Stuga # 1 är en av 6 stugor familjeägt och drivs av Robinson's Cottages i Edmunds Township, Maine. Det ligger i Downeast-regionen i Maine och har utsikt över Dennys River.

Ursprungligen byggd 1936, har denna två våningar stuga en fält sten spis och vedspis för värme. Stugan har ett bra kök, matplats och vardagsrum nere. På övervåningen finns ett badrum med dusch och 3 sovrum som sover 7. Det finns ett sovrum med en dubbelsäng, en med 2 tvillingar och en med 3 tvillingar. Sängkläder och handdukar finns. Den stora verandaen har utsikt över floden och det finns en trapp ner till simbassängen. Det finns också en utomhus kolgrill och picknickbord. Gratis WiFi ingår.

Gästerna har gratis ved för eldstaden och vedspisen. Kanoterna och båtarna på dammen och floden är gratis att använda och flytvästar finns på kontoret.

Stugan ligger några hundra meter från multi-use Down East Sunrise Trail. Vi välkomnar ATV-användare och vandrare. och andra gäster kan även använda spåret.

Stugan ligger ca 20 miles från kuststäderna Eastport och Lubec samt St. Stephen och Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Kanada.

The cabin, the setting, and the property managers were all amazing. I cannot say enough good things, so I will only say that this will be our year vacation in the future. Thank you for a great stay!

Absolutely amazing

This was the best place to spend our honeymoon. We are completely at peace with the outdoors. The cottage was perfect, wood burning stove was an amazing way to stay warm, plus the huge fire place, the porch is where we spent most days, unless we were out exploring Maine. Perfect location for beautiful things to see, the people were friendly and so accommodating. It’s was just breathtaking. We definitely will be back now. Once a year at least for now!!

Great weekend getaway

Nice and clean rustic cottage. Had everything I needed and allowed me a great home base for hiking with my dog. Everything was wonderful and I had a great stay.

Relaxing time

Great place to safely get away from home and relax in the “quiet”. Weather not so great one day but really enjoyed the Porsche and wood heat.

Great place to relax in upper Maine

Our whole family enjoyed our stay at the cottages. We stayed in cottage #1 and really loved it. The kids wanted to spend time running around on the screened in porch. I didn’t cook much, but the kitchen as completely equipped with everything from a microwave and stove to pie plates and a turkey roasting pan. The entire places was very clean. I personally enjoyed that there was a wide range of books, puzzles and games throughout the house. The first day I kept reading the kids new books that they were super excited to find. I even sat down a read one of the books while my mom put together a puzzle. There were board games and card games for all ages as well. We went out on the canoes and row boat. I appreciated the plentiful supply of life jackets. The view was amazing and the entire setting relaxing. While restaurants were a 20-minute drive, every single one we tried was 5 stars. The food was reasonably price and delicious. The cabin was clean, there were plenty of towels and there was wood pile was stocked. We loved that our four-legged friend was welcomed. This is a great location for a family group to use as a home base to explore upper Maine and have fun or just a great place to chill.

Robinson's Cottages is a seasonal vacation cottage business run by the same family for over 100 years. The 7 cottages and single tent site are all located on one property overlooking the Dennys River and a private pond in Edmunds Township, ME. Each cottage retains it's privacy with plenty of space and woods in between. Six of the cottages are log and are located on either the river or the pond. One cottage is a small clapboard house and is located on a sunny hillside overlooking the entrance. The tent site is located in a shady spot at a bend in the river.
