Large apartment in Paterstöck - near Cathedral - 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms
Apartment in the "Paterstöckl" House â Part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Heart of Salzburg's Old Town, 150 meters from the Cathedral, 500 meters to the Festival Hall. Fully renovated in 2016 and listed as a protected historic building.
This apartment is located on the upper and attic floors of the Paterstöckl, a small house in the heart of Salzburgâs Cathedral Quarter. The building, first mentioned in 1601, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and was lovingly renovated in 2016. It enjoys a prime location â just 130 meters from Salzburg Cathedral and 500 meters from the Festival Hall â right at the foot of the Hohensalzburg Fortress.
The building houses only two apartments. Each apartment has its own private entrance, and upon request, the two units can be internally connected (see our separate listing for the entire house if you need more space).
The apartment presented here is the larger of the two and is located on the upper and attic floors. The entrance is at the rear of the house (facing the Hohensalzburg Fortress) and, due to the gentle slope of the terrain, is almost at ground level, with only a few steps to access it. The interior, including bathrooms and kitchen, is newly furnished. The apartment features a combination of underfloor heating and wall-mounted radiators. The flooring consists of terrazzo in the entrance area and kitchen, original wide natural wood planks from the 19th century in one bedroom, and high-quality new natural wood floorboards in the other rooms (please no street shoes inside the apartment).

Wi-Fi, coffee machine, TV, washing machine, bed linen, towels, toilet paper, soap, hair dryer, dish towels, iron, and smoke detector. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cutlery, glasses, pots, etc.
The building is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site âHistoric Centre of Salzburgâ and was thoroughly renovated in 2016 under strict heritage protection regulations. Here, you are staying in the very heart of Salzburgâs medieval Old Town while enjoying the comfort of modern living.

The Paterstöckl is located in a pedestrian zone. No parking is available, and access by private car is not permitted. However, a taxi can take you to within 50 meters of the house.
