Vi Àr ocksÄ inom en timmes tid frÄn Lexington, Lynchburg, Charlottesville, Staunton och Waynesboro, Virginia. Alla stugor Àr modernt utrustade och redo för din vistelse. My sister, husband, and I love Deer Run! It is so peaceful and comfortable . Fall is the perfect time to get away to the Crabtree area. The leaves were gorgeous and we enjoyed nightly outdoor fires with our friends at Hawks View.We will definitely be back!

It was a very clean and comfortable place to stay, in a beautiful setting along the Tyre River. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. And we were able to enjoy visiting some wonderful natural sites nearby (Crabtree Falls & the Natural Bridge). Our thanks to Margaret and Kenneth for opening their wonderful cabin to us!

Excellent Place to Get Away

Deer Run was the perfect cabin for the three of us to wind down and relax. The kitchen was well-equipped, it was extremely clean, and above all, it was so comfortable. We were happy to shut down the cell phones. The sound of the stream was soothing, so we spent many hours on the deck. A return visit is being planned. Delightful as always

We have had friends stay at this place multiple times, and it always provides a wonderful experience. From the outdoor deck overlooking the stream to the walk down to the river to the quiet contemplation inside the house. The hosts are wonderful and responsive. We will be back.

Great Stay!

The cabin was perfect for our family! Our kids loved playing in the river, which is a small walk from the cabin. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived and check in was a breeze.

the cabin was exactly as described. stairs to basement were a bit tricky, but we managed just fine. Loved being with son's family that rented the cabin next door. Thanks for another great stay at Deer Run.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We came to hike Crabtree Falls and this location was just minutes away. Even better was the creek right behind the house. There is nothing better than listening to the sounds of a babbling brook. I like that they had several other rentals that you could accommodate a group without staying in the same house. Note to future renters, there is no stores or restaurants with in 30 min. And the house has wi-fi but there is no cell signal on the mountain

Adorable cabin

We had so much fun at this cabin, our first trip since my husbands OHS.....took the boys snowboarding at wintergreen and loved the drive to and from the cabin. Went to crabtree falls and had lunch at a brewery.......we will be back.....wonderplace and the scenery is so beutiful.
