Välkommen till Avon! Inbäddat i Vail Valley tillbaka från Beaver Creek Mountain and Resort, har staden Avon allt. Ett brett urval av restauranger, butiker, barer och fritidsaktiviteter ute och inne, passar för vilken årstid du besöker, och allt inom gångavstånd från lägenheten.
Under skidsäsongen är du mindre än en 10 minuters promenad från bekvämligheten av lägenheten till gondolen på Westin Hotel som tar dig rakt på backarna.
Under sommaren har Nottingham Lake, som är mindre än en mil bort, både vatten och landbaserade aktiviteter för hela familjen att njuta av.
Vail, som är en 15 minuters bilresa bort, förvandlar från ett snöigt vinterunderland till kulturens centrum av dalen med många musikaliska konserter som passar alla smaker samt skidbackar som vänder sig till vandrings- och mountainbike-spår.
Nyligen köpt, vår 1999 byggda lägenhet har nya apparater och möbler samt har 21st Century bekvämligheter som Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, SmartTV i varje sovrum, nyckelfärdig post och höghastighets WiFi för att nämna några.

This is a great property in Avon. It’s right in the middle of town. Janet was very responsive to our questions and the instructions to access it were clear. Would definitely book again.

Comfy, cozy, and convenient

We really enjoyed our stay here. After parking the first night, we didn’t use the car at all until we left for the airport. It’s perfectly located by the shuttle and you can easily get to the lifts. Plenty of restaurants are walking distance and a fairly priced grocery store if you’re trying to eat in. Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed the condo, everything worked well, was clean, and well-equipped. Location is super convenient for grocery, restaurants and the shuttle. We would definitely stay there again!

Soccer tournament trip

The condo is perfect! There was everything we could have wanted, plus dining and shopping in walking distance. Janet was a gem to work with. The check in process was a little puzzling but easy once done. Many thanks!

Wonderful Stay

Everything was as listed. Very comfortable and everything one needs is provided. Communication was very good with Janet. Location is great and within easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants. Only downside was there is no air conditioning. Ceiling fans and several floor fans (provided) helped make things comfortable, though, on a couple of warm days.

Good location. Did not receive garage/elevator code until after we arrived & specifically requested code. Resident guest garage parking spaces are limited & small for SUV or larger vehicles (due to concrete columns that limit vehicle parking radius). Carpets appeared dirty and old/worn.

Great condo right on Avon skier shuttle line. Many restaurants within walking distance, as well as grocery store. Would stay here again for certain.

Wonderful location for skiing!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay for skiing at Vail and Beaver Creek. The location was convenient to shopping for groceries and made for a very comfortable place to stay after long days on the slopes! VRBO failed to send some of the check in information however Janet was extremely responsive and helpful during the check-in process. We will definitely consider booking again for future trips to the area!

Great Spot to stay.

Everything you need, ski shuttle only 100m away from the entry door going up to beaver creek, condo is well equipped to make meals, or relax between skiing. The unit is a bit aged but neat, clean and comfortable. Some things need upgrading. The timber ventitian blinds in the bedrooms don’t open or close. The dishwasher also leaked, but we mentioned it to them and they were going to replace it as soon as they could. Also be careful if you go to grab baking trays under the oven door, there was no barrier between the actual flame and the trays, my son burnt his hand when he went to grab a tray out of what should have only been a warm area, Loved sitting in front of the gas fire, and having a 3 month old baby with us, the washer and dryer in the condo was fantastic. Supermarket across the road, take away food close. We did have a bit of a problem when we tried to get into the building, we didn’t have the codes for the front door or elevator, luckily the building manager was there and gave us the code, but then it changed on the first of the month and we once again werent able to get back into the building. The new code wasn’t sent to us. So a just a few little niggles that certainly didn’t take away from a lovely stay.

Great Stay in Avon

We enjoyed our stay in Avon. Apparently we were not sent the check-in info. for the garage entrance and parking validation, which was a bit worrisome since we arrived after 10pm. Thankfully we were able to get a hold of the owner and she sent that info. immediately. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay. The location was convenient to Beaver Creek and being able to park in the garage was awesome, since it snowed a ton the weekend we were there.

Great spot in Avon!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo in Avon. The space was clean and furnished nicely. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with what we needed (although I'm glad we brought our own coffee since decaf k-cups were the only option). Being able to walk to shops, the grocery store, and restaurants was great! Underground parking was a nice perk too. We read reviews about the condo getting warm in the summer since there's no AC. Thankfully there were a few fans that helped to keep the bedrooms cool at night!

Welcome to our new mountain getaway.
Originally from the UK, our family (Janet, Tom and our son John) have lived in the Chicago area for the last 14 years. When we moved to the US, we discovered a love of skiing as a family activity. As our skiing confidence grew in the Midwest mountains, several years ago we decided it was time to try our ski legs on the awe inspiring mountains of the Colorado Rockies. We haven't looked back since. When it comes to our destination of choice for skiing, we just love the Vail Valley. Where Tom and John prefer the vast openness of Vail and the un-groomed Back Bowls, I prefer the smaller resort of Beaver Creek, particularly skiing down Little Brave at Arrowhead and waiting for my boys at the bottom of the slope whilst enjoying the sun, apres ski and music on the patio.

When looking for a mountain getaway in the Vail Valley, we wanted to be somewhere that had stunning views year round, but was also close to many amenities. Chapel Place in Avon gave us just that.
So, come in and make yourself at home. We hope we've thought of everything you could possibly need, wish for, and even things you didn't realize you needed to make this your perfect mountain getaway destination.
From the appliances in the kitchen, to the forward thinking way of watching your favorite shows via Amazon Fire TV on the bedroom LED TVs, we hope we've thought of everything you and your guests could possibly need. There's even a hair dryer in both bathrooms, as I know how frustrating it is when you're having to wait for someone else to finish using the only hair dryer provided!

Set at the back of the property, our condo looks out over the Back Bowls of Vail. Close to downtown Avon with a wide selection of shops, bars and child friendly restaurants, our mountain getaway is a short walk to them all.
The free skier shuttle service also stops less than a minute walk across the parking lot and the gondola to the mountain is less than a 10 minute walk!
