Comfy house in great quiet location

Really comfortable home to stay in, warm cozy and inviting on a drizzly day we arrived in Mount Gambier, had all we required with a sheltered and secure yard. Great location for easy access to Blue Lake walk one way, and town amenities the other. Very happy, would stay again.

Great location

We very much enjoyed our stay in Mt Gambier. The house was a great set up for our family. We were in easy walking distance to the Blue Lake and walking into town only took about 15mins. The bookcase with lots of books to choose from to read during our stay was an added bonus. Thanks!

Perfect Mount Gambier Stay

The house was very well located, very clean and spacious. The amenities were very helpful, eg very nice heating, drying machine, etc. the backyard was spacious for our dog. Restaurants were nearby and they delivered food easily. Very happy with our stay. Shall come back with family.

Great location, nice size in and out

Brilliant location within walking distance of Blue Lake lookouts. Carol very kindly had lights and heater on for our after dark arrival which was lovely. The e guide is a good idea and it was great that Carol checked to make sure we'd settled in and was responsive to a query in the first day or so. The fenced yard was great for our dogs. Thanks.

Home away from home

Beautiful home and wonderful host. Had everything I need, plus more. Located in a gorgeous part of town, with a short walk to the lake and walking distance to the main part of town. Very comfy bed in the large master bedroom and beautiful gas log fire in the lounge room. Huge kitchen with everything you need. Only thing you might want to bring is a shower cap as the shower is a rain shower from above. Loved it and highly recommend!

On arrival house was lovely and warm with lights/heaters all on, which was most welcome on a very cold day. Very clean and comfortable lounge/dining furniture and beds. Fenced and large yard for our dog, who was allowed inside. Located in a quiet area with lots of older lovely stone houses to see on a walk. Very easy check in process and great communication with the host

Couldn’t have chosen better.

We loved our stay in this delightful house which begins with the lovely scent that greets you when you first enter and delight at finding a “welcome” gift of Tim Tams! All the bedrooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable. We only used the kitchen for coffee but it is spacious and functional if you’re going to be doing your own cooking. Location is great and not too far from any of Mt Gambier’s great attractions and city centre. We would definitely stay at this lovely property again.

Couldn't have done better for our mini break

A very comfortable, clean and warm place. The sofas were comfy as well, often they aren't in places. Beds were also restful. Not to hard, not to soft. It was cold when we were there, but the heating was plenty warm inside. We loved the enclosed rear yard, nice and secure with good fences. But really would stay again, highly recommend!

Great location, nice area

Very close to Blue Lake and a 20 minute mostly flat walk into the town centre which offers plenty of options for eating out. We did avail ourselves of the generous kitchen to cook for ourselves and dined in 2 out of 3 nights. This small house has everything you need, with modern appliances and a recent renovation so everything is nice and clean.
