Två sovrum plus Den, Tall Timbers Cottage är mysig att sova 8. Du hittar ett obefläckat hem på samma nivå tvärs över gatan från floden Potomac med en servitut till vattnet. Mindre än 2 timmar från DC är den här egenskapen perfekt för en snabb bortflykt. Fullständigt renoverat med en fantastisk utsikt över skogen och solnedgångar över floden Potomac. Vi älskar att titta på nattljuset i Virginia och överflödet av vilda djur. Välutbildade artiga husdjur välkomnas med skriftligt förhandsgodkännande.

Moderna och året runt denna reträtt är utrustad med smarta TV-apparater, kabel, Netflix, Wi-Fi, dockningsstationer, samt sängkläder och andra saker du kan förvänta dig i ett välutrustat hem, inklusive cyklar, pussel och Keurig-kaffe tillverkare.

Två av de tre sovrummen är utrustade med bekväma queen-size-sängar, det tredje är inbyggt som ett höl med öppen spis och soffa (dubbel). Bäddsoffan i vardagsrummet drar ut till en bekväm plats att sova också.

Ett vattentillträdesgaller går från vår tröskel till Potomac River skott. Centralvärmen och central AC är alltid bekväma. Dessutom finns det en utomhus eldstad för de två elektriska eldstäderna. Alla fönster är skärmade och öppna om du vill känna brisen från floden och lyssna på fågelnsång på våren.

Fiske och krabba efter våra berömda Maryland Blue Crabs är en populär aktivitet. Tall Timbers Private Beach Club ligger också en kort promenad från stugan. Byn Tall Timbers och Marina är båda en lätt promenad.

Stränderna, hamnen, fyren och bron vid Piney Point och St. George's Island är en kort bilresa. Vi hjälper dig gärna med att boka fiskecharter eller kryssa Potomac med en kvalificerad vattendragare. Ligger femton miles med bil från Historic St. Mary's City (Marylands Colonial Capitol från 1634) är vi bara två timmar från District of Columbia.

Tall Timbers, gemenskapen, är faktiskt en glömd Marylandskatt där tiden står stilla. Den består av två rader med hus belägna mellan Potomac-floden och tät timmerskog. Relaxing cottage stay

We had a wonderful experience and stay at this cute little cottage. Hosts were amazing as well. Cottage has everything you need. Cute decor, plenty of cookware, towels, linens, TV with streaming and comfortable couch. Communication with host was outstanding and easy check-in and check-out. Will definitely stay here again and strongly recommend to others as a place to stay in the area.

Weekend getaway

We had some hiccups with a storm taking out the power (and subsequently water, cable/internet) for the first 24 hours of our stay. The property manager kept us updated and helped by providing water. Frustrating and inconvenient situation, but not at fault of the host or property managment!As for the house, it was cozy with adequate space for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. It was well equipped and had everyrhing we needed and was situated in a great little neighborhood on the Potomac. We were in town for a swim meet, but would definitely come back for a quiet getaway to rest, relax and enjoy all the area has to offer.

We used the house minimally for sleeping overnight during a family reunion trip and it was great for that purpose. Everything was immaculately clean and organized. The owner communicated with us about everything we needed to know and was so attentive to addressing anything we had a hard time with quickly. Rob and Lolly were so friendly and welcoming. Pros:- amazing books and cds collection as well as board games. - plenty of room to store shoes. - everything is stocked. There’s plenty of pot, pans, sponges, soap, detergents for all machines, toilet paper, shampoos, …. Etc. Cons:- when used at maximum capacity storage can feel a bit limited. We were 6 adults and 2 kids, and we mostly had to keep our stuff in our luggage the entire time. - the outdoor area is gorgeous but there’s a lot of mosquitoes because of the many trees.

Tall Timbers Cottage

This was our second stay to visit family nearby for our annual 4th of July gathering. The cottage is clean, cozy, and comfortable. The owners are fantastic communicators and made sure we had everything we needed. We won’t hesitate to stay again in the future.

Lolly and Lindley are wonderful hosts, and very responsive to an inquiry I had a 10PM. I wasn't expecting a response until the morning, but was pleasantly surprised when my phone rang! Will stay here again!

Family Gathering

This is a wonderful special place Tall Timbers, this house was lovely and perfect for our visit. The Lindley’s were very helpful and quickly responded to any communications. Wonderful place, if you have the chance to get away to this is a great place to stay.

Very nice property. Beautiful area.

We spent two nights with kids. Great for social distancing. Marina was great too. The beach is not for swimming with kids, but Point Lookout is about 40 minutes drive and family friendly.

