Enkel tillgång till sjön, skidåkning, shopping och alla andra utomhusaktiviteter. Koppla av i slutet av din roliga dag i den vackra trädgården. * Observera * Vi har en strikt occupancy-specifik policy: Vi kan endast rymma max 6 vuxna. Kombinationer av vuxna / barn för 8 totalt accepterade w / 6 vuxna, max. Vi hyr inte ut till studenter / singlar under 25 år om de inte åtföljs av vård över 25 år.

Njut av din vistelse i vår mysiga 3 sovrum 2 badstuga i South Lake Tahoe. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng med en helt ny italiensk kakel duschkabin. Det andra sovrummet har en queen size-säng och den sista, vanligtvis kvar för barnen, har 4 enkelsängar, två i våningssäng och två i en rulla. Ingen behöver sova i vardagsrummet eller på en soffa!

Vi har lagt in alla nya trägolv och matta samt ommålat hela insidan. Det finns en helt ny tvättmaskin och torktumlare samt ett fullt utrustat öppet kök.

Det finns gratis WIFI, en storskärms-TV, kabel, en smart blueray / dvd-spelare och en Chromecast.

Gästerna är välkomna att använda vår gasgrill på det lilla trädäcket.

Tvärs över gatan är statligt ägt skogsmark så att du aldrig kommer att känna dig trångt.

När barnen är i sängen njut av vedeldad spis eller ånga i våt / torrbastun.

Cozy & Neat!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. We enjoyed the barbecue and the sauna. Every thing was neat and very organized, and great local dinner referrals as well. If you are looking for a cozy place to stay, this is it!

Hidden Gem

What a great getaway tucked into a tree lined street in the Lake Tahoe area, so many trees that as soon as I opened my car door I was hit with that Tahoe smell and instantly felt myself relaxing. I loved the updated bathrooms and the sweet details from the owners like the complimentary bottle of wine and the basket of towels in the outdoor sauna. That thoughtfulness was apparent throughout the cabin. Excellent location away from the hustle and bustle but just a few minute drive from both the beauty of the lake and the excitement of the casino's. And very easy access right off the freeway saved a lot of drive time. Incredible value, I'll will definitely return.

Fantastic Trip

We loved staying at "the Shady Glade." It all seemed so new and clean. It is not huge but it had everything we needed. We were 3 adults and 2 kids and it was perfect. I could see having up to 4 adults and 4 kids but it would probably be a little crowded with 8 adults. Our favorite part was the master bed and bath. The bed was nicer than what we have at home and the walk in shower was like being at a resort. Also the spa was very nice. It heated up quickly and the kids liked pouring the water on the rocks and making steam though I could see this being a bigger draw in the winter after a full day of skiing. What really set this house apart from other places we have stayed in Tahoe is the location. I have been coming to Tahoe all my life but have never been to this neighborhood. It was like going back in time (except for the new mansions built after the fire). The houses were few and far between. There was only empty land across from us. And the best part was the back way in. We were there over Memorial day but hardly saw the crowds at all. We are all looking forward to staying here again.

Cute mountain home in the woods

We only stayed for three nights, using the cabin as a home base to go up to Angora Lakes during the day. The house is older, as settling as made the floors slope to one side. The beds were comfortable and the propane bbq was a plus. There are a washer and dryer, and a dry sauna on site, but we didn’t stay long enough to use them. Plus, it’s summer and too warm for a sauna. The cabin is quiet and in a nice neighborhood only 10 min. from Raley’s grocery store. The owner was easy to contact when issues arose.

