The house and pool area were amazing. Loved how they decorated it and the yard and plants are so beautiful. The location is great. Communication with the owner was great. Our kid’s dogs loved the upstairs patio with baby (dog) gate. At night the lights on the patio and pool area are perfect. The slide to the pool was fun too. We will definitely try to go back next year. I highly recommend this place!

Our host was spot on. Communication was excellent before we arrived, during check-in, and at check-out. We also needed to reach out during our stay, and every call or text was answered promptly. We could not have asked for better service. The house was clean and had all the amenities needed to feel like home. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were great, and the large kitchen and living room provided plenty of space for everyone. The yard was also well maintained. This place is the ultimate location for kids. The pool and slide were a huge hit, and our grandson (under 5 years old) was in the pool every day of our trip. The fenced yard gave us an added sense of security, and the pool was very well maintained. The second-floor deck is spacious and was a great place to read, relax in the sun, enjoy some shade, and watch the activity around the pool.We BBQ’d every day, and the outdoor area had everything we needed. The grill, prep area, and seating were all excellent and conveniently located right by the pool. The location is also ideal, with easy access to Jamaica Beach, East Beach, San Luis Pass, the Seawall, the Strand, and Moody Gardens. We will definitely be back. Thank you.SM

Excellent stay

We stayed at the property for several days over the Fourth of July holiday. The house is great and the backyard is fantastic. The owner is communicative and helpful, and the house was in great shape when we arrived. The neighborhood was mostly quiet, even on a holiday weekend. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful space felt right at home

We booked Pearl Basin somewhat last minute after our other rental was damaged from the storms and it was a blessing! We wanted a spacious home for our family beach trip we take to Galveston every year. This house was so beautiful from the decor details and to the amazing swimming pool. We really liked that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dogs as well. Traci went above and beyond to accommodate us. We highly recommend this beautiful home!

First time in at jamaica beach

This house was exactly as described by the listing as well as pictures. Quiet, cozy, and beautiful. There was 4 of us staying and this house had every amenity avaiable. The outdoor pool area was the star of the show as thats where we stayed anytime we were at the actual house. The owner was very easy to deal with and always available with answers. We truly had a great experience at pearl basin.

Great weekend getaway...

This property was perfect for our family weekend getaway. Even though the weather was ultimately impacted by a Hurricane that hit the southern TX coast, we still were able to have a great time at the property. It's clear that the owner put a lot of time and effort into giving it a very unique atmosphere - and it easily stood out from most properties around it. Any questions we had for the owner were answered quickly with zero issues at all. It's definitely a property that I'd recommend to friends/family.

The kind of place you almost don’t want to share because it’s that special.Pearl Basin in Jamaica Beach is, without question, one of the most thoughtfully curated and effortlessly comfortable vacation homes we’ve experienced. From the moment you walk in, you feel it the intention behind every detail, every finish, every touch designed to make you slow down and enjoy. The home is beautifully maintained, impeccably clean, and styled in a way that feels both elevated and inviting. It’s rare to find a space that balances luxury with true livability, but this one does it flawlessly. Whether you’re having coffee in the morning, winding down in the evening, or hosting friends and family, everything just flows. What truly sets Pearl Basin apart is the experience. it’s peaceful, private, and restorative while still being close enough to everything you need. It feels like a retreat, not just a rental.Traci was an exceptional host responsive, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about creating a memorable stay.If you’re even considering booking, don’t hesitate. This is the kind of place you come back to again and again.

The owner has done an amazing job of creating an oasis in her yard around the pool. We could hang out all day! The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need to cook. Her home is beautifully decorated creating a feel right at home touch. There is plenty of room for the maximum amount of guests to feel comfortable. We were so blessed to have found her place three years ago and then return again this year. We look forward to another return trip!

Jamaica Beach - September 2020

A spacious, comfortable and well appointed property, close to the bay canal, and a short ride to the gulf beach. It has a nice clean and good sized swimming, in a beautifully planted yard, with plenty of shaded sitting areas. There was one small issue with blocked sink, which the owner had fixed in a timely manner. Otherwise it was great trip, which we enjoyed very much. Traci is great host.

I have been coming to Galveston since I was a little girl visiting relatives and vacationing… I fell in love with the Jamaica Beach neighborhood years back , and soon knew I wanted to be a homeowner down on the bayside…
I enjoy the outdoors by the water, and feel very relaxed @ Pearl Basin.
I have personally refinished many pieces of the furniture in my new home. Not to mention designed the new bathrooms and Kitchen. I did all the decor as well. I am very passionate about my new project, and hope to share it with people that will take care of it and appreciate all my hard work. This home is not meant for those who want to party & have a wild time. It’s meant for small families that want to relax, cook, swim & enjoy a nice classy ambiance.
