The Northernwood is an ideal cabin for the adventurous couple or family. Three bedrooms (two bedrooms with queen size beds and one with two twin beds), two baths, great room, washer/dryer, fireplace and outdoor fire pit all add to the comfort/charm of your north woods experience (firewood is not guaranteed, you can pick some up in town). Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, ice maker and microwave. Over three acres on a dead-end road provides you with privacy even though you are less than four miles from the quaint town of Mercer with its many shops, restaurants and other amenities. There is direct access to both snowmobile and ATV/UTV trails, and only 2 blocks from shared access to Spider Lake. Two single kayaks are also available for your use.

We had an excellent stay. The property had all the amenities that we needed. The cabin was big enough for our party of five and had plenty of room for our utv’s in the driveway. We would definitely stay again.

Overall a great stay. Great location, clean cabin, everything was very nice. My only comment is that the furniture, from the couches/chairs in livingroom to the beds were not very comfortable. But that was seriously not a big issue. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was clean when we arrived, the property met all our expectations based on the listing, and there were plenty of activities to do in the Mercer/ Minocqua/ surrounding areas. We had a blast!

We had a great stay at this cabin! It had everything that we needed for our stay, and plenty of room for our family of 5. We loved exploring the UTV trails in the area. We stayed for 3 nights and felt like we should have booked for a week! The hosts were great and check in was a breeze. Overall a great experience and vacation!

This was a nice cabin that was clean and stocked with about everything you might need. It was a bit smaller than expected but worked well for the 4 of us adults. They were very prompt at replying to messages. The basement carpet felt like it was damp so maybe could use a dehumidifier down there. There were cameras outside which seemed a little odd but I also can understand so they can keep an eye on their property. The part that we really didn't care for was we had people show up 3 different times throughout our 3 night stay. There was only 1 time we were notified someone would be stopping by. It almost felt like maybe they were checking in on us. We felt like since we had paid for a private cabin that no one would be stopping in. We hope for future guests they won't have people stopping by for things.

Cozy cabin feel, clean and organized, LOVE the deck area looking over the trees. Lots of birds and deer making visits throughout our stay. Close enough to town if you need anything, but far enough away to enjoy the sounds of nature.

Perfect Family Vacation

The cabin was beautiful and everything we wanted for a northwoods escape. It was private enough that we had our own space, but close enough to town for day trips and any food we forgot to bring.

Great family getaway spot!

We had a great time relaxing by the fire, playing loads of board games, cooking meals, and snowshoeing and skiing and the nearby trails. Very comfortable and quiet accommodations! We'd love to come back sometime.