Cozy & Quiet Family Getaway

We stayed here for a total of 5 nights in July 2018, and had such a great time! There were 6 of us to start (myself, my husband, our 5 year old, our 2 year old, and my mother & father in law). My in laws were only there for 2 days because they were eaten by bears. JK, they only wanted to take a few days off from work. With 4 adults total, it was a little crowded, just in the kitchen and dining area, but definitely not a problem! The home is very clean, has a closet equipped with family board games, has a lovely master shower, and is weaved into a very quiet neck of the woods. Stephanie was extremely responsive and kind - a total pleasure to coordinate with. This cabin is about 15-20 minutes of a drive away from the lake itself, and the drive to the lake is so beautiful. You also pass through an adorable part of the town. The only little issue that we encountered with this cabin is that the wifi is just a *little* wonky (we brought an xbox and it wasn't holding the connection well), but you're in the heart of the woods here, so it's understandable. As far connecting to phones, it worked fine, but we did decide to disconnect and 'be one with nature' anyway. Outside of that, we were a little strapped for supplies (needed more paper towels, napkins, trash bags) and it would have been nice to see things like band aids, or other small amenities. But nothing majorly inconvenient at all. All in all, I would highly recommend giving this cabin a go! It's a great family getaway with reasonable distance to the lake and other great sights. Thank you to Stephanie for having us!! Because of how fun this trip was, we're planning on making this an annual event. :)

Loved this cozy home away from home!!

The house was everything we needed and so conveniently located. Beds were super comfortable, the house was neat and had everything required for a weekend in the snow! Stephanie was very responsive and everything went smoothly from booking to communications to accessing the house. Would definitely stay again as everyone enjoyed the house! Thanks again, Stephanie!

Great remodeled property close to the lake

Stayed here last weekend with four friends (five of us total). It's a nicely remodeled home with the basic amenities. The selling point for us was the sauna, which is detached from the house. The couple shockers upon arrival was that there were no toiletries (even previous occupants' leave-behinds) and no wood/kindling for the fireplace or sauna. Would be helpful for others to know to bring their own :) Favorite aspects: - the master shower was a dream - Nest thermostat - Big screen TV with cable and DVDs (Chromecast, as well, but we did not use) - Fully stocked kitchen supplies - Sauna (NOTE: it is not electric and takes about 45-60 minutes and a few logs to fully heat up)

Splendid Medium size Cabin

What a nice place

I had a wonderful winter vacation with my friends couple in this house. The house was a quite clean and has some nice features like sauna, fireplace etc. Ah the sauna was disable though, easy to access to groceries, gas station, major ski resorts and also the lake. But I would recommend to visit here with a 4 wheel drive car especially in winter that a lot of snow comes. The town where this house is in spreads on different elevations and when got a tons of snow, driving on the road would possibly be a problem. Or having snow chain would work otherwise. Obviously seemed keep in well maintenance by the owner. Overall, it's a great house. Highly recommend.

Truly felt like home away from home!

I had stayed here with five of my friends for two nights and felt really at home moment we stepped in! Steph & Phil were very good with correspondence from the very beginning and provided us with all the information we required without having to ask. We all were pretty impressed with the house and its amenities and found the place very well maintained and clean. There were notes with instructions in just the places that you'd need it! :) and not to mention a complimentary bottle of wine. All in all we had a really wonderful stay and couldn't have asked for a better hospitality! I'd definitely recommend this house for their next Tahoe vacation!

Nice, cozy and comfortable

We were a group of 6 adults and 2 kids and just wanted some quiet time away from the city. Stayed for a weekend and enjoyed every bit of it. The property is exactly as advertised which was great since a lot of owners tend to embellish when advertising. The place was clean with fresh linen and towels. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kids loved their bunk bed. Stephanie was very responsive whenever we had a question. It is a little far from the action (stores, casino, Heavenly etc.) but that is exactly what we were looking for. All in all; a very pleasant experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet time in a comfortable setting.

Great location requiring short drives to some of the most scenic areas and hiking trails in the area

Accommodations are very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, making it inviting and easy to settle in. The family's onsite messages are welcoming and they clearly want their visitors to have fun and to enjoy themselves!!

Clean and Quiet House

Four friends and I stayed here for a weekend while completing our scuba diving certification at Meeks Bay. The house is very clean and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Tahoe.

Wonderful stay in Tahoe

We had a great time in this cabin. It was very conveniently located and check in and check out were both very easy. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in South Lake Tahoe!
