Directly on the beaches Los Lagos and Marfolin de Cotillo and La Concha Playa. 10 minutes walk to the centre of El Cotillo and to a great selection of bars and restaurants as well as many shopping facilities.
From the airport 35-40 km by single (45) - shared transfer (12), taxi (50) or hire car (from 20 per day). Everything you need is within walking distance and easy to reach. Great restaurants and bars all within walking distance and of course the town centre and old and new harbour. Surf spots and calm waters for children, all close by or right on the doorstep. We are right on the beach and the sea.
Very quiet, friendly neighbours. Owners usually Spanish. Only we as Germans. Lots of German families with children on and off holiday. We have two other flats there in different locations.
Large terrace with dining table and chairs, hammock and deckchairs.
We spend a lot of energy and energy on cleaning and maintenance. You will feel at home with us, we look forward to welcoming you as our guest!

El Cotillo offers beautiful beaches. From quiet lagoons with white sand, or a bay with waves for swimming & surfing, it has it all!
The flat
The approx. 40 square metre flat is accessed via the spacious terrace. The flat consists of a living/dining room (2 beds for children/teenagers) with a fully equipped kitchenette. Next to it is the bedroom with a large wardrobe and the bathroom with shower, WC, washbasin and washing machine.
Urbanización LOS LAGOS
The small settlement in which the "Balcon de Cotillo" flats were built is about a ten-minute walk from the "centre". The bright white houses were lovingly built here in the typical Canary Islands style. Due to the "privatisation" and the associated change in the management structure, a lot has been invested in the renovation of the complex, which is surrounded by well-tended gardens with palm trees, oleanders, hibiscus and cacti. The complex, which is truly unique in its entirety and is located directly on the beach and the sea, is now in a correspondingly TOP position.
The destination El Cotillo
El Cotillo, the original coastal town in the north-west of Fuerteventura, is far away from the hustle and bustle. Fishermen, individual tourists and wealthy majoreros, who have built their second homes here, meet in the alleyways of the old harbour district. The charming little town of Cotillo is known as a paradise for surf cracks, high waves and good wind conditions. An alternative surf scene has established itself in El Cotillo, always on the lookout for new challenges. There are ideal conditions for windsurfing, kitesurfing and traditional surfing. A small supermarket (delicious breakfast rolls/baguettes!) and other shops are just a 4 to 5-minute walk from the flat. A larger supermarket, a bank, numerous restaurants and bars, a laundry and other facilities can be found in the village of El Cotillo. There is also a small restaurant and a surf school on the edge of the complex.
The sea and the beach
You can reach the beach and the sea directly from the flat in just a few seconds via a private path in the complex.
The "Playa de Los Lagos de Cotillo" or "Playa La Concha", with its quiet and unspoilt beach bays, lies to the north of El Cotillo in the direction of the Faro del Tostón lighthouse. The light sandy and fine sandy beach offers optimal bathing pleasure. Thanks to its shallow bays and the calm sea, it is ideal for a beach visit with children. The tide comes in and out twice a day. During low tide, small children can play safely at ankle-high water levels. Older children can wade a few metres into the sea and start swimming. Children and teenagers will find an almost inexhaustible natural "playground" where they can give free rein to their creativity and urge to move. There are more bays to the north. Those seeking peace and quiet will appreciate the unspoilt bays, the small windbreak castles built from black natural stone and the sections with a varied landscape of dunes and dark volcanic rocks in front of the white beach. Just a few minutes away is the neighbouring beach of La Concha and a beach restaurant. From there, a small tarmac road leads to the Faro del Tostón, the fishing museum and another surf spot. South of El Cotillo, approx. 8 minutes by car, white water fans and surfers will get their money's worth at "Piedra Playa". and there is something for everyone!
On Fuerteventura there is usually a more or less fresh wind, so that you can quickly get coloured unnoticed and good sun protection is recommended!
