Havsutsikt från en king size-säng

På morgonen njut av havsutsikten från v��rmen på din plysch specialkonstruerade king size-s��ng. Under dagen, låt tårna sjunka i de handvävda ullmattan som punkterar fastigheten och dra nytta av köket, komplett med bänkskivor i granit och rostfria vitvaror.

På kv��llen drar du över havsutsikten från vardagsdäcket innan du går in i det finstilta vardagsrummet för en konversation om dagens evenemang eller att titta på din favoritfilm p�� den stora platt-tv.

Båda sovrummen har madrasser med skummadrass, sängkläder i egyptisk bomull, ned-alternativa kuddar och stora platt-tv-apparater. Twin luftbäddar är ocks�� tillgängliga - vi finner att dessa är mer bekväma, lättare att hantera och mer mångsidigt än sovsoffor.

Njut av tid i den privata läshöget ligger i övervåningen sovrummet, som har fantastisk landskap / havsutsikt. Var inte f��rvånad över att hitta dig själv spendera timmar här, boka och glas vin i handen.

Båda sovrummen har anslutande badrum. På övervåningen, en dubbel fåfänga, överdimensionerad badkar och separat dusch erbjuder gott om utrymme att prep för en natt ute på stan, och på nedre badrummet har en badkar / dusch kombination.

Åtgärder till Atlanten på Kiawahs östra strand

Beläget bara 30 minuter från den historiska stadskärnan i Charleston på Kiawahs östra strand, ligger detta semesterboende idealiskt bel��get. Stranden är inte överraskande ett favoritmål - och härifrån är det bokstavligen steg till Atlanten. En kylare och strandhanddukar är bekvämt tillgängliga i Mariah. Allt du behöver göra är att ha det bra!

Utanför stranden, s��tta lite promenadskor och kolla de närliggande butiker och restauranger. Flera mil med cykelleden springer också över hela ön. hyra en cykel och få peddling!

Retreat

The space is beautiful, light, comforting, quiet. It is a little bit of a maze to get there and get everything up to the third floor, but once we settled in, we had a very lovely, relaxing, mindful, and peace-filled time.

Perfect spot on the beach!

This property has great views of the ocean and was just what we needed. We were close enough to the sand that we could walk on the beach in the mornings, come back for lunch and go out again to sit and watch the waves. The Ocean Course was gorgeous and we enjoyed visiting several on property restaurants as well as surrounding area restaurants, shopping and fresh seafood markets. We hope to visit again next summer!.

Week at the Mariah….

Overall, I’d call this one of the better VRBO options on Kiawah. Perfect location. Steps from the beach which is a MAJOR convenience advantage when packing all of your beach gear to and from. We would absolutely stay here again.

Location!

Beautiful, comfortable condo and can’t be beat location! The Lawsons were so easy to communicate with and the Mariah had everything we needed for a wonderful week. Beds were super comfy, too.

Perfect!

The stay at this Kiawah villa was perfect. It’s a short walk to the beach with the boardwalk to the beach very close by. The week we were there it was low tide during the day, and the beach was SO wide. The villa was beautifully decorated, VERY clean (and I’m pretty picky about that) with beautiful views of the ocean, especially from the upstairs bedroom. Also, nice touch with flowers, and some lights and music on when we arrived. The kitchen is very well equipped and very organized. We would definitely stay here again!

Warm and Cozy Villa!

This villa worked out great for our family of 4. Nicely decorated and had all the amenities needed for a weeks stay. Comfortable beds, pillows and bedding. I’m always happy to find some staple spices in the kitchen so I don’t need to run to the store. View of the ocean was wonderful and the villa is situated in a nice central location on the island. The owners are very easy to communicate with and we’re very helpful when answering questions about the property and are very familiar with the island itself. Would definitely stay again.

The Mariah was exactly what was in the pictures. Jeanette with Kiawah Island Getaways was awesome to work with. When we arrived, it felt as if they were awaiting our arrival.

Perfect location

Wonderful place for our family of 4 ( grown children in their 20’s). Close to the beach. Nice views of the ocean from upper level master. Very comfortable beds. Host was very helpful pre and post stay. Provided helpful info through out. Check in and out process easy. Highly recommend!! Very clean as well.

Great location although in a more crowded beach area on Kiawah. The condo was nice and well stocked

This condo had a nice view but only from upper bedroom. It was well appointed although the king beds were in rooms very tight for the space. The 1st floor room has poor lighting and the beds were too soft , but ok. I do not feel the property is a value at the price compared to other properties we have rented on Kiawah over the past 20 years. I prefer the less populated areas of the beach, hower this would be good for individuals who have access to the Night heron pool and play grounds.

