The town of RĂ©gua is 10 km away. In the center of MesĂŁo Frio, 3 km away, there are several traditional Portuguese restaurants. The Douro Region, where the property is located, is world famous because of the quality of its wines. The landscape that enjoys several points of this parish is, in fact superb, especially the Miradouro do Lugar de Donsumil, from where you get a magnificent view over the vineyards and the Douro River. The Donsumil cookies are the ex-libris in the gastronomy of this parish. Every year, at the beginning of August, the pilgrimage takes place in honor of the patron saint of SĂŁo Mamede, in the Mother Church of Vila Marim.
