Another Fantastic Stay

The little things

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin in a resort. The cabin could have been anywhere. But it was the little things that lowered my rating. A toaster that worked, a skilled that was large enough to cook in, a roof that didn't have a small leak and they knew about it with a cup to catch the rain. A few supply beyond just one roll of toilet paper for a 7 day stay. It seems they forgot the small stuff that makes a big difference in a week long stay.

Always Enjoy Elk Springs Resort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the location and cleanliness of the Resort. The cabin we were in is starting to show some age, but still a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We did have to put in a second floor clean ourselves, but this is a pet friendly cabin so pet smells are to be expected, however we were able to remedy the smell with very minimal cleaning of the floor.

Good but not great

I did have some issues with the cleanliness of the cabin. The cabin was very dirty as in dust, my son suffers from asthma and had multiple asthma attacks within our stay. The smell is very strange in this cabin more so in the downstairs area in the kitchen and bedroom downstairs, to me personally it smells like urine. The bed in the bedroom downstairs did not look clean, it had a hole in the quilt and the fitted sheet was covered in hair and dust and so were the lamps on the night stands. This is a beautiful cabin but I do suggest doing a deep clean of it.

Relaxing Weekend!

Amazing Get Away

There was dust at the top of the showers and shower heads as well as spider webs. It appeared to be from lack of detail when cleaning rather than expectation from being in the woods.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and enjoyed our vacation. The staff was very attentive to any calls or emails that were sent throughout the duration of our stay.
