This beautiful villa boasts a fantastic location on the hills of an exclusive urbanisation and enjoys some of the very best uninterrupted sea views. Its privileged setting is made all the more special by a spectacular focal point across the Alboran Sea. The views follow the surrounding mountains, a valley flanked by wooded hills and open greenery of Golf Torrequebrada straight down to the sea. Playa de las Yucas is easy walking distance 750m away with cosy beachbars and several seaside dining-out options along the bay such as Angus, La Cala, Yucas, La Viborilla and Trocadero. The home is Southwest-orientated and is situated in an elevated position offering panoramic views of the coastline. The breathtaking views stretch over Torrequebrada Golf and the villas on the bordering hills towards the Mediterranean Sea and beyond to the African coast on clear days. The stunning Andalucian vegetation of the golf parklands abounds with hundreds of different trees, flowers and colours. All guests and visitors say this villa has the best views in the whole urbanization!
The outside of the property is just as impressive as the interior, with a large swimming-pool, covered and uncovered terraces and various seating areas. Lovely gardens and those unbeatable views combine to create a unique outdoor space. The swimming-pool is equipped with a heat pump with option to extend the swimming season October to May which will keep the water temperature around 25 degrees Celcius depending on weather conditions. During the warm summer months June-September we will not be running the pool heating/hot tub.
Built in the traditional Andalucian fashion with arches and pillars to create covered terraces as shelter for the hot summers, there has been put lots of detail in the decoration and furnishing of this elegant house. The villa itself epitomizes good taste, comfort and style and offers space and tranquility with panoramic coastal views from almost every room. This impression is confirmed when you step through the imposing front door. The volume and quality of the property are immediately evident. The entire estate is built against the slopes of the hills. The ground floor consists of a large living area, beginning with a double-height entry, a comfortable dining and sitting room complete with fireplace and glass sliding doors offering beautiful sea views and direct access to the ample covered terrace. The modern kitchen is large and welcoming, fully-fitted with everything guests may need during their stay, and has an additional breakfast and sitting area for added convenience, again with great sea views. On the same floor there is a guest toilet and two bedrooms with twin beds of which one with en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, the master bedroom suite is particularly beautiful, with an open dressing room, large en-suite bathroom and private terrace. Downstairs the lower ground floor hosts another bedroom with bathroom, separate guest toilet, utility room plus a gameroom with direct access to a second ample covered terrace and adjacent bar area with steps to garden and swimming-pool.
BenalmĂĄdena-Costa has many wide sandy beaches with cosy chiringuitos and shallow waters, perfect for swimming or snorkeling. The villa is backed by the Sierra de Mijas mountain range, and is therefore a perfect base for those interested in the good hiking and cycling routes in the area. The award winning harbour of BenalmĂĄdena, Puerto Marina, is home to a number of good shops, cafes and restaurants, whilst the nearby traditional villages of BenalmĂĄdena-Pueblo and Mijas-Pueblo or the beautiful, bustling city of MĂĄlaga make a perfect destination for a day out away from the beach. There are more than 40 very beautiful golf courses. The towns of Granada, Seville, CĂłrdoba, Ronda and Antequera are only a few hours away from your accommodation and the Sierra Nevada ski resort is only 125 km away. MĂĄlaga airport is only a 20 minute car drive away. 3 km away from the villa you will find the motorway and there is a direct train- and bus connection to Malaga. Marbella and the famous Puerto BanĂșs are only 50 kilometres away. You can visit the Sea Life Centre, home to many sea creatures and with its own childrenâs petting zoo. Or you might want to go for a walk and admire the glamorous luxury yachts. You can enjoy horseback riding and visit a raptor fair. The Colomares castle is also worth a visit.