Clean and great location

Very clean. Great location to the beach. Great customer service with property manager. Small balcony which was not an issue with us but would be if you were needing a good souse balcony. Overall 5 stars.

Just what the Dr. ordered

This home was perfect and met our expectations with ease. The home was nicely furnished with modern furnishings. The kitchen had everything you could possible need for eating at home including some spices and oils. They had more than enough towels and linens and the beach towels was an added plus. The beach was beautiful and clean with an easy walking distance to the Sanctuary and the small convenient store. If you are a golfer the island doesn't fall short on golf courses (7 I think). And the washer and dryer came in very handy. I would recommend this location for a romantic get away or 2 couples or a small family. Thank you very much for letting us enjoy you lovely home.

Spring Breakers from Kentucky

The villa lived up to our expectations and them some. It was easy getting onto the island with our printed guest pass, and was a beautiful, scenic drive to the villa. We couldn't believe how quite it was all over the island! The villa was located on the 3rd floor and we never once had to wait for the elevator. As soon as we walked into the villa, we were met with a pleasant fragrance, lights on, peaceful music playing and just a very inviting atmosphere. The size of the villa was perfect for our party of 6, which included 3 children. What was most helpful was that the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, so you don't have to buy all those extra things that you only need for the stay - salt and pepper, sugar, dish soap, paper towels, etc. Everything was very neat and labeled really well. The decorations were beautiful and felt unique to the space. And the beds...they were so plush and comfortable, from the sheets to the pillows and duvet. There were also toys, games and DVD's supplied, which was nice for the kids. We found the Freshfields village pretty quickly and dined there 2 nights out of the week, as well as picked up groceries. The drive was only about 5-10 mins from the villa. We never used the Night Heron park pool, but it was very close, and we were told that it was heated. We did take the kids to the Night Heron park and nature center, which was only about a 10 min walk from the villa. We drove to Charleston one day, and the only traffic we experienced was on our drive back around 4 pm, but it moved fairly quickly. Overall the villa was immaculate, well maintained and organized and very homey. We were pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was all over the island. One thing to note, bring bikes if you can! It was too hard for us to get the entire family a bike to ride, considering our 4 year old can't ride a bike yet, but we would have loved to take advantage of all the lovely bike paths. So, if you're looking for a peaceful destination with beautiful surroundings, Kiawah Island and the Mariah are perfect for you! We would come back in a heart beat.

Almost everything

Nice and clean. The owners and managers are very organized and everything was done as promised. Only complaint would be the very soft master bed. If you don't mind, you have lovely views. Also, if you need strollers, be prpared to carry them upnthe first flight. I think all places on the island have the same issue.

About Property Managers/Owners, Shawn and Jeanette Lawson (Kiawah Island Getaways):

Shawn's family discovered Kiawah in 1978 and returned year after year for two-week vacations. In 1985 we drove our VW Bug convertible to Kiawah and Shawn introduced me to Kiawah. I remember stepping over the dune boardwalk out in front of the Kiawah Island Inn and seeing Kiawah's wide, sandy beach for the first time - it was so brilliant it practically danced before my eyes. It was during this vacation that the two of us decided to set our sights on moving to this beautiful and fascinating place permanently.

In 1988 our dreams came true and our U-Haul rattled across the Kiawah Island bridge (at that time it was nothing more than a wood-planked bridge). For the next four years we rented a 1-bedroom villa, 4251 Mariner's Watch. Shawn was so thrilled to be living on the island that he applied for the personalized South Carolina license plate 'KIAWAH' (which we still have today).

In 1992, we built our first home on the island at 134 Conifer Lane. During construction, I gave birth to our first son Benjamin - he arrived 2 months early in an ambulance outside of the Kiawah Island Fire Station.

In 2001, we purchased our first villa, a 1-bedroom, beachside Seascape and Kiawah Island Getaways was born. Once we got our feet wet with the villa rental business, it was a like a fever for us. We both really enjoyed furnishing, decorating and maintaining the villas - not to mention the new found fun of meeting and talking to all sorts of people about Kiawah. Because we really enjoy what we do, other Kiawah property owners noticed and we started managing their properties as well.

Our whole family loves Kiawah and running Kiawah Island Getaways is a true family-run business. We personally prepare each villa prior to your arrival - because we want your stay to be perfect. We want you to fall in love with Kiawah too...and we know you will.
