Masein - grey federations, lies in the east of Switzerland in the canton grey federations. The village Masein is located in 850m above sea level and is the first village above Thusis at the road to the moving and skiing areas up to 2180m height, all year round passably with passenger car and bus. The city Thusis is already on 720m height and is the district town at the Hinterrhein.

The busline Thusis - Heinzenberg to the skiing areas is only 50m far away from the apartment and leads to well prepared skiing runways (1300-2180m ). Exercise ski lifts for children as well as ski schools are present in the skiing areas at the Heinzenberg.
