The house was definitely a rental. Furniture was very used. Neither the refrigerator or ice make was working and maintenance had to bring bags of ice after I inquired how to make ice and they would not admit it was not workingThe garage door key pad did not work, or the directions were poorly described.It was definitely not worth the money compared to other rentals we have had.

Kathy- We hope that anyone reading this review, would first go and read all of our other reviews! This house is beautiful and was just remodeled! Everyone who stays at this property loves it! When you arrived, you let us know about the ice maker. It had just went out, as it was working fine for the guests before you. We immediately had our team bring you 4 large bags of ice! When we brought you the bags, you were very grateful and seemed to be enjoying your stay. We have already replaced the ice maker with a brand new one! Furniture is NOT used. All living room furniture is brand new! I would be interested to know which piece of furniture you are referring to... all of our photos are accurate! The garage code pad just needs a simple reset, if you would have let me know, I would have been happy to have someone reset that. These are simple, easy things that happen with any home. This home is definitely worth the money- as seen in other reviews! The views and home are gorgeous! I hate that you didn't enjoy your time (maybe it was just you) because when our maintenance team came to bring you ice, everyone else in your group was having a fabulous time! This review was not justified by a broken ice maker and a garage key pad not working properly... In the future, communicate with hosts during your stay, as these are simple fixes that could have been handled immediately.

Great place with a 180 degree view of the lake from inside. Seven bathrooms, not two as the site describes. We hope to stay there again one day.

We had an amazing stay. The house is big enough for multiple families, and it had everything we needed. Such a beautiful view of the lake. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for our annual sibling Christmas with all of our families and this house is just amazing! The views are incredible throughout the house! If you are looking for a family oriented house, look no further, this has it all!

The property was even more beautiful than pictured. Fantastic amenities and location. We had a couple of issues, and the property manager was somewhat condescending, but we were able to work things out. I would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it for large groups.

Someone from your group did apologize as they had called our management staff one night slightly intoxicated, which may have been part of the confusion. Sorry for anything that may have came across as such. That was certainly not the intent. Come back anytime!

Great house and location

We have stayed at this location and others owned by the same owner for 7-8 years or so. Great house, location, and well kept up. We will be staying here next year also!

We had a really nice stay at this property overall. Although we were out and about most of the day and didn’t get to enjoy everything the home offers, we absolutely loved the beautiful lake view—it truly made the experience special and relaxing when we were there.Simply put, we loved it!!!! The house itself is very spacious and well set up for groups or families. There’s plenty to do on-site, especially with the game room and theater, which are great touches for entertainment and downtime. Another highlight was the pontoon boat—such a fun bonus and a great way to enjoy the water and scenery.All in all, it’s a great place and absolutely worth booking, especially if you’re looking for a roomy, scenic getaway with built-in activities. We would definitely look to rent this property again!

We had such a wonderful stay at The Pointe on Lake Oconee. The house was perfection and the views were unmatched. The host was super responsive and helpful all along the way. We had everything we needed for the weekend in the house. Amenities were excellent (theatre, boat rental, games, kitchen items, fire pit). Would absolutely rent this home again!

Great Company Retreat

We held a small company retreat at The Pointe and it was perfect for our group. We had plenty of room to relax and spend some out of the office time together.
