Welcome to a unique Koi Ponds Retreat & Nature Escape featuring 2 separate units, a Private Master Suite with En Suite and a Cozy Casita Cottage with Full Outdoor Kitchen under the Veranda.
Wake up to your own personal paradise with Koi Ponds, growing fruit trees, and various lounging areas in nearly 3000 sq ft of this private residence in beautiful downtown Fullerton, California.
Step outside the Master Suite into the Veranda for a hearty breakfast using the new white shaker outdoor kitchen. Enjoy your tea or coffee watching the beautiful vivid Koi fish splash and play. Say “Good Morning to Norman”, our life-size fiber glass Crocodile Guardian of the Ponds.
When you stay here you can enjoy the expansive outdoors designed for lounging and entertaining. The ponds water features are a perfect acoustic backdrop for a soak in the Hot Tub.
In the back, about 100 ft from the Master Suite, past the first pond, you can walk under the cape honeysuckle vine to a secret getaway with 6-person dining table and Fire Pit, perfect for roasting s’mores and relaxing under the open sky.
The Cozy Casita’s covered porch and Master’s Veranda are perfect for lounging or entertaining up to 10 people.
Our beloved California Ranch Style home is only a block from a specialty grocery store, and a couple minutes to charming Downtown shops, trendy restaurants, and town-favorites like bootleggers brewery. Right behind the property is the Muckenthaler Cultural Center where popular outdoor concerts take place almost weekly. Nearby is Cal State Fullerton, Laguna Lake Park, and is only 10 minutes to KNOTTS BERRY FARM, SOAK CITY, DISNEYLAND, CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE, and a few minutes more to Anaheim Convention Center, and Angels Stadium. We are 35 minutes from Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and Balboa Island and around 45 minutes or so to Los Angeles. There may be too little time in a week to enjoy the property and Fullertons treasures.
The Cozy Casita is about 30 feet from the Veranda Kitchen and Master Suite and a few steps from the HOT TUB, making it a wonderful “pool house” or lounge area.
The Master Suite is comfortably insulated year-round, and has a view through the full-wall sliding glass doors that lead to the Veranda. The Master Suite has Soft White Linens and extra blankets, a thick memory foam hybrid Queen Bed, and an additional Twin Daybed for sleeping up to 3 guests. The Master Suite has a full-size, built-in closet, console desk, nightstands, solid wood dresser, 36” ROKU TV, FREE 5G Fiber Wireless Internet, and fireplace hearth seating.
The newly updated Master Studio En Suite is complete with quartz countertop, glass-door shower/bath, hair dryer, fresh towels, shampoo and sundries.
The separate 1-room Cozy Casita has a Full-size Velvet Futon, Ethan Allen Armoire, tall linen closet, shoe rack, Keurig, Small Fridge, Mission Desk Hutch, 32” Internet TV, FREE 5G Fiber Wireless Internet, and 6 Ft Wide French Glass Doors that open to view the outdoors.
The patio-covered OUTDOOR KITCHEN is steps from the Master Studio providing a refreshing area to entertain and cook. The kitchen has a full-size Fridge/Freezer, 2-burner Electric Stove, 5-burner propane BBQ, 36” propane Griddle, Microwave, Keurig, Blender, Large Stainless Sink with Sink Sprayer, partial quartz countertop for cooking and ample cabinets stocked with pots/pans, utensils and wares. The indoors are perfect for a small group or family of 3-4 people while the expansive outdoor patios and kitchen easily entertains up to 10 people. Our family loves Fullerton. We are longtime residents and loyal fans of our quaint college town. We enjoy sharing our home with good people, Koi enthusiasts and those who appreciate nature and the culture of this character-filled town.
Varför värden valde detta boende
Fullerton is full of charm, trendy shops, cultural museums, fun nightlife, only 10 min from Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland, under half hour to California beaches, under an hour from O’Neill Wilderness park and within 2 hours of Wintery Snow at Mt. Baldy Ski Lifts. There’s far too much to list, whether you love the mountain, beaches, nature hikes, rivers, family attractions or trendy restaurants and nightlife one stay will not be enough time!

Our property is situated on 1/4 acre of picturesque expansive land within a quiet cul-de-sac, that is a short walk from shops and restaurants. The family style neighborhood is safe, upbeat and welcoming. The lodging is a versatile arrangement of two separate buildings, a cozy one-room casita that can be used for daytime relaxing or sleep one couple. The Large Master Studio with updated en suite is bright and airy with large sliding glass doors leading to the outdoor kitchen, casita, hot tub, fire pits and koi ponds. The property features, amenities and double lodging allows for privacy and relaxation, multiple entertaining scenarios and multi-family stay. Please note that all guests/visitors must be approved by Host AT TIME OF BOOKING.
