Located in Saint-Mathieu within the PĂ©rigord-Limousin Regional Natural Park, this 82 sqm vacation home welcomes up to 3 guests. You will find 1 bedroom with a large bed and 1 bathroom with shower, sink, bidet, and separate toilet. The living area features baroque and empire style furnishings with an alcove containing a convertible sofa for 1 person. Your modern kitchen opens through French doors and includes an induction cooktop with integrated oven, microwave, small oven, electric coffee maker, refrigerator, and dining table for 8. Amenities include TV, washing machine, and dryer. Bed linens and towels are provided.
Step outside to your private garden surrounded by century-old linden trees, hydrangeas, albizias, tulip trees, holly, mock orange, and laurels. The property sits in a peaceful courtyard setting at the end of a maintained driveway, offering complete privacy with no overlooking neighbors. You will find an old well, stone trough, and granite barn on the grounds.
Shared parking is available both at the property and in a garage. Events are not permitted. The hosts live on-site in a separate villa but not in your accommodation.
Best accessed by car due to unpaved roads leading to the property. A small town with shops, pharmacy, and bakery is 1.5 km away. The 14-hectare lake with supervised swimming and restaurants is 7 minutes away, as is the remarkable trees site of Peyrassoulat. The famous Piégut market operates on Wednesdays, 20 minutes away. You are ideally positioned at the gateway to Charente and Dordogne regions with numerous castles and tourist sites nearby.
