VÄr egendom pÄ halv tunnland ligger direkt pÄ Big Island enda öppna för allmÀnheten Hilo Municipal Golf Course, i den södra delen av Hilo.
Vi har vÄrt huvudhus framför och mot baksidan av 800 kvm Studio och Lanai mot öster, med direkt utsikt över vÄr trÀdgÄrd och frukttrÀdgÄrd. VÄr frukttrÀdgÄrd innehÄller olika sÀsongsbetonade frukter som papayas, starfruit, litchi, Jabuticaba och mer.

VÄrt centrala lÀge ger dig stor tillgÄng till alla East Hawaiis olika aktiviteter.

Bara 7-15 min. bort har du alla Hilos shopping- och restaurangermöjligheter. Den historiska delen av Hilo Downtown med Hilo Farmer Market, Just Cruisin Coffee och Ou Thai Food (pÄ bondemarknaden med stor thailÀndsk grön papayasallad), nÀmna bara nÄgra fÄ.

Bara 10-30 min. bort har du tillgÄng till Hilos strÀnder, surfing, vandring, spelunking, vattenfall och den stora öns stora attraktion, lavan som flyter ut i havet.

Bara 25-45 min. bort till söder har du tillgÄng till Big Island's Volcano National Park och Hawaiis Volcano Winery precis runt hörnet.
Och norrut, Hamakuakustens Hawaii Tropical Batanical Garden, Hawaiis enda och mycket pittoreska Laupahoehoe Train Museum och den otroliga Waipi'o-dalen.

Eller bara stanna hemma och Äka en rund golf, pÄ öns enda öppna för offentliga golfbana, "Hilo Municipal Golf Course".

Wonderful place to stay to explore Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. Comfortable, clean and a beautiful setting that feels like being in a tree-house with lovely views. The hosts are very welcoming and close by to help with anything that is needed. We highly recommend and would love to stay again someday in the future. Our hosts, Ingrid & Amon, were warm, welcoming, and always helpful. The space they created is tidy and comfortable, with numerous windows that let in the fresh air of Hilo. The property features a wonderful deck at the back with a view of the nearby golf course. Staying at this property in a lovely Hilo neighborhood gives you a genuine sense of what it is like to live in the area. The location provides easy access to all the amenities of Hilo and is a quick drive to the volcanoes. We enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Kilauea volcano, where we viewed a massive lava eruption. It was so mesmerizing that we returned the next day to spend more time exploring some of the park's fantastic trails and sights. Thanks to Ingrid and Amon for creating a welcoming space for us to stage our adventures.

Ingrid was a very welcoming hostess! The studio is beautiful with lots of surrounding windows to enjoy nature from all angles. Birds chirping and the rain drops are so tranquil. It's close to town yet far enough to enjoy time to yourself. It has everything you need from kitchen supplies to beach essentials. It was nice to have Ingrid so close by as I had questions about how to tour Hilo. You'll love it here!!!

Well appointed apartment in convenient location

The apartment is spacious and airy and very well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent for visiting all of the major tourist attractions and the hosts are very helpful and friendly.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this VROB immensely. The living area was large and had lots of seating and good lighting. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything we needed. We didn't do any cooking but there were lots of pans and pots if you did want to. Everything was awesome and we appreciated being able to stay there.

Lovely property in Hilo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the studio. It was lovely, clean and spacious, with a well equipped kitchen. Hilo was a good base for exploring Volcano National Park and the east coast of the island. We appreciated being in a quiet neighborhood but having a car was essential. There is a bus stop nearby but the bus only runs once an hour.

Home away from home

We had a great time in Hilo and it started with a wonderful place to stay. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and our host was very sweet! She was always willing to listen to our stories of the day. We will definitely stay again when in Hilo.

Great location, great host

The location was just what I thought it would be. It was easy to get into Hilo town or head to Volcano National Park. The host is very responsive to any needs we had since she is right there on site. The interior was clean and very comfortable. The lanai is perfectly private.

We’ve booked here three times! It’s a great place to stay. So conveniently located, right in a neighborhood in Hilo by a golf course. The host family is next door and Ingrid is very helpful, communicative, and responsive. The photos on VRBO are accurate and the place is clean. Great stay in Hilo!

This studio was a great base for all our adventures on the east side of the island, which is so incredibly beautiful. It was a quick drive/excellent day-trip to Volcanoes National Park, Waipio Valley, etc. Ingrid was so helpful with everything we asked. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and has a great kitchen with everything you need to make your own meals and grocery stores within a few minutes drive of the residential neighborhood. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the balcony. I would note that there are pet dogs and cats on the property. We would definitely stay here again if back in Hilo!

We are a family of four. We have a daughter and a son. The house owner is born and raised here on the Big Island. His wife is from Germany.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This house is now 30 years owned by the family. It is passed on through the generations of the house owners family. The house itself is an old Plantation house style building. This means it is the old style they builded houses here on the island 50 years ago. In the last year the house underwent major renovations and rebuilding to make it much nicer and also a little bid bigger. The location is a nice, secure and quiet neighborhood on the golf driving range. That makes this house and location as a vacation rental quite unique.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We fell in love with the nice, big and airy studio. The view from its patio out over the yard, the golf course, and out the ocean.
