Beachfront Stuga pÄ Lake Michigan! Fantastisk utsikt, Privat instÀllning, avkopplande dagar

Upplev Lake Michigan som det brukade vara! KÀrleksfullt restaurerade 1930 strandnÀra stuga, som ligger i ett lugnt bostadsomrÄde. Stugan ligger pÄ en trÀdbevuxen dubbel mycket inbÀddat pÄ en sanddyn inför Lake Michigan. Det finns en privat trappa som leder till nÀstan 200 fot privat strand.

Bara 6 miles söder om Grand Haven men en vÀrld bort. Vakna upp till ljudet av fÄglar och smutta kaffe medan du tittar pÄ bÄtarna som seglar förbi, njuta av solnedgÄngen middagar hemma i screening i veranda eller pÄ utsidan uteplatsen dÀck, sedan somna till ljudet av vÄgorna.

The Cottage erbjuder gratis Wi-Fi, ett nyrenoverat kök med en grind och brygga kaffebryggare, spis, mikrovÄgsugn, kylskÄp och skafferi omrÄde.

Matsalen har bankett sittplatser. En charmig antik valnöt bord Àr perfekt för familjens mat eller en omgÄng Scrabble.

4 pers bekvÀmt. Det finns ett sovrum med dubbelsÀng och en soffa i vardagsrummet som konverterar till en dubbelsÀng. En förpackning-and-play finns tillgÀnglig pÄ begÀran.

Stugan har ett badrum med duschkabin. Det finns ocksÄ en utomhusdusch, med tempererat vatten, som grÀnsar till utanför dÀck, perfekt för att skölja bort innan de kommer till stugan.

Gas grill pÄ utsidan dÀck tillÄter grillning. Njuta av stora sjöutsikt och en-av-a-kind solnedgÄngar nÀr du Àter vid picknickbord.

Fly frÄn hustle-rörelse i vardagen. Koppla frÄn teknik och Äterknyta kontakten med din familj, vÀnner, eller dig sjÀlv. Ta lÄnga promenader pÄ stranden, njuta av vattnet, bygga sandslott, ta cyklar att cykla lÀngs banorna. Under regniga dagar, titta pÄ stormen blÄsa över sjön, bli förvÄnad av blixten visa eller passa pÄ att spela brÀdspel, lÀsa eller utforska nÀrliggande Grand Haven. För övrig rekreation, Àr Kirk Park 1/2 mil bort med fina vandringar och Pigeon Lake Àr nÄgra miles söder för att sÀtta i bÄtar och / eller kajaker. Dessa Àr lÀtt nÄs via cykelvÀgar som gÄr direkt framför ingÄngen till vÄrt grannskap.

The beach cottage was exactly what my soul was needing for a few days. We did visit late in the season and it was so quiet and peaceful. The cottage is quaint, very clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time on the back porch. Naps & reading. Or on the deck with a fire. The cottage had everything we needed and most importantly had the best location, tucked into a neighborhood but we felt completely alone, listening to the waves and watching the sunset!

Perfect couples getaway

The property is exactly as described. A little rustic with nice updated finishes. Clean and comfy.... what more do you really need? Wonderful views off the back porch and a couple great decks to sit on while you have a nice small fire and relax with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Unfortunately the stairs to the water were out (due to high water and erosion from previous years) but the access is only a couple houses away. It was nothing to walk there and enjoy the beach out front of the property. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us.

The view!

We booked a weekend at the Miller's cottage to celebrate our anniversary. The cottage was perfect for two. The bed was comfy, and the kitchen was amply stocked. We had everything we could possibly need from towels to beach chairs to wine glasses to...well, everything! The view was glorious! We were close to Grand Haven and Holland for day trips. Kirk Park nearby would be a fantastic spot for a beach day (in warmer weather!) A note for those who visit in the fall -- it was chilly. We came prepared with layers and the space heater helped a lot (and the comforter on the bed was amazing, never cold while sleeping!) Just be aware that the cabin isn't heated and come ready with your fuzzy slippers! The stairs leading to the cottage and to the beach are steep, but easy to navigate. Again, just be ready to carry suitcases down a set of stairs and pack accordingly. If you plan to share the space, be aware the bedroom opens into the living room without a door. Not a problem for us, since we were alone, but something to consider when traveling with a group. If you're looking for a cozy getaway for two, and you want peace, quiet, and a gorgeous view, the Miller's cottage is perfect!

Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. It was easy to get to and even though there were neighbors it was quiet and peaceful. The view of the beach/lake couldn't be any better. It was nice to have beach chairs and towels already there so we didn't have to bring ours. This will definitely be on top of our list for next year. The place very clean!

The cottage is very quaint and the décor has a cute nautical theme. The cottage is a bit hard to get too because of some very steep stairs (if you don't have any knee or back issues you should be good). However despite the entry stairs, the cottage was very clean and there's everything you need to cook or grill. The view from the rear deck overlooks a specular view of the lake.Lots of stairs to get to the beech, but there's a nice overlook deck that you can sit on. Overall a very nice stay.Also, the Host was very professional with all correspondence and communications with me.

View from the cottage is breathtaking! The beach is coming back, new stairs to the beach are nice, as well as all the improvements! This was our third time to the cottage and we will be back. Half way to Holland and Grand Haven so we can visit our friends and enjoy favorite sites in both. Jason is excellent to work with and responds quickly to requests and questions. Holly manages the property and is also easy to work with and responded quickly when we locked ourselves out . Can’t imagine staying anywhere else!

Check In was easy, good directions. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner. Bonus was there was some homemade blueberry spread waiting for us and some coffee as well.

We couldn't have been happier with our week-long stay at the "Miller Cottage." The water levels have finally subsided after several years. So, now a great place is even BETTER... with it's own private beach area. But the fact this place is so close to Kirk Park as well (where there is a very nice/quaint public beach), there truly are multiple good beach options close by. The owner, Jason, was fantastic to work with. And the house was clean, well-maintained, and so close to the water, you could hear the crashing waves as you drifted to sleep at night. We loved the place so much during our stay, we're definitely coming back next summer!

Great location and neighborhood

Jason was fantastic with his communication including checking to ensure we got in ok that night. The property description was accurate and located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The access to the beach was terrific and the addition of an outdoor shower was a fantastic perk! Larger towns were nearby (20-30 minute drive) so when we werent enjoying the sand we didnt have to waste our day traveling to far off destinations to enjoy food and other activities. Would highly recommend!

Peaceful getaway!

We had a lovely time celebrating a 30th birthday at this cottage! Everything was just a pictured and described, the kitchen and bathroom both well stocked. The view was stunning and you can see the lake from almost every room. While it was a bit chilly to be on the beach during our May stay, the multiple decks and view from inside allowed us to enjoy the lake from the warmth of the cottage. We loved how the integrity of the historic cottage was maintained while modern additions have been added, a perfect blend of old and new to unplug for the weekend.Jason was super communicative before and during the stay. We hope to return in the future!

Charming Perfect Cottage

This is a perfect cottage in the woods on the lake. The view of the lake is stunning, with several places on the property to take it in. The porch was perfect for breakfast. Everything was immaculate. So many niceties- included things we've never had before in rentals to make our stay feel like home. LOVE the modern updates while maintaining the charm of its history. Host was in contact with us immediately. All the amenities- numerous and high quality! Patio, deck, stairs, outdoor lighting, outdoor shower, grill, fire pit, beach chairs (Tommy Bahama!), numerous power strips indoors- just top-notch. Dishware, glassware- large variety- even bag clips, which is small, but so appreciated! :-) Great utilization of a smaller space- cupboards and drawers everywhere. We absolutely loved this cozy cottage and definitely recommend for others looking for the same. ~S.

This cottage was purchased by my grandfather upon his return from WWII in the 1940's. It is still in our family and several generations have enjoyed making memories here.
