Loved how close to the beach we were; just a quick walk. Loved being right next to the state park. Not crowded; no loud obnoxious folks lol. Very peaceful little place. Great restaurant two minutes away. Our family of five, my husband and I with our three kiddos( 24, 16, 14) enjoyed this trip immensely.

Other than trouble with gate combination and front door combination every thing was quite acceptable....think i should mention the 3 cockroaches...might have them spray inside as well as outside.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad you found everything else acceptable, and I apologize for the inconvenience with the gate and front door codes. We appreciate you bringing the concern about the roaches to our attention. The HOA regularly treats the property for insects, and I just put in a service request for additional treatment. We want all of our guests to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

The unit is a short walk to the beach. It is also located near the entrance of the beautiful St Joseph state park. The unit was clean and had all the amenities promised. Communication with the owner was very good. The check in and out procedures were clear. I highly recommend.

Lovely home. The house was exactly as description said. Comfy furniture and beds. Had the feel of being in resort. Beach is absolutely beautiful!! And Jenny the host was very good at getting back with us with questions we had!

The property was absolutely beautiful. We loved overlooking the little pond and having the turtles look up at us every morning. The beach was just an easy walk and everything we could need was provided for a great day in the sun! This location was quiet and everyone around was respectful and kind. The restaurant options in the area were OUTSTANDING. Just wish a grocery store/convenient store would be closer but even the drive into town wasn't too bad.

Thank you Lisa. I hope you will come back to Funseeker! The Trading Post on the Cape is rebuilding after a fire this year. It had a little of everything so no need to go into town. I am hearing it will be better than ever so keep that in mind for next year!

It was a nice end unit, but we had an issue with a animal stuck somewhere in a wall, so there was some scent lingering in the condo for a few days and then it was removed and everything was fine. It is a dog friendly condo environment. All the amenities you need are there she includes laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, a few things that you need just for your daily stay well equipped. Beach was wonderful as always. Weather was perfect. Driving distance to different locations. It’s just a wonderful place to stay.

As you can see from my 5 star ratings, I really care and try to keep them up. In this case, I found out there was a smell the morning when the last guest was leaving and Nancy was checking in that afternoon. I found and offered Nancy an alternative condo but also let her know that I had a company coming out to address it. She decided to stay at Funseeker knowing she could always use the other condo if need be. They came twice trying to find the source and eliminated it. The smell was contained to the foyer and did not permeate the other floors. I am very sorry this happened but it was an unforeseen circumstance.

It was great for a short stay. Very interesting area on Cape San Blas. Beautiful beaches and nice wildlife park. Did some bicycling too! Port St. Joe was a nearby town. Nice shops and good variety of restaurants.

Wifi password info needs to be updated...VRBO says one thing, the owners rental agreement says another and both were incorrect. I emailed the owner with no response but finally found the correct password in a photo albumn at the property containing info about the area and the rental. My husband and I didn't get much sleep as we like a firm mattress and the beds here are like sleeping on a big marshmallow. Overall, though, we enjoyed our stay here.

The WiFi password was shared in the “Info for Your Funseeker Vacation” email, as well as in the house manual where you were able to locate it. I do not include it in the Rental Agreement. As for the beds, mattress comfort is certainly a personal preference. While many guests have complimented the mattresses, I am sorry to hear you did not sleep well during your stay. I am glad, however, that you enjoyed your vacation overall, and I appreciate your feedback.

Spring break at barrier dunes

Great stay! The condo was very clean and perfect for our family. Close to the beach, pools and tennis courts. Loved it and Jenny was great to work with.

Great Place

Property was clean and beds were comfortable. There was a short walk to the beach and getting to bring our dog was a bonus. Great trip, would definitely recommend.

We love our time at Cape San Blas! Barrier Dunes provides amenities that our kids appreciate.

This property was easy to rent, great communication from owner, and exactly what we expected.

Property as advertised

My husband and I (along with two small dogs) spent a great week at Funseeker. Property is a short walk to the beach access and the provided cart, chairs and umbrella were great!
