Superior Lake - Underbar utsikt från vattnet hemma i Marquette

Sjönivåerna är höga och det finns för närvarande ingen strand. Öppen planlösning hem bara några meter från Lake Superior. Övre plan uteplats med trappor till vattnet. De två sovrummen är nere i korridoren och mittemot varandra. Båda rummen har stora garderober. Drottningsrummet har utsikt över sjön med skjutbar glasdörr till övre uteplatsen. Uteplatsen är enorm och har ett bord och stolar. Det andra sovrummet har en dubbelsäng och en dubbelsäng. Vardagsrummet och matsalen är ett stort område. Det finns 2 soffor och en kärleksstol. Sover bara 5. Köket har elektrisk spis, kyl, brödrost, mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, diskar etc och helt ny diskmaskin. Ny grill finns på däck på sommaren. Det finns en TV / DVD och filmer. Grundkabel (på sommaren). Det finns inget WiFi men kan ibland fånga min signal. Det finns många fantastiska restauranger och kaféer med gratis wifi också. Tvättstuga i källaren som delar det andra badrummet. Det finns inget badkar i hemmet - såvida du inte räknar Lake Superior! Två duschar totalt. Källaren används för vår förvaring. Vi har INTE kajaker. Jag kan rekommendera en lokal hyra.

Inga husdjur tillåtna på fastigheten. Detta inkluderar människor som besöker dig. Inga RV-anslutningar - ja vi har haft det här. Inga fester. INGEN RÖKNING någonstans i lokalerna.

På tal om saker att göra, det finns ett fantastiskt löpning / skidåkning / mountainbike trail system i Marquette känd som Noquemenon. Det finns också ett skidmaraton i samband med Noquemenon som är i januari. I närheten ligger också North Country Trail som går över hela landet. Det finns också så många snöskoterleder här att du inte kan göra allt på en resa. Spåren är alla preparerade. Det finns också en nedförsbacke som är väldigt kul. Förutom de trädbevuxna stigarna finns det en stenlagd cykelväg som går mil längs sjöstranden. Cykelvägen är 1/4 kilometer från vår hyra. Vi har verkligen en fantastisk plats, det är den bästa delen av denna hyra. Vi är cirka 2 mil från norra Michigan University.

Peaceful Retreat!

I can’t imagine anything better.

Amazing location and accommodations. Strongly recommend you crack the sliding glass door in the master suite and fall asleep and waking up to the sounds of the waves. Will absolutely be returning next year.

Great beach house!

My son, his wife and kids enjoyed staying at this VRBO. Being right on the Lake Superior beach is so fun. We enjoyed spending time in beautiful Marquette.

Lake Superior Beach!!!!!

The location can’t be beat! Right on Lake Superior, so close to downtown Marquette. But do note that neighbors are only a few feet away on both sides. This is in a very residential neighborhood, like you can see into neighboring houses, so if you’re looking for even a little bit of seclusion, this is not your place! But if you can get past that, it really is a gem, with everything you need for an amazing vaca! Incredible views of Mother Superior from the living area, kitchen and master bath, and heavenly breezes. Would stay again!

Love this beautiful place!

We fell in love with this beautiful home and property! Everything was very clean and well appointed. Nina and family are incredible hosts, and their communication was superb. We had a wonderful time staying here, and we are grateful for the experience. It was hard to leave for any reason but the location is close to so many things! Cozy, Calm & Comforting

This was our second time staying at this lovely home. We slept every night with the slider door open to the sounds of Lake Superior, and let me tell you, we’ve never slept better! Presque Isle is within walking distance and the views from any point are magical. There is an artist’s collective at the end of the road where you can shop and meet the artists themselves. The Ore Dock also sits at the end of the road. You can watch the big freighters come in for loading and hear the sound of the ore train throughout the day. Being from West Virginia, this place reminds me of my childhood and leaves my feeling energized in ways that words just can’t explain. If you’re looking to relax and unwind, then this is the place for you. Check in so you can check out! ❤️

Beautiful home right on Lake Superior

This home greeted you with a wall of windows looking out over Lake Superior just below the spacious deck. The beach was only a few short steps off the deck where you could walk in either direction in the soft sand. Neighborhood residents were friendly as we walked along the beach. Beautifully decorated and spacious. Only two bedrooms but three beds. Only downside was the entrance to the home with many steps. Would be difficult for persons who had trouble managing stairs. Also not wheelchair accessible.

Great to be on the beach!

We have family down the street, so kids loved being able to bike back and forth to see cousins!! We loved having access to the beach and being able to play in the waves of Lake Superior! Nina was always quick to respond, easy to reach, and accommodating. We will certainly be back!

Quiet Waterfront!

This is our second time staying here. We love that it’s on the water for a beach day, relaxing dinner on the deck or a peaceful sunset. The house feels private and quiet yet close to town. I love that the NTN trailhead is an easy warmup ride from the front door. The basketball net out front was a hit for my boys too. This house was perfect for our vacation.

Gorgeous views, great location and super property manager!

We love this rental and have been there 3 times now. Beautiful view and beach, walking access to presque isle, easy access to town and all surrounding attractions. Great host - very helpful and responsive.

The whole family made it for our daughter's graduation and this house was a perfect gathering spot for us. Close to town and also a lovely spot on the beach. Clean and comfortable and would love to stay here again!

Relaxing weekend

We stayed two days and two nights here and had a great time. We had hoped to get a peak of the Northern Lights, but it wasn’t in the cards. We hiked at the near state park. We loved the downtown area. We spent a lot of time sitting inside and looking out towards the beautiful Lake Superior. Nina was very easy to communicate with. The shower was the only down point as it had very low pressure but didn’t take away from us coming back to visit the area again soon.

Perfection

This home met all our expectations. Our hosts were lovely and attentive to anything we might need. The home was well stocked with supplies and even had some spices for cooking. The location of the Lake could not be beaten. We will return in the future for sure!

Quick stay

We weee in town for a race so we didn’t spend much time in the house. However, nothing beat the sound of Lake Superior and that view! House met our needs and we would certainly stay again.

Nina van den Ende är värd

I am from the Marquette area. Having gone to high school here and never moving away, I obviously love it here. We have 2 children so we know all the fun stuff to do with your kids if you bring them. I work as a nurse at a veterans home and my husband works for the local hospital. He is originally from the Detroit area but has been here for 20+ years. We live next door to the rental so we are usually around if you need anything.

This property is prime location in Marquette. My mother in law lived here until her passing years ago. It is a special place to us.

The location on the lake is why we fell in love with the home. The views are spectacular and so are walks on the beach. But yet we are in the city limits of Marquette.
