Wonderful location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was a great place to land on the Panhandle! We best appreciated the easy access to the beach, & it’s hard to beat waking up to a cup of coffee on the balcony & a walk along the beach. Starbucks, Dunkin, Baskin Robbins & Chick-fil-a within walking distance were welcome surprises for the kids who like to break up the beach days. They could also play cornhole, pickleball, swim in the pool & play beach volleyball on site. There was a nice security guard who even helped them look for a wayward volleyball in the bushes one evening!The kitchen was well supplied, they had a coffee grinder on site (we brought our own just in case). There were signs of wear on the baseboards & cabinets in the kitchen & bathrooms-it wasn’t newly renovated but it was comfortable & there was ample space to store personal effects while there. We enjoyed our stay.

4th Annual shrimp & grits getaway

This is a fabulous unit with a stunning view of the gulf. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with all upscale appliances. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Destin Condo

Very clean and comfortable condo on the beach with an awesome view. The only real complaint would be the shutters in second did not darken the bedroom enough from exterior lights, should be replaced or add curtains.

Unit has a fabulous view of gulf. It was quiet and well furnished. Having beach set up service included was very convenient. Conveniently located near stores and restaurants. Unit did have a musty smell. There was water damage that left a section of dining area ceiling damaged that may have contributed to smell. Only other issue was master suite mattress is extra firm. Not a necessarily negative but a preference issue. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Needs a Refresh

Condo kitchen is very nice and fully equipped. This unit needs a good Spring cleaning and a little TLC. Remove the dirty carpet, new paint, and new towels and MB comforter would be a good start. The condo is nice and we would stay again if at least the carpet was gone.

Love the 11th floor for the view.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The kitchen was stocked okay, bathrooms were clean and good size, bedrooms okay but pillows need to be replaced. We bought new ones to use and took them home. Carpet in bedrroms needed cleaning badly, and living room sofa and chair needs replaced. They are the same as were in the condo in 2017 as Higgins rented it. Hope for new furniture when we come back next February.

Awesome week!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay! We paid for the early check in and it was totally worth it. The condo was clean, spacious and very accommodating. The location was perfect, just a few blocks from the water park and several great dinner locations. Traffic was somewhat difficult but we stayed in July and that’s to be expected. The umbrella and chair setup was really nice each day and my kids loved the pool. The parking location for the condo was just feet away from the elevator. A few cons...our ice maker didn’t work so we had to navigate traffic each day to buy ice. We were also only provided 3 small trash bags so it was one more thing to run out and get. There was also only one elevator working for half our trip. Being on the 11th floor in the heat made that extremely difficult. Luckily the second one was fixed and things moved so much quicker. We had great service whenever we needed anything prior to the trip. We did have a question the last day and it took about 24 hours to hear back but overall the experience was wonderful and we’d love to stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Positives: Location; view; spacious; reserved/covered parking a plus; well equipped; loved the included beach setup. Was quiet ... didn't hear noise from neighboring units.Negatives: Arrived late (8PM) - the code for the door lock did not work. No one is on-site, even security. Property management did not answer phone calls. Finally received a text with the correct code but this was very distressing. How can you not provide the correct door code if no one is going to be available to assist!? As others have noted, the shine has gone off this unit. Especially the fabric sofa set in the living area. Upholstery is stained and dirty. Upon entry, I ran my hand over the sofa back and found sand and dirt.

Great Condo on the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place for a week long stay. Balcony overlooked the ocean. Quick, easy access to the private beach or the pool. Kitchen had everything we needed. The dryer quit working during our stay and maintenance was there and took care of the problem quickly. My only complaint (and its a super minor one) is that the elevator ride to the 11th floor was hot and stuffy. Will definitely be booming and staying again. Couldn't be happier with our stay.
