Our trip to Mi-Wuk was great. Great communication with the owner! The area is very nice and quiet. The house is very well stocked with kitchen items, paper towels, etc. Had a great time with family on the deck - sunsets were beautiful! Had to call the owner a couple of times and he was awesome! Would definitely rent this cabin again. Has a nice long driveway for parking our boat too!

We had a great time. Any problems we had were were addressed by Michael in a timely manner. Lyon’s reservoir at the Dam was great for catching trout. We caught our limit in an hour. We went to Pinecrest lake to late in the afternoon. It was full of people. Just go early to get a table.

Great end of summer trip

Cabin was perfect for two families and 2 pups! Close to Pinecrest and Mia’s for yummy pizza. Deck was perfect for enjoying the cooler evenings!

My family and I had a great time during our Christmas get-together. The house was very comfortable and cozy. The house was larger than I expected, there were 8 of us so we had plenty of space. Mike was a great host, quick to respond and very accommodating. I asked him if he could make it snow and he came through! :)

Lovely Cabin in the Woods

Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen and a nice location. Property manager kept in contact, even through a power outage during a blizzard, he was able to help get someone to plow the driveway. A very memorable stay!

Great Place, Lots of Room

Nice place! We traveled up the highway to Beardsley Lake and Fraser Flat, but it was a little smoky from the distant wildfires. There is plenty of room on the property and good privacy. This would be a good place to bring kids.

Definitely booking again!

The property was perfect for our family! The dogs had plenty of room to romp and we didn’t have to leave the house to do some sledding. Plenty of rooms and space. So many accommodating items. It was such a wonderful stay.

Perfect for our family!

We enjoyed our time so much we are thinking about doing a summer trip here. The home had everything you could possibly need and some. The location was close to everything. No need to haul up toys for the kids, there was plenty of them. Games for the adults too. Great place!

Great place for young kids!

We had an awesome experience staying here. The kids had a great time (we have twins that are three years old and a 5 year old). We drove to ski at Dodge Ridge, 30 minutes away, went sledding and played on the playground on the property. This is the perfect place to stay for a cheap family ski trip! Thanks again, Mike!

Great place to relax and enjoy nature Only issue was the previous guest had left there garbage and did not clean there items out of refrigerator We did enjoy our time there

Sorry about that, the garbage companies don't have a small enough truck to service our road, and then the issue in winter is the (garbage truck) getting stuck in snow. AWD is recommended in winter.

Beautiful home

The home was definitely set up for comfort. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living room cozy and bedrooms comfortable. It is in the perfect spot for exploring and close enough to the market for anything you forgot at home. It was a perfect weekend!

Spacious well stocked home

This lovely home is large and handicap accessible. Plenty of needed supplies like linen, towels and paper products. Wifi and cable TV a big plus! Air conditioned!!! The person renting was very accessible to answer any questions. We’d definitely rent again!

This is my parents home,they are originally from San Francisco, growing up there and meeting at S.F. State. My Mom worked as an elementary school teacher and Dad worked as an electrician. Scout camping trips year round in the Sierras really warmed us to the area. My parents raised us family on the Peninsula, sent us kids to college, and are now enjoying retirement, and being new grandparents. We wanted to share this beautiful home with others so they might have wonderful weekend and vacation experiences that we were able to create for our family. In the winter you can ski at Dodge Ridge, in the Summer you can go to Pinecrest lake and play on the water. Hiking and camping opportunities galore.

Friends and Family live nearby in Twain Harte, and Pinecrest. It's a shorter drive than going to Tahoe from the Bay Area.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Snow in the winter, with it skiing, snowboarding, and being nice and snug by a warm fire. Summer has beautiful hikes and boating on nearby lakes. Fresh mountain pine air. It's lovely.
