The building operates a centralized HVAC system in accordance with municipal regulations. Heating runs from October 13 to May 1, while air conditioning is available from May 15 to October 1. During seasonal transitions, HVAC adjustments are managed by the building association based on outdoor temperatures.

The location was great. We were able to walk to several decent restaurants, and I loved having a a Whole Foods right there for groceries. The pool was also good, warm, clean, and with a lifeguard at all times. The pool is 4ft deep throughout, though, so no “shallow end”. The hot tub was out of order. The building renovations mentioned in the listing weren’t a problem at all. The host was responsive through the VRBO app/platform, which was okay when the app/platform was working (not the host’s fault). But I had to reach out to ask for check in code (less than 12 hours before check in, still had not received it) and I also had to reach out to ask for check out procedures. The procedures themselves were simple, but usually the guest doesn’t have to reach out. They do not provide pool towels, but did provide an extra bath towel or two beyond one per guest they emailed me about. Listing was accurate about no washcloths provided. The washer/dryer was handy to have in the unit, but just be aware they aren’t full size.I think this property is maybe new to using VRBO? A few considerations. Maybe a folder inside with general check out procedures, general building information (like about the pool hours, the coffee bar downstairs, etc), a list of nearby restaurants, etc.? Also, the apartment was a little “bare bones”—not even a soap dish for the bathroom sink for the little soaps they provided. No dish rack to put hand washed dishes, and no dish towels, either. Would stay again.
