Du kommer att njuta av ditt morgonkaffe eller solnedgång kväll glas vin från den vackra 1000 kvadratfot däck med utsikt över sjön Pend Oreille. Denna privata, fredlig reträtt ligger bara några minuter från den livliga staden Sandpoint och City Beach. Den stuga reträtt har 2 rum utrustade med dubbla drottning våningssängar, köksskåp och kan sova 8 personer. Hög hastighet Wifi och Netflix ingår också. Bara en 15 minuters bilresa till Schweitzer, en 40 minuters bilresa till Silver Amusement Park, en 20 minuters cykeltur till City Beach eller en 5 minuters bilresa till centrum Sandpoint. Really beautiful and the owners were amazing.

Winter Getaway

Great little cabin that met all of our needs. Loved staying here for the week. Having Schweitzer to ski 25 miutes away, the town to hang out in, and being able to drive to Coeur d'Alene for one day.

Nice, clean property!

Beautiful setting. Plenty of amenities provide by hosts. Fabulous outside decks and fire pit. Not much of a view of lake but at least a peekaboo. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful experience

I stayed here with my two young children and mother and we had a terrific time. The house was well stocked with anything you could need. The deck was amazing to watch the beautiful sunsets and to enjoy meals on. We would definitely come again!

WOW what aa deck!

Nice updated kitchen, super comfy beds, a highlight is tons of great outdoor space & seating to enjoy. Great location to hit Sandpoint & all the lake has to offer. Owners a breeze to deal with.

Beautiful setting in the trees with lake and mountain views

Super clean cabin and very comfortable beds. Well equipped with anything you could think of. Property is very convenient to Sandpoint and points north or south. It is very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Our dog was very happy exploring around the cabin. Plenty of room to stretch your legs.

Great place! Comfy stay with TONS to do!

Neat spot! Close to Sandpoint with a great relaxing outdoor patio and deck. The owners, Erin and Thomas were very attentive for any questions that came up. And, when I say tons to do I mean a shed full of things you can use like bikes, corn hole, tennis racquets, kayaks, soccer ball, just to name a few. The beds were SO comfortable...we all slept great! Two nights was definitely not enough to fully enjoy everything, but a great stay nonetheless.

Great little property, super location.

We absolutely loved this property, it was very well stocked with everything you need. Great value for all this property offers. You can tell the hosts are welcoming and really care about your stay. Very clean and comfortable - the kitchen and main living space was perfect size for our group of 3. If there was one area for improvement it is that we were not fans of the queen bunk beds - it felt claustrophobic since one side was pushed up against the wall, and very limited head room - but the mattresses were very comfortable. Amazing outdoor spaces - decks and patio. Overall the property was one of the best we've ever stayed at - highly recommend.

Perfect Cozy Cabin

Erin and Thomas, your property was incredible and the perfect spot for me and my family to spend time this December. The location was ideally located, taking us only 5 minutes to get downtown and only 25 to get to the ski hill. The amenities at the property were as described and we loved the cozy vibe. Our pet Lucy sure loved being able to stay at the property as well! Both of you were incredibly responsive and assisted us with all of our questions. Thank you for such an amazing experiencing with VRBO!

We enjoyed our stay in Sandpoint

We loved the outdoor area, great chairs and wood pile. My daughter especially liked landscaping and all the stuff you left for guests to enjoy. Beds were comfortable. House could use updating and carpets cleaning, but all was ready for us when we arrived so we appreciated that. Some of the condiments on the fridge were outdated and the freezer was full. We would recommend this unit. Thanks enjoyed our stay

Cozy, convenient get-away

This was one of the few decently priced rentals I've found that allow dogs, and we were very pleased. We took our pups and our kiddo, and we were able to enjoy a fire on the patio while the dogs played. The only thing we had to watch for was the dogs staying close, as the house is just off of a kind of busy road. 5 minutes from town, 5 minutes from public beach access, and very accommodating place. We wished we could have stayed longer! Oh, and the beds were extremely comfortable. :)

Quaint hide away

This property might not be waterfront but has so much to offer. It’s a quiet little hide away with a spectacular multi level patio, and open fire pit. Bathroom needs a major overhaul but is clean and functional. One bedroom is extremely warm (but we were there when temp was 30c). Kitchen and main living area has been upgraded beautifully.

Great little place on the lake

We so enjoyed our Christmas vacation at Murphy's Retreat on Lake Pend Orielle. Since it was winter, we didn't venture onto the lake but had wonderful views. It was an easy drive to Schweitzer, and into the fabulous town of Sandpoint. This would definitely be a wonderful summer spot, too. Everything was just as described. My only suggestion would be to someday replace the carpet with something easier to keep clean. Thanks for everything!

Murphy's Retreat is Amazing

The house and outdoor areas make Murphy's Retreat an ideal vacation or get away spot. The tiered decks, the stone patio, and sunken firepit make the outdoor Living area a Peaceful place to relax, enjoy Nature, and make great memories with family & friends. The house has all the modern amenities but still has the Lake House charm. We rode the Mountain Bikes that are available along the Lake and around town. The water was too chilly to attempt the Kayaks but would be great during the warmer months. I definitely would recommend staying at Murphy's Retreat. Thomas and Erin are wonderful hosts and the entire process was very smooth and easy. Such a wonderful place for a Vacation.

Family visit

Came to meet our new granddaughter who lives in Ponderay. This is a true gem, such a great little cabin with beautiful views of the lake. Enjoyed the fire pit and roasting marshmallows with the grandkids. Can't wait to stay again was the perfect home away from home. Thank you for such a wonderful time

Erin and Thomas are Canadians that wish they lived in Sandpoint. We have vacationed in Idaho for the last 15 years starting with tents at Sam Owen Campground, a tent trailer at Round Lake campground, a travel trailer at Spring Point Campground and then found this gem of a place off of Lakeshore Drive. Sandpoint is our happy place and if you havent experienced Sandpoint yet, i bet it will become one of yours as well.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Finding Murphy's Retreat was the luckiest day for us. The house had been on the market for 6 months and we ended up purchasing it in February / March. We knew right away what it could offer even though it was the end of winter. Our first goal was to replace the deck and then in 2015 we built a stone patio. These 2 projects have altered the place such that there is a focus on enjoying the outdoors. The location is off of Lakeshore drive which is a beautiful area with many nice homes in the area. It is also very close in proximity to all common amenities.

The unique benefits Murphy's Retreat offers is truly the many places you can sit and enjoy what outdoor Idaho offers. The deck is oversized at ~1000 square feet and the stone patio is even larger.