Great cottage and fantastic owners

I recently spent a weekend at this property with my family and my 2 dogs. The cottage is a little jewel that exceeded our expectations. Super clean, comfortable beds, powerful AC, fully stocked kitchen, WI-FI, etc. The communication with the owners was perfect. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Cute cottage

This cottage is cute. The beach is more accessible via car - unless you're willing to walk through other people's back yard/pier. The dining table is great for entertaining. The rooms are a little tight but functional. Ideally a good place to rent for parents with 2-4 kids. Good and safe neighborhood.

Relaxing getaway!

Excellent experience from start to finish. Owner was communicative, welcoming and very helpful. Property in a very quiet neighborhood with amazing views of the Potomac River right across the street from the house (you can walk over and stand by river to see gorgeous views especially at sunset). Property is as described. Very clean, fully equipped kitchen, linens and towels provided. Lovely cottage - perfect size for our family of four plus our dog.

This Tall Timbers bungalow delivers

I cannot say enough positive things about this rental. The home itself is adorable and exactly as represented in the photos attached to the owners' description. Tall Timbers itself is a tiny sleepy, waterfront community in a beautiful area of southern Maryland. We were there off-season so the marina and other area attractions were closed, but it was still a relaxing getaway. The owners are fantastic and very communicative and helpful. It is clear they take great pride in this property and enjoy "meeting" those who come to stay.

We stayed at this home Ju...

We stayed at this home June 2006 for two weeks. It was everything we were looking for in a vaca home. We have been coming to the the area for over 4 years and were tired of hotels. This was home away from home. Peaceful, friendly neighbors and very relaxing. It is a short drive to many attractions ie: Lookout Point, Solomon's Island, Historic St. Mary's City, Clavert Cliffs and much more. We are looking forward to our next vaca in Maryland and hope to rent the house again. I would highly recommend this property to everyone who would be coming to St. Mary's County on work, vaca or some R&R.

Relaxing weekend

Lolly and Lindley's place was perfect for our family of 4, for a peaceful, relaxing weekend away from the city. There are many fun day trips, including an affordable boat tour from the Calvert Marine Museum. Make sure to try Kim’s Key Lime Pies and Lotus Kitchen on Solomons Island. I think there's a few breweries and wineries in the area as well. If you're coming from the DC area, think about taking a different route there and back for more scenery. The house itself was also charming, clean and the perfect size. Thanks again, Jennifer

Beautiful, low key getaway!

We booked last minute when we saw there was a cancellation over a holiday weekend. Lolly was super responsive and helpful, and the house was adorable, convenient, and just what we were looking for. Tall Timbers is made for families, and the little beach and kid-friendly marina restaurant were perfect for our toddler. We had a problem with the cable- which we only cared about because it was raining!- and Lolly called and helped us work if out. We never did get the Internet working, but we played outside and didn't mind since we were having so much fun as a family. The house has everything you need, the kitchen has all the extras, and the only thing we'd recommend is stopping for groceries on your way in.

Great Cottage in Tall Timbers

This property was all we could have asked for and more. We (mom, dad, 7 month old, and dog) stayed in this cottage for 6 weeks while our house was being finished and it was absolutely amazing. First off Tall Timbers is such a great little community. All of the neighbors were extremely friendly and welcoming. The marina down the road and the restaurant are amazing and such a great place to hang out. The cottage itself was just the right size for our extended 6 week stay. We were not walking all over each other and we did not rent a house that was so big that we were waisting money. It has everything you could need in it from wifi to pretty much every kitchen gadget you would need. It was very clean and everything worked. I literally cannot think of one bad thing to write about it. We were not able to utilize some of the outdoor amenities that were provided just due to the weather being too cool. Finally the owners are absolutely amazing. They were very accommodating with our unique situation and were very responsive whenever we had an issue or question. I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a little getaway in Southern MD. I would stay there again in a heartbeat if I wasn't living 30 min away. Book now and don't miss out on this amazing gem.

Quaint cottage in a charming community

The property amenities are outstanding - the kitchen and bath are well stocked, the grounds are lovely with a terrific grill, the beds are comfortable, and the cottage is very clean and orderly. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We all had an incredible time.

Lovely cottage

We found this property to be a lovely, comfortable cottage with a kitchen fully stocked with all the kitchenware and household supplies that we needed for our stay. The owners are very professional and quickly responded to any questions we had. The area is quiet and close to the water and I would highly recommend this property if you are looking to stay in the Southern Maryland area.

Lovely Home and Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tall Timbers. The home was lovely and had everything we needed. The shower is beautiful. The kitchen is set up for some serious cooking. We would love to stay again when we visit our old home.
