Detta är ett underbart hus som är perfekt för familjeflugan. Beläget i ett lugnt och trevligt kvarter, bara 3 kvarter, med enkel tillgång till stranden! Njut av fiske och crabbing i Garibaldi. Beroende på säsongen kan du köpa färsk botten fisk, lax och krabbor där också !! Huset har 2 sovrum. Den första med en ny queen size-säng, och den andra med en full och dubbelsäng. En rulla säng och bäddsoffa finns om flera sängar krävs. En tvättmaskin och torktumlare i tvättstugan är till nytta om alltför många kläder blir smutsiga på stranden. Köket levereras med bestick, porslin, riskokare, kaffebryggare, mikrovågsugn och brödrost. Huset är nyligen målade inuti och utomhus. Huset kommer med kabel-TV, DVD-spelare, en mängd olika videofilmer, Wi-Fi och brädspel i garderoben.
En vacker däck i ryggen är perfekt för att slappa på varma kvällar. En grillgrill finns för utomhusgrillning.

Great little house just a short walk to the beach

This house was a comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed the movie library and Wifi and the short walk to the beach. We would stay there again if in the area.

Wonderful stay

The property was just as expected from the pictures and description. It was very comfortable and clean and everything we needed was provided. We loved the neighborhood and location was great for beach access and walking to town.

Location Location Location

Great location for exploring the Oregon coast. Easy driving to both north and south locations. Rockaway beach is a 4 minute drive. The house is well equipped and very comfortable.

Great place

The closeness to the beach is awesome. Rockaway is a cute little town. Well stocked with the essentials. Awesome film selections for the rainy days. We will be back.

Great beach access!

The house is a bit dated, but it is clean and provides everything you need for your stay. Including a fantastic movie selection, that we were very happy to see! Also, the location to the beach is superb! Thank you for offering your house to us!

Clean, wonderful little get-a-away

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this little house rental on the southernmost end of Rockaway beach. Most of the crowds were further north, and the beach was easy to walk to (especially with the crosswalk with warning lights that enabled us to get across highway 101 without incident). We appreciated Ruth's hospitality and responsiveness to our questions prior to check-in, and the house was clean and properly represented by the photos. Great stay!

Great Location!

This was the perfect central location for us to tour the coast. The walk to the beach was short and it’s also really close to the Big Cedar boardwalk. The house itself is dated and a little musty at first, but clean. There aren’t any beach toys or beach towels - these would be great to add for future guests.

I would like to own the house

I really liked staying at the property. It was easy to get to only two blocks off of the main highway. The house was laid out nicely there was plenty of room and we had everything that we needed and it even had a 65 inch TV I was impressed. I have been to Rockaway Beach before and stayed at other places and the location of this house was perfect for me to go to all my favorite places. I would love to stay at this place again.

Fair Price for the great location and nothing fancy house

We were happy with the cleanliness of this little house. It was the accommodation we needed to enjoy the coast affordably. Nothing fancy but there were loads of movies. We spent most of the time walking the beach and the nature boardwalk. Unfortunately the house is struggling with ants—I only saw a few while we were there but they got into our clothing bags in the bedroom and we brought some home.

I booked a quick get away for my 2 teens and myself for spring break. We booked for 2 nights, arrived after dark Monday night to a very hot musty smelling house, and feeling like I stepped into the 60's as far as the furniture. I turned off the heat and opened all windows for circulation. I was hoping with the alleged short walk to the beach to head out quickly while boys were sleeping. It's 2 blocks to main intersection then 2 blocks over. Arrived back at house, turn on lights and notice ants. Not only were they trailing up the wall to the window in the family room, they were on the bedside table in master and a few had hopped onto the bed, and also in the other bedroom. Between the ants and no functioning microwave, (I got away from home to rest and not cook) we left a day early. Now, I'm attempting to get partially reimbursed for the night we did not stay, VRBO is telling me the host told VRBO their cleaning lady gave me ant traps and spray. I don't think any more words are needed to summarize the hassle booking with this host has caused me. Our quick 2 night get away ended after one night and back to Portland it was. I have occasional ants in my own property, weather dependent and extra rain pushed them in.. but in my sheets? That's how bad they were. We would not recommend staying in this dated musty not the cleanest property

Quiet area!

We all enjoyed the house rental! We would like to see that a new mattress be replaced in the master bedroom. Also, having Wi-Fi for the teenagers & young adults would make life smoother...! (Wi-Fi is their lifeline to connections with friends even on vacay)!

Clean but

Very clean property. Several things that could be improved upon include a stuck front door. Also whenever a person comes into the house, there is the smell of an old place. Maybe the carpets need to be shampooed. After a person is in the house for awhile, you don't smell it. However when you leave and come back in, the smell is there. It is quite strong.

Great location for our purpose

Stayed 3 nights. Needed a central location for hiking south and north. Near the main "strip" (my daughter and I walked to it one evening) and beach. Beautiful beach. The house was comfortable. It's a beach house so make sure you come well stocked. There was very little in the fridge in terms of staples as well as dry goods. We have stayed at many VRBOs and this was the most limited. As well as bathroom staples. It was just a minor thing but note that.Unfortunately, it was not the cleanest VRBO on arrival (and we stay at a lot). There was hair in the tub and it just didn't seem like a cleaning crew came through. We are very low maintenance so it was no big deal. Overall, I would recommend the property

Needs new furniture, but nice neighborhood and close to the beach.

This house is fine if you know what you're getting. We stayed with our family of 5 looking for somewhere close to the beach and central enough for day trips. The good: It's a short walk to the beach. We took advantage of this several times. Rockaway beach is a cute town with restaurants and grocery stores. Overall it's pretty clean and in a quiet neighborhood. They have a good selection of movies and games for if you get a rainy day during your trip The bad: The furniture is terrible. The couch has no back support at all. It needs to be replaced. The beds in the second bedroom are old and uncomfortable. If you only have kids sleeping there it will be ok. I slept in the bed because the kids got scared at night and it was bad. Every time you move the bed cracks and creaks.
