Gallery Cabin, en 100 Är gammal timmerstuga, nyrenoverad med nytt badrum och pentry. Perfekt för singlar eller par i den 240 kvadratmeter stora stugan har en helt ny queen size-sÀng, kök med handfat, mikrovÄgsugn, vattenkokare, brödrost, brödrost och kylskÄp, och ett badrum med dusch och handdukuppvÀrmningsstÀll. Frukosttillverkning tillhandahÄlls: lÀckert fÀrskt ekologiskt vedeldat surt degbröd tillhandahÄllet av platsen Francis Bread, hemgjord granola, sylt, mjölk, juice, Àgg, smör, bröd, yoghurt, frukt och kaffe och te. Ett privat dÀck suger upp eftermiddagsolen med bord, stolar och grill.

The Gallery Cabin ligger pÄ 2 1/2 tunnland egendom Celia Duthie & Nicholas Hunt - med en annan uthyrning (Gallery B&B), ett konstgalleri och en skulpturpark. Det Àr omgivet av trÀdgÄrdar och utsikt över skogen.

Stugan ligger en kort promenad frÄn den nÀrliggande byn Ganges, Churchill Beach och tvÀrs över gatan frÄn det prestigefyllda Hastings House Hotel. Det finns en offentlig busstrafik frÄn fÀrjeterminalerna sÄ att gÀsterna (om de vill) kan komma till ön utan bil och njuta av ön till fots, buss, kajak eller hyra skoter.

Perfect Getaway on Salt Spring

We had a great time staying at the cabin. The host provided amazing breakfast items (juice, milk, eggs, fresh local sourdough, butter, jam) which made the trip feel so special and the location was a perfect distance from the town (10 minute walk down to the pub and 15 mins to town). Overall great stay, and would come back!

Unique and cosy

We had a very positive experience staying here - gorgeous little 1 room cabin that has a kitchen space will all you need and a bathroom with shower. Ideal for a couple or single. Friendly and helpful hosts. The cabin is cosy in winter and has everything needed to base a stay. Short walk into Ganges.

Perfect stay for my workshops

The cottage was very much like subscribed in the listing. Perfect for one person who don’t need to cook a lot. Would have been a bit cramped to stay with another person for the amount of time I was there (over 10 nights).I would definitely consider staying here again another time!

Stunning Cosy Cottage in Saltspring artists' community

I am a writer and my wife, Jude Clarke, is a painter and we simply stumbled accidentally into this wonderful cottage on Saltspring Island in Ganges run and made by Celia Duthie and Nick Hunt. What a great stay surrounded by art and the smells of an incredible artisan bakery. Perfect.

Such a lovely place! Check in was an easy process and the breakfast makings that were provided were such a thoughtful addition. The hosts were very accommodating and kind, and I always received fast replies. Everything was a quick drive or walk, the grocery store was five minutes away and plenty of options for restaurants or food. I highly recommend staying here.

This was our second stay at Nicholas and Celia's cabin, and, again, they were excellent hosts as was Charles, the property manager. Everything from initial booking to check-out was a breeze, and any/all communications in regards to our stay were prompt, detailed, and warm in tone. The cabin was clean and tidy, and the kitchen contained everything needed to prepare simple meals. Breakfast items (i.e., fresh bread from Francis Bread [always delicious!], eggs, milk, juice, jam/preserves, etc.) provided were fresh and plentiful/generous in serving. We hope to be able to stay once again at Nicholas and Celia's beautiful cabin on future trips to Salt Spring Island and cannot recommend their VRBO property highly enough!

The cabin was cozy, and the bed was comfortable. The host went above and beyond by providing fresh bakery bread and other breakfast items in the fridge. We really enjoyed that. There was some local furniture and art in the cabin which was a cool touch.

The cabin was perfect for us. It had everything we needed. The fresh bread, jam, milk and juice was a welcome addition.The location is centrally located. Although the cabin is in a wooded area it is a short walk to the town center. It is quiet and private, and cosy spot to spend the one rainy afternoon we had.

A little too rustic for me. Road system on island was difficult to negotiate and construction on a section from Fulford island a nightmare. Road to lookout largely not doable due to poor maintainence.

Beautiful Salt Spring Island Visit

Lovely property and location, the cabin was slightly confusing to find at first as the photos were a little outdated. (the plants in front of the cabin had grown since the photos were taken and obscured the view, so it wasn't clear where to go)It was lovely to have fresh local bread and breakfast items available for us to eat each morning. The cabin was charming and in a perfect location.Thank you for having us, we would stay here again.

Relaxing cabin

The cabin is very quaint and comfortable. We enjoyed our time when thier. The selection of breakfast supplies was not as listed on the site. The bread was very good but jam was almost empty and no granola as listed. The lication us excellent as a shirt walk to town center. We would look at staying again if we return in the future.

Perfect Getaway

We were very pleased with our stay in the Gallery in Salt Spring. The cabin was so welcoming and peaceful. Our fridge included the ingredients for a lovely breakfast and we appreciated the fresh flowers. The space is spotless and the surrounding area is beautiful. The cabin was ready and open upon arrival, so check in was seamless.We would definitely recommend this property.

Your hosts Nicholas Hunt and Celia Duthie have been married for more than 30 years. We have 2 children and a cat. Much of our life was spent in the book business in Vancouver; now as well as the B&B we have a gallery of fine and landscape art. We love to cook, eat, walk, read, garden and play bridge.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We love our property because it is surrounded by garden and orchard, fields and forests and the house, cabin and gallery are tasteful and comfortable. Now on the property is Francis Bread - baking delicious fresh organic naturally leavened wood-fired sour dough bread - for our guests.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Visitors will enjoy the historical experience of the 100 year-old cabin and appreciate the art and studio furniture in the cabin. They can also enjoy the landscape art and sculpture on the property and the top quality artists in the Duthie Gallery. As hosts we can recommend restaurants, studios and excursions, and provide maps of trails for hikes and rambles.

The cabin is completely private, with a private entrance; guests will feel they're in their own place while staying with us.

There is always a good supply of current books and magazines available in the suite.

Visitors to our Gallery Cabin will also enjoy its close proximity to the shops, galleries and restaurants of Ganges village, and for lavish dining, the Hastings House hotel, directly across the street.
