Our extented family of 17 had a wonderful stay at the beach house. The house had plenty of room for everyone with large gathering areas. The house was clean and there were plenty of extra blankets, linens, and pillows. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. but no spices. Also, beach towels are not provided so be sure to bring plenty of your own.The property managers were easy to get a hold of with the few questions we had.We enjoyed the beach and state park. The ice cream at the concession building is great.

Holbrook Family Fun & our 60th anniversary

The beach house is amazing & very comfortable! Plenty of room for our family of 16. We loved walking the beach & campfires! The kids enjoyed biking, kayaking, golfing & fishing! The wineries were fun also! It was very peaceful & time to relax!

Excellent Family Vacation House

Our family takes a trip to Lake Michigan every year! We will be renting this house next year because it had something for everyone. The beach, the deck, the large family spaces, plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone, etc. The only thing missing was warm summer weather but it didn’t stop our fun together!

A beautiful staycation

The property was beautiful and plenty of space for our large group to spread out. The beach is beautiful and a sprawling beach to take a walk down, outdoor fire-pit with lots of chairs available. We live in the area and used this as a family getaway for us and our of town family as well. Plenty of parking for everyone. It is a very special property.

AMAZING MEMORIES

The house is amazing, My husband and I used the property for ourselves and our wedding party. It fit 24 people amazingly! The host was amazing and very responsive and SO accommodating!! Just an amazing place to be and relax between all the wedding things. If I could give more stars I absolutely would!! I loved it here!

Wonderful escape

Our two families met from Minnesota and Pennsylvania. This was the perfect place to relax. The beach was pristine and perfect for young children. We will be back💗

Awesome family Homs!

Wonderful home for large family. From adults to teens to kids, it was perfect!!! Loved the beach access, fire pit and space within home!! Highly recommend it! Wish the Wi fi had been better.

5 yr anniversary.

We were married in the house 5yrs ago. At that time there wasn’t a beach there. It was rocks and water Couldn’t believe we could have a better time then 5yrs ago. We can’t express how this is a vac you can’t pass up. With the sunrises and sunsets, walks on beach. If it’s raining there is more than enough to do inside. By far the nicest place we have ever stayed. Quality the same 5 years later. Very clean and accommodating. Jim and Tara

Relaxing weekend away

Took a quick weekend getaway with family - 2 adults and 4 kiddos (ages 4-11) and 1 dog. Loved the easy beach access. We took multiple beach walks daily and kids had a blast collecting rocks, shells and sticks. Enjoyed the beach even though quite chilly out. View of the sunrises from the house were spectacular! Very relaxing and enjoyable weekend!

Never wanted to leave - can’t wait to go back

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Beach House with 10 of our friends as a last summer getaway, and this experience exceeded every expectation we had. The property is well kept, thoughtfully designed and curated for comfort (which is not always easy to do for large groups), and provided everything we needed and more for our 5 day stay. Tom and Rhonda were extremely communicative, responsive and helpful. Best of all, the location of this property made us feel like we had our very own stretch of private beach for a quarter mile or more, giving us a ton of privacy and space to setup lawn/beach games (I.e. sand volleyball). The finish job in the basement was done really well and the games downstairs were a fun touch! Truly cannot wait to go back and stay again. Stay here, and you will not be disappointed.

Perfect blue beach house getaway for large family!

To begin with the main attraction, Lake Michigan is your backyard! Very fun beach right with easy access right behind the house...shallow waters, private beach access and miles of soft white sands along the beach for kids to play and have morning and evening walks. You have a majestic sunrise view over the lake from the comfort of the backyard (don't miss it). About the house, it is very spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of 5 families (24 folks - kids to seniors). It is much bigger than it appears in the pictures. The house is very clean, well stocked with household items (kitchen, cleaning and bathroom) and activities(game room for kids with ping pong, fussball, lots of board games and poker table) Tom is a great good host, very respectful, helpful and easy to work with. Will definitely want to return!!

The property is as easy as it gets. Very comfortable with easy lake access and the deck over the lake is awesome, great place for dinner on moderate evenings. Feels like you own endless swaths of beach when you're at the water and the beach is pure sand, no rocks. Plenty of room to spread out on the inside. I want to come back but I have to know how persistent the problems below are. Two problems. The neighbor insists you kill all lights by 10:00 pm and he's a prick about it. He accused my wife, who doesn't drink, of being drunk when approaching us about our having the light on at 10:10 while we were finishing up a family tournament of bean bags. Pretty low noise coming from us and, oh, by the way, there's a lake pounding the shore 50 feet away making constant noise. If the temperature is around 80 degrees and there is an algae sheen on the water the fly's are absolutely vicious.

Great place for family reunion vacation

We loved our week at this house. It's right on the beach and the deck in the back yard overlooking the water was a favorite place for all. The beach itself is the northernmost end of Point Beach State Forest, but we hardly saw anyone else for the whole week we were there and felt like we had a private beach. There is an access path to the beach from the road at the boundary between the state forest and the house property, so you might see a few other beach users during your time there, but it’s a huge beach. Nicely stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, pots and pans and cooking utensils. Our group was large so we had to make use of couches but there were closets with extra sheets and towels. If you prefer cotton bedding you might want to bring your own if that’s an option. It seems like microfiber is much more prevalent now in rental places, and that was the case here. The yard was peaceful and shady, and very restful with Lake Michigan and the sound of the waves. We had some rain so didn’t get to use the fire pit more than one night, but the property managers provided wood for that. We hope to return some day! With our large group of 18 we needed a second place, and VRBO Property ID 67171 was just over 3 miles down the road toward Two Rivers. It’s a great place too, highly recommended.

Fabulous family reunion 2023

Fantastic property and the beach!! Wow. We couldn’t have asked for better weather so we spent most of our time outdoors. Lots to do with great seating accommodations indoor and outdoors. Our host was excellent, accommodating and kept us up to date. Thanks again- we are planning 2025 reunion and hoping for the same location!!

Wonderful Destination

The house and location were perfect for a large gathering of friends for a long weekend. The house was very clean, well maintained and set up to handle a large group. The location right on Lake Michigan is beautiful. Nice beach and easy access to hiking, state park and lighthouse. Two Rivers is also a convenient short trip and some interesting things to do there as well. The group agreed that the Beach House would be somewhere great to stay again. The owners were very communicative, helpful and easy to work with.
