Marylil ligger bara kvarter från Lake Michigan, strax söder om Warren Dunes. Det är en vacker ranch stil 5 sovrum, 3 bad [2 fulla, en halv] hem i en privat och trädbevuxen strandförening. Nyligen gjordes följande förbättringar: refinerade trägolv, nymålade, ny trim, ny hårdvara, nya dörrar och ett nytt badrum. En underbar avskärmad veranda med en stor privat inhägnad trädgård för att koppla av eller använda den som ett bra utrymme för barnen att springa runt. Det finns en utomhusdusch för att skölja bort all den sand från stranden. Använd utomhusgasgrillen för din familjgrill. Marylil är utrustad med central luftkonditionering och har en tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Sovrummen inkluderar en king size-säng, tre med queen size-sängar och ett våningssäng rum - en tvilling över tvilling och en annan tvilling över full. Det finns ett pack and play och en barnstol vid behov. Hemmet är perfekt för en stor familj, några familjer att dela eller en grupp vänner. Om du tycker att du måste vara ansluten finns det wifi. Very nice home that fit our family perfectly. Screened-in porch and big backyard were a big plus.

We had a wonderful time here. Beautiful beach that was an easy walk away. Nicely furnished large bedrooms, living area and screened-in porch were great for our family and big backyard was great for 4 grandkids. Very well equipped kitchen that was roomy enough for several cooks. Thanks for a wonderful week.

Memories Made Here!

This is the second year that we have rented Marylil for our family - with grown children and grandchildren. The home is lovely and very comfortable. Elizabeth has thought of every detail to make your stay perfect. The yard is great for young children - fenced in and with plenty of space to run and play. We enjoyed most evenings just sitting on the patio, chatting, cooking and playing. But the beach is always everyone's favorite! Shorewood has wonderful beaches and they are easy to access for everyone. Lots of memories are made in this wonderful location!

Perfect location for a family vacation!

Marylil is so well equipped for a large family! My children and grandchildren (11 of us) were all very comfortable in this spacious home! We loved the separate gathering spaces- living room, dining room, screened porch and basement playroom. The 5 bedrooms were all comfortable. The bunk beds and pack'n play made the children feel like they had their own special space. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to eat in. The yard was large with a nice patio and outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach! We walked to the beautiful private beach each day and enjoyed the playground and tennis court that was also close by. Sawyer and the neighboring towns have so much to offer too. We loved the shops, restaurants, and breweries in the area. We hope to return again!

Perfect Michigan Getaway!

This review is overdue! We rented the home for my future sister-in-law's bachelorette party. The home is so cute and there was plenty of space for all of us. It is a great location for groups with a big back yard, close to the beach and in a quiet area. It is also a great place to stay if you want to tour the local wineries, which is what we did for the bachelorette party. We had so much fun during our stay, the house was perfect and I am sure I'll be back!

Great for Groups

We rented the house for my sisters bachelorette party. We had 16 people. The house was fantastic! All the comforts of home. Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Lots of comfy beds and tons of extra space for our air mattresses. Great location for southwest Michigan wineries.

Perfect Stay

This home was the perfect place for our girls weekend/bachelorette party! There was more than enough room (in fact we each had our own bedroom), the finishes are beautiful, and there is tons of outdoor space. It is close to restaraunts, breakfast cafes, winieries, the grocery store, beach, etc. Not to mention, the trip we made was an easy one with it only an hour and half commute from Chicago. We truly enjoyed our stay and we hope to be back. We couldn't have asked for a more cozy, spacious, and perfect spot to spend a weekend with friends.

Great house for a family gathering

Our family (two sons and their families) all met at Marylil to spend a week at Lake Michigan. There were 12 of us all together, and this house worked perfectly! There were plenty of bedrooms, and our four granddaughters enjoyed sleeping in the bedroom with the two bunk beds. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was well-equiped, which was very nice. The Meijers store (similar to WalMart/Target) had all of the food supplies we needed with very good quality and selection. We enjoyed the Sawyer fresh food market - good selection of fruits and vegetables. We enjoyed picking fresh blueberries at Mike's blueberry farm (where our sons picked blueberries when they were kids). The "wooded" neighborhood was nice for walks and bike rides, and the drive to the beach was quick. Beach "supplies" (chairs, umbrellas, toys, kayak) were greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all. I think our 10 year old grandson expressed all of our thoughts when he asked if we could move there permanently! The washer and dryer came in handy, and we all enjoyed evenings either on the beach watching the sun set or gathered in the sun room enjoying the cool breezes. Thanks, Elizabeth and family!! We can highly recommend Marylil to anyone.

Lovely house for a girls trip!

We spent the weekend at this beautiful house last summer for a girls trip and had a wonderful time! The house has everything you need and we especially loved the fire pit and hammock in the backyard, and the short walk to to beach! Can't wait to stay again!

An amazing getaway spot!

I went to Elizabeth's beach house this September for a girl's weekend at the beach. Right away Elizabeth was super excited, communicative, and accommodating. There were about 10 of us coming and that weekend (we each had a bed!!), from all over the Midwest including Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, and of course the Chicagoland area. We were able to barbecue, have mini dance parties, and head out to the beach only a five minute walk up the street. In town (within driving distance), there are many wonderful restaurants, wineries, breweries, and ice cream shops. I would definitely head up to Elizabeth's beach house again!

During summer, spend the day on the beach with your feet in the sand, a warm breeze blowing, a good book, sounds of children playing, and your favorite beverage in your hand. As the day winds to an end, the different hues of orange and blue soar across Lake Michigan as the sun says its final farewell to the day. Then enjoy a bonfire on the beach ready to roast your marshmallow for the perfect s'more. Book a stay at Marylil in Sawyer. Our private beach is one of the most beautiful in Southwest Michigan. Besides the beach there are many other activities to enjoy. Bike through wine country, pick fresh blueberries, shoot a round of golf, have your own big year birding in Harbor Country, kayak on the Galien river. If shopping is more your style – there are plenty of boutiques and antique shops. There are a variety of restaurants nearby including Journeyman Distillery, Peasant's Pantry, and D'Agostino's are just a few. There are several microbreweries nearby including Sawyers own Greenbush Brewery. If stout or porters are your jam, Transient Artisan Ales in Bridgman is a must stop!

Prefer Fall, then grab your sweater and head out for a wondrous walk with all the hiking trails nearby. Watch the leaves with their beautiful color fall ever so delicately to the ground. The deer are quite sneaky and are fun to watch. Go for a walk along the beach and come home to a fire inside or a bonfire in the backyard. In winter a quiet calm has come to Sawyer – enjoy the snow and frozen Lake Michigan. Take some time to yourself, some quality family time, or a great friends getaway to Marylil. There is a gas burning fireplace to keep you warm inside with a large window to view the serene winter landscape.
