Perfect location for everything

Great location, great host, enjoyed the convenience of private beach access and close to other entertainment for our 5 year old son. Would stay here again, no doubt.

Enjoyed our Stay

We liked this place because it didn’t have a lot of floors and people, which means not waiting long for elevators and having to be 3 rows back with the beach chairs/umbrellas, easy parking. Well maintained, family friendly.

Great place to stay in Destin

The condo gave very easy access to the beach and facility amenities. The check-in process was simple, and communication with the owner was very easy. We'd certainly stay again!

Great condo for a small family of 4.25! :)

Pros: - amazing balcony view- easy access in and out of condos- steps from the elevator- beautiful decor & countertops- spacious living room- all necessities conveniently stockedCons:- A week before check in, I received an email from the condo owner stating there was extra fees for registered guests and instead of absorbing the cost as the owner who rented it out, I had to pay 15 per guest which was an additional 60 that was not communicated upon booking. (recent change after booking)- Beach chair rentals are 30 half day 45 whole day (other condos I've rented included a set)- Arrived at 5:10p on Sat, June 14 for check in and the doors were locked - hours of operation till 6pm. Called the emergency number as instructed for Sun arrival. Spoke to the property owner, Ken, who reassured me I could receive bracelets and parking pass on Monday. - The hot tub was out of order and unavailable until the 4th day of our stay.- just found out it takes 2 weeks to get my 1500 damage deposit back although it's been days 5 days since check out and guaranteed inspected & rented by now. Supposedly that's funded by VRBO but yet they've collected it and held my money for months but hey... What's another 2 weeks as a punishment for not purchasing the extra insurance?!

Great location

Sterling Sands is well maintained and in a great location! We enoyed walking to the Back Porch for meals, Big Kahuna down the street, and the arcade/track for go karts. The location can't be beat with starbucks, chik-fil a, and alvins isalnd all within walking distance. The condo itself could use a deep cleaning as we noticed excessive sand in the unit upon arriving & the dishes in the pantry were often not cleaned.

Great Beach Vacation

Property was just as described! We have stayed in this building several times but this was a first time in this unit and we will be back! Perfect views with easy beach access! Owner was so easy to work with!

Really enjoyed a long weekend getaway at the Sterling Sands 612. Incredible view, nice facilities and better beach experience than some of the more crazy crowded areas to the East. Host was easy to communicate with and we will be back. Thanks Robin

The second bedroom had blood on the sheets when we arrived there. The closet door was broken, We were able to fix it so we could use it but you need to fix it. We really loved the view and our stay there.

Destin Vacation

This condo was perfect for our family of 4 with two teenage girls. The second bedroom is small but was fine for us. I loved all the little extras here like hooks over doors for wet swimsuits, drying rack on balcony and 4 chairs on the balcony. The balcony view is beautiful looking directly out to the ocean. You can hear traffic in the morning from the bedrooms but walk into kitchen and you don't hear it anymore and have a great open view of the ocean. My only disappointment was the beach service, you sign up the day you get there and 1st come get front row. So we never got moved to front row and watched empty chairs every day on the front. We was just used to going down early and getting our chairs. The second row wasn't bad but would have enjoyed being on the front row a day or two. The pool was perfect and heated which was very relaxing. The condo was extremely clean, great location and well stocked. Our family had an overall perfect stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great condo with an amazing beach!!

We loved our vacation in Destin! The condo was beautiful and well maintained/updated. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee (loved having a Keurig provided in the condo, we brought K-cups for the week) on the balcony overlooking the beautiful beach. We loved having access to the private beach and the beach service! The water/beach was not over crowded and we could relax knowing we had our spot on the beach reserved daily. We enjoyed the beach during the day and then the lit pool/hot-tub at night. The condo was well stocked with dishes and other things like many hooks to hang towels/clothes and even a towel/bathing suit rack on the balcony to dry our stuff in between going to beach and the pool. It was great having a washer/dryer in the unit and we brought some laundry detergent pods. The condo owner was great and very responsive during the entire process. We would definitely book unit 612 again and again. Make sure you grab pizza from Merlin’s (we went there 4x) and donuts from Donut Hole!. Also, check our the Harbor Walk, tons to do there.

Convenient & Accessible Beachfront

If you are looking for a property with easy access to the beach, this is it! Although 2 beach chairs with an umbrella come included, we found we rarely used them. The chairs were a bit rickety and the ocean water at the time we were there was too rough to sit in the second row of chairs and watch our young ones in the water. The pool and hot tub, however, was pure perfection. Not sure we’ll ever visit another pool that compares to the bath like temperatures of this pool! We cooked dinner every night in the condo. It was well stocked, minus scissors. Seems like an odd thing to want, but having a pair would have come in handy to cut into thing. Couldn’t find any. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was a big bonus for us. The owner was quick to communicate and helpful. There is a Target and Walmart within minutes, which we found to be helpful for groceries. Add 15 extra minutes travel time when driving on the strip. Traffic was slow every single day, especially between 12-6ish. In all this unit treated us well and was a great fit for our family!
