Hurricane shelter

Had to get away from the storm surge, certainly wasn’t the reason we wanted to be in the villages. The house was perfect, very clean and well appointed.

Property even better than photos

The property was well appointed. Super clean. Well located for our needs. It would have been nice to use the amenities but I couldn’t justify 50 a piece per person for 4 days. The booking process was tantamount to applying for a mortgage..and the management company charges 5% on credit card tans

Great Place to Stay

This was a great place to stay, it is Clean, very well furnished and equipped. It has a central location in The Villages, although it has a golf cart we did not use it (maybe next time). The kitchen had plenty of spices for cooking except garlic powder. Our only issue was the mattress in the primary bedroom, the mattress needs to be replaced, we both could feel the springs, and my wife actually spent part of two nights sleeping on the sofa. If we come back this will be our first choice when looking for a place to stay.

Great family stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was wonderful except for the amount of millipedes. They are harmless but they were everywhere! Location was perfect, my parents live across the street and it was nice to be so close. Beautiful home, comfy beds, quiet street, close to the pool and square. Thanks for a great trip!
Svar från VrboOwner 3 dec. 2022
Unfortunately, for a short period of time out of year the millipedes can be a nuisance in Florida, but they are harmless. Thank you for the review and we are happy to hear that you enjoyed the home and had a wonderful vacation. We hope we can welcome you back with us again in the near future.

Summer Vacation 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had another wonderful vacation renting this property! It is everything one looks for, clean, stocked and conveniently located mainly to our parents but easily accessible to Sumpter and Brownwood Squares. We are looking forward to returning again next year and possibly sooner. Thank you Down Home Properties for an easy process to have the opportunity to vacation as if we were actually home. Very welcoming and comfortable.

A nice place, great time near family.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for our needs; close to family, very clean, nice golf cart to get us around and it had lots of extra things you may need. The kitchen is fully stocked if you plan to cook. We would rent again. The only issue we saw was there were worms (alive and dead throughout the home on the floor). One BIG bug also dead on the floor. The home needs to be sprayed outside.

Very clean, well maintained home in a great location for golf

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this is an excellent home in a very good location, especially if you are interested in playing golf. It also includes the use of a golf cart, which I used a lot, both to play golf and to just generally tour The Villages. My only issue is that the two car, plus golf cart garage is actually a one car garage, with golf cart garage because a van is stored in one of the car locations.

Fall Golf Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was in perfect condition as it has been several times in the past. Location puts us within easy driving ( provided cart) distance of town squares dining and golf courses. I would definitely rent this property again. The only irritant was that the wifi password listed in the packet that came with house, was incorrect and took several days to determine that the router had correct password. All in all an excellent stay.
Svar från VrboOwner 15 dec. 2022
Thank you for the wonderful review, we are happy to know you had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the home again. We apologize for the rough start with the wifi password issue. The correct password is now in the book and on the router.

This home had everything.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home had everything. Some homes we've rented haven't even provided a hair dryer but this owner provided two hair dryers. When they say the kitchen was completely stocked, they mean it. This home had everything. The only thing that I would have liked was the carpets were ready to be cleaned.
Svar från VrboOwner 6 maj 2023

Nice House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in excellent condition. Furniture is comfortable and spotless. The owners have provided everything one would need and then some. Kitchen is extremely well equipped. Plenty of closet space and drawers in the bedrooms. Our only complaints are the lanai is not private at all; it's like sitting on the lawn and the electric grill is slow and loses heat quickly.

Fall Golf 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was clean and in perfect shape as always. There was, however, a couple of items that might be worth mentioning. 1) the ceiling fan in master bedroom would not start under its own power without being assisted by hand. 2) looked as though some kind of hose was hanging down underneath the golf cart. These are not complaints, just making you aware. Great stay as usual.
Svar från VrboOwner 22 maj 2024
Thank you for letting us know!!! We are glad you had a great stay with us. The ceiling fan and hose hanging down underneath the golf cart were fixed back in November of 2023. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Great rental!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience was good! Three couples rented together and found the amenities and location very acceptable. We would suggest having TV's in more bedrooms. Filter in fridge could have been changed, water not too tasty. Coffee pot had hissy fits on occasion, but backup Kuerig was helpful. Lanai could have used screens certain times of the day. House was clean and easy to live in, and the owner was extremely attentive when we had difficulty with the wifi.
Svar från VrboOwner 6 maj 2023
Thank you for your review and suggestion about adding more TV's in the guest bedrooms. After the owner read your suggestion they went ahead and added TV's in each guest bedroom. The owner is also addressing the lanai screens you suggested on there next visit to the villages. Countryside Path- The Villages

The house was perfect. Loved the outdoor screened in porch. We had excellent weather and spent slot of time outside. The unit was fully furnished and I mean “fully”. Open floor plan allowed TV viewing for everyone. A great example of why someday we may move to the The Villages.
