VÀlkomna! Detta charmiga 1920-talet 2 sovrum 1 badrum Craftsman stil hem ligger pÄ ett tunnland och mindre Àn 2 miles frÄn hjÀrtat av Atascadero.
Du kan resa i nÄgon riktning och utforska nÄgra stora platser i SLO County. Det finns Paso Robles vin land, Paso Robles Event Center med Mid-State Fair och Lake Nacimiento i norr, i öster finns det Carizzo Plains National Monument, i vÀster finns Morro Bay, Cayucos och Stilla havet, till nordvÀstra finns Cambria, San Simeon, inklusive natursköna Hwy 1, och i söder finns det pittoreska Santa Margarita och Santa Margarita Lake, San Luis Obispo, Grover och Pismo Beach. San Luis Obispo lÀn har ocksÄ Los Padres National Forest med gott om vandringsleder som kan nÄs nÀra Atascadero.
Stugan var helt enkelt byggdes pÄ 1920-talet och uppdateras med funktion i Ätanke. Det Àr en av de ursprungliga koloni hem i Atascadero. Det Àr vÀl lÀmpad för fyra personer. Den har en veranda med rockers som du kan njuta av kvÀllar pÄ ... Àven ta din mÄltid. Det finns tvÄ sovrum, ett med en dubbelsÀng och den andra med en dubbelsÀng. BÄda har en byrÄ och en garderob i deras rum. En full storlek ugn och spis, mikrovÄgsugn, diskmaskin och full storlek kylskÄp i köket. Badrummet Àr utrustat med dusch / badkar och en vÀrmare för din komfort. Det finns en grill pÄ bakgÄrden som lagras i skjulet nÀra huset, och ett bord och stolar för utomhusbruk. Det finns ett antal ekar pÄ fastigheten som ger gÄrden en parkliknande miljö. Deer slingrar sig genom gÄrden varje kvÀll och du kan Àven se en kalkon dÄ och dÄ. Walk the 'San Clemente loop "och njuta av skiftande arkitektur av bostÀder och landskapsarkitektur lÀngs vÀgen.

Atascadero is a good place to escape Alaska's winter

Comfortable, good location (quick trip to Vons, Trader Joes, Templeton, Paddock Zoo), good neighbors (they had two adorable kittens and several dogs who loved to visit) and interesting scenery.

Perfect short getaway

Very quaint and good location

We loved our stay here. The house was a quaint historic home with all the needed amenities. Our favorite activity was sitting on the front porch in the morning with our coffee watching the local deer gather. Great location for exploring the central coast.

Perfect quiet getaway

So nice to feel so far away from the hustle and bustle

The furnishings were dated and the yard had lots of leavings from the dog but overall, the space both inside and out was so restful.

The Colony Cottage is a favorite. We've been many times and are always delighted with our time in the area. Tranquil, yet near Paso, SLO, and Morro Bay. Donna is an excellent host.

Wonderful!

The cottage was delightful. Even with temps over 100 degrees some days, it stayed cool inside. The location is beautiful and we loved watching the wildlife.

Quite, & charming

Gorgeous property! Extremely quite as well. Very large kitchen should you have any cooking space requirements. Comfy beds, cozy living room, couldn't ask for more... it was relaxing stay for sure. Also only 5 minutes from restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores.

Pleasant & Relaxing Stay

Three sisters traveling to area for family and County Fair. Wonderful and relaxing cottage. Quiet and clean. Fans available to stifle the heat. Close to our destinations. Enjoyed the concert at the Zoo park. Enjoyed the Fair also. Look forward to visiting again.

Peaceful retreat

This was exactly the place for a peaceful retreat that my husband and I were looking for for our vacation. We could tell when we saw the front porch and rocking chairs that it was made for us. We stayed a week and are happy to be home. We will have fond memories of this cottage for many years to come.

Charming Cottage!

We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The cottage is clean and the 1920s vibe is fun! Deer grazing in the back and bees humming in the lavender border add to the charm. The location is perfect to visit Paso Robles, Morro Bay, and San Luis Obispo. We hiked, drove through the vineyards, saw the elephant seals in San Clemente, and thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings.

Wonderful cottage!

The cottage was perfect for me and my two young children. The location was convenient to wineries and child friendly attractions like parks and farms. The yard was spacious and offered plenty of deer to watch at dusk. We would absolutely come back! Donna is easy to reach and answers promptly to any questions or concerns.

Great Weekend at The Colony Cottage

Great, clean, affordable cottage with a wonderful front porch. Warm afternoons, cool evenings, easy access to the coast. If you require central A/C you may want to explore elsewhere. But if you’re the type who loves an old craftsman home in a country neighborhood this is the place for you. We loved opening up all the windows to receive the cool morning and evening air. A real delight.

Charles and I bought this house just before we got married in 1981. While we have moved for employment, this home has never been far from our minds, and we love it. Our daughter Sarah lives next door and will help you get settled or give you some great tips about the town.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

When we were engaged to be married we knew that our first order of business was to buy a home. Finding the right home proved to be hard and nothing seemed to satisfy us both. Then the realtor brought us to this little home on an acre. As we turned into the drive way and our eyes settled on the front porch, we knew we had found home.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

While we have neighbors around us, the property has a very rural feel. There is a church across the street, so it is busy on Sunday mornings, otherwise fairly quiet during the week. The house is located on a hill. Many people walk this street for exercise and has been nicknamed the San Clemente Loop. No two houses or properties are alike, so it is interesting to walk the loop or 'block' and see the different houses and landscaping.
You know what I love about this neighborhood? First off the neighbors on either side are great (one is my daughter...of course I would say that!). The second thing I love is the way it smells, the grass especially in the summer with the oaks has an earthy fragrance that just seems to help relax me.
