Vi är familjeägda stugor inbäddade i Blue Ridge Mountains. Våra stugor ligger mindre än en timmes köravstånd från attraktioner som Blue Ridge Parkway, Crabtree Falls, Montebello Fish Hatchery, Oak Ridge Estate, Wintergreen Ski Resort, Rockfish Valley-restauranger, vingårdar och bryggerier, Walton's Mountain Museum och Appalachian Trail. Vi är också inom en timmes tid från Lexington, Lynchburg, Charlottesville, Staunton och Waynesboro, Virginia. Alla stugor är modernt utrustade och redo för din vistelse. Relaxing

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I came down from Richmond,VA for the weekend to do some rockhounding and hiking. It's a beautiful, quiet area perfect for couples and small families. The cabin has everything you need. Wonderful, private location. We're definitely coming back again!

We couldn’t 'bear' to leave

We had a lovely time at this unbearably cute, animal-themed cabin, enjoying the view from the dining table, the coziness of the living room and the easy walk down a private path to the river below. The laundry machine and dryer were a great bonus.

Mountain getaway!

This little cabin was perfect! We also loved the drive up the mountain to the cabin. There were lots of things to do in the area if you’re up for a challenge. We hope to return soon!

Mountain Cabin

The check in was easy, and everything was as described. The location was perfect exactly what would be expected of a mountain cabin. The cabin was cozy, and perfect for my daughter and I. When we stayed it was col and used the fireplace indoors. The property appears to have plenty of amenities that could be enjoyed in any season, outdoor fire ring, deck,grill, and river access. We plan to come back an and stay and enjoy other seasons here.

Fall Getaway

We've spent a long, lazy weekend at Bear Paw almost every fall for the past 10 years or so. The cabin is quite rustic, but oh-so cozy and charming. We love sitting by the fireplace, dining in the little enclosed porch area- quite literally in the woods- and being lulled by the sound of the river out back. The surrounding area is beautiful for hiking and enjoying the beauty of God's creation. This little place is truly magical. Thank you, Taylors, for sharing it with us!

Great little cabin

The cabin was perfect for our annual trout fishing weekend. The only thing I can possibly note as a downside was the ceiling height and small bunks upstairs as I am very tall; Would be perfect for kids.

Weekend stay

Very rustic cozy cabin in a beautiful location near a river. The kids enjoyed playing and fishing in the nearby river. The fireplace was great to relax by and the dining area had great views of the forest. Would stay again.

Relaxing get away.

We enjoyed our stay. We didn't have neighbors although there are cabins on either side so we were alone which was nice.

Secluded with a view

It's a beautiful location with a nice view and a river next door. I booked this stay for my father and he enjoyed the peace and quiet. Be warned there really is no service out there: though it may be what you're looking for. Unfortunately the landline was down when he was there and the Internet cut out on the second day, but the host was nice enough to provide another stay. Overall a nice trip but make sure to come with a buddy if you could have health issues.
