Dana's cottage vacation spot was more beautiful than the pictures and the location was perfect. We had trouble getting the TV on and called Dana later in the evening and she was very gracious to help us out. The beautiful site from the dock or front porch, with crown land all to the left, and Cherry Island directly across was stunning. Our family enjoyed every minute entertaining the adults and the children with a variety of activities. We all enjoyed the canoe, 2 paddles boards, the padel boat, and lots of swimming. You were able to get around the whole lake to adventure, fish and swim, and sit in the Muskoka chairs to enjoy the view and sunsets. Our grandchildren were able to fish from the dock, enjoy the pedal boat, catch tadpoles, listen to the lunes, and enjoy the ducks visit. They also enjoyed the hike from the smaller water fall to the larger water fall where you can sit in the water below. There is the Bent River General Store where you can get everything you need and the cabbage rolls and perogies were delicous. On Saturday they have a farmers market that has everything from fruit, veggies, home cooked meals, arts, crafts, jewellry, wood carvings, baking goods, meat, cheese, live music, and much more. For fine dining you have the famous Windermere and the Crossroads reataurants to enjoy a delicious meal and walk around. There is a variety of hiking trails in the area, Santas Village, and man parks and cities to advenure. Dana was very kind to leave us a gift bag of marshmellow, chocolates and wafers, to enjoy smores over the bomfire! Thankyou Dana for letting us enjoy your wonderful cottage with all the many great memories. The Jarosz Family
