Wonderful place to stay to explore Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. Comfortable, clean and a beautiful setting that feels like being in a tree-house with lovely views. The hosts are very welcoming and close by to help with anything that is needed. We highly recommend and would love to stay again someday in the future. Mahalo to our kind hosts for making our vacation even more special.

Well appointed apartment in convenient location

The apartment is spacious and airy and very well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent for visiting all of the major tourist attractions and the hosts are very helpful and friendly.

Ingrid was an amazing host. She’s very friendly and helpful and her kitchen has absolutely everything! I love that she provides an easy system for recycling and even composting at the property. Useful food is also kept in the unit fridge and not tossed which is an important value when it is expensive to shop and you can never buy only small quantities for a short stay. We loved the outdoor table on the lanai most! All in all a terrific stay in a quiet location very close to downtown Hilo. We hope to come back.

The stay was better than expected. The accomodations and the Hosts were exceptional. We highly recommend this apartment to everyone needing a central location to eplore the eastern side of the Big Island, look no further and make your reservation now. Enjoy!

Home away from home

We had a great time in Hilo and it started with a wonderful place to stay. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and our host was very sweet! She was always willing to listen to our stories of the day. We will definitely stay again when in Hilo.

Perfect Cozy Oasis!

Wonderful stay on a wonderful island! The place was very clean and stocked with all the items you would require. Communication with Ingrid was perfect and seamless. Definitely recommend and hope to be back one day!

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this VROB immensely. The living area was large and had lots of seating and good lighting. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything we needed. We didn't do any cooking but there were lots of pans and pots if you did want to. Everything was awesome and we appreciated being able to stay there.

Wonderful Home Away From Home

Ingrid has thought of everything in creating this lovely apartment. She has everything you need to live very comfortably, and her decor is instantly relaxing and pleasant. We will definitely be coming back the next time we visit Hilo.

Great location, great host

The location was just what I thought it would be. It was easy to get into Hilo town or head to Volcano National Park. The host is very responsive to any needs we had since she is right there on site. The interior was clean and very comfortable. The lanai is perfectly private.
