Great :location and Quiet Nature Surroundings

The porches were nice to sit outside and lots of walking areas. Quiet area and very clean accommodations. Loved the washer/dryer and spacious dining area.

It was the perfect place for our anniversary get-away! Very clean and comfortable and just as described. So close to the beach and several nice restaurants. Will definitely stay there again!

Good Location

Good location for exploring Port St. Joe and surrounding areas. Especially enjoyed being close to Windmark Beach ( just a 2 mile drive away) with nice walking path! We were fortunate to have nice weather to enjoy the pool!

Disappointed in this particular property unit!!

I have stayed at Barefoot before under a different owner and I am from the area so know this location very well is why I chose to stay again. However, I was very disappointed upon arrival when walking up to the entry and porch area, the overall appearance on the outside was dark and did not look like what was pictured on the website (photos are very old) the porch needed pressure washing, spider webs everywhere and the screen door did not latch or stay closed. Upon entering the townhome, I immediately noticed the blue sofa had large terrible stains on the sofa, so I took photos to have proof it was in this condition. I had to keep it covered to sit on it, it was so stained. After arrival and seeing the condition I immediately reached out to the owners and they were aware of the dirty sofa which was concerning. There were several other issues mainly the upkeep and maintenance of this unit as a whole. The unit needed a deep clean, the furniture and colors were very dark and depressing being in a Coastal community, and it was like visiting your grandmother's style old furnishings. The upstairs balcony door did not open so could not use the balcony. They had an old, rusted AC window unit in one bedroom that was in terrible shape. Windows had water stains. We had to change the AC filter of the central unit, it was not dirty, and an old filter was lying in the AC closet on the floor. We stayed because we could not get our money refunded to go to another unit. Very disappointed!!!

Spring Break

Great property! Loved being in a gated community with a pool. Nice quiet neighborhood. Cottage was perfect and clean and exactly what we wanted. Location is perfect too, close to Mexico Beach and Port St Joe. Would definitely recommend!

Roomy cottage and very attentive owner

Listing was exactly as described. It was clean and beds were comfortable. We had an issue with ice maker and Gregg came quickly with 2 bags of ice for us. Kitchen was fully equipped with anything you may need to cook a meal. We spent 2 days at T.H. Stone Park that Gregg recommended and it was beautiful. I highly recommend staying here.

Mini vacation

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Barefoot cottages. We initially had issues with the keypad and the door unlocking and locking but once we spoke with Mr. Greg and he talked us through changing the batteries it was smooth sailing from then on out. The only other thing we had is so with we weren’t able to open the door to go out on the upper deck to sit and relax. But overall we were very pleased and had a great time. We look forward to possibly doing this again in the future.
