Beautiful artists apartment

Bruno was extremely helpful and his apartment has one of the most extensive collections of his art and books. If you are not used to Climbing stairs(4th floor) it could be a problem. Directly across from small police station in a safe neighborhood .

Great Location!

The flat is situated ideally near several metro stations, Gare de L'Est & 10 mns from Gare Du Nord which makes it super accessible for day trips outside of Paris or longer. Several supermarkets in the area & some of the best bakeries in Paris are in the neighborhood. Some great choices for Restaurants nearby. Bruno was very polite & cordial and very responsive to our pre-booking messages and recommendations. The flat is an artist loft, located on the 4th floor of the building (no lift). It is the perfect size for our family of 5 and enjoyed having breakfast in the dining room. The flat is in dire need of a deep cleaning, fresh & newer towels would have been great & one towel per person for two weeks was not enough and seeing that the flat is only equipped with a washer and no dryer made it hard to dry them in the winter. Towels were very old & overused. A shower curtain is also needed. Water is all over the tile floor after one showers and one bath mat was also not enough. I purchased an extra one to rotate between the wet & dry one. Toilet bowl & floors were also dirty upon our arrival. Coffee maker was not cleaned, among other things. Overall, a deep deep cleaning of the apartment is needed and a coat of paint is also recommended. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Schöne Künstlerwohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und individuell gestaltet. Sie ist gut gelegen und man kann sehr gut mit dem Zug anreisen. Uns hat es in der Wohnung an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke!

un appartement parisien comme on les imagine

Merveilleux séjour dans ce bel appartement parisien, rempli de tableaux et de livres, on s'y est senti comme chez nous. La rue est tranquille, tout en étant proche de plusieurs grands boulevards et de la place de la République. Nombreux commerces à proximité, y compris des bars et restaurants. Stations de bus et de métro à quelques minutes. Parfait !

Super Wohnung

Es war wie ein Besuch bei Freunden. Die Wohnung ist individuell und originell eingerichtet. Viel Kunst. Eine phantastische Atmosphäre. Es ist alles da. Die Lage ist top: zentral, sehr gute Metro-Anbindung und es gibt auch zahlreiche Brasserien. Merci, Bruno e Veronique, dass wir bei Euch zu Gast sein durften. Gerne wieder einmal.

Eine wunderbare Wohnung, mit Charakter und in toller Lage

Die Wohnung ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für einen neugierigen Aufenthalt in Paris. Sie ist einfach und lebendig. Die Lage am Gare de l'Est ist ideal. Das Viertel (10. Arrondissement) ist multikulturell und zentral. Es gibt tolle Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäfte. Trotz des lebendigen Viertels war es nicht zu laut. Ganz toll ist die Nähe zum Canal St Martin. Die Wohnung hat viel Charakter. Die Bilder und Zeichnungen an den Wänden sind anregend und lebendig. Sogar ein Klavier gibt es! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert. Fazit: Großartig!

Great Place!

Bruno's apartment is perfect for a family who need a little space as there are 2 bedrooms. Clean, quiet and had everything you needed. It is close to 3 x metros, shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, bakeries and we felt safe. The stairs are a challenge with luggage but worth it! So are the steep steps up to the mezzanine bedroom. We have 3 suggestions - it needs warmer duvets as the summer ones don't quite keep you warm now that the temperatures are cooler. Better pillows please! And lastly the shower! Hang it up on the wall and install a curtain. It is an accident waiting to happen on the slippy wet floor. Otherwise it is perfect and we will return the next time we come to Paris xx

Apartment was perfect size for our family, very clean and beautifully decorated. Really enjoyed the art on the walls and also the very diverse neighborhood. Very easy home base location from which to navigate around Paris. Will be back!

Séjour très agréable dans très bel appartement, tout confort. Relation avec le propriétaire très facile et accueil sympathique à l'arrivée. Un petit bémol pour le quartier (enfin surtout la sortie du métro Château d'Eau) pour le reste proximité du Canal St Martin,... très agréable.

charmant appartement au coeur de Paris

Nous avons passé 5 jours dans cet appartement et y reviendrons les yeux fermés. L'emplacement est idéal, bien centré pour pouvoir se déplacer à pied, et également bien desservi par les métros. L'appartement est spacieux, plein de charme grâce aux peintures du propriétaire et étagères remplis de livres, et très confortable.

Sehr schöne Wohnung im 10. Arrondissement

Wir haben uns in der schönen Maisonettewohnung als Familie mit zwei Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt. Sowohl Check-In als auch Check-Out waren sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Die Lage ist mit drei nahen Metrostationen ein toller Ausgangspunkt, um Paris zu erkunden. Nettes Viertel mit kleinen Cafés und Restaurants am Canal St. Martin.

Excellent rapport report quality/prix

The apartment is exactly as the photos seen in HomeAway, very clean. Neighborhood with lots of supermarkets, perfect for a family having dinner at home. Several transportation options nearby, any point of Paris is less than 30 minutes from the appartment. Bruno was very nice and answered all my questions quickly. I strongly recommend and I will be there next in Paris! (please note: its a duplex in the 4th floor, without a lift)

Parisian feel with artistic flair!

A very comfortable place to call home for your stay with an eclectic artsy feel. The artwork displayed was amazing, the owner is an artist. It was absolutely a fantastic home to kick up your tired feet from long days of sight seeing and lots of room for all 5 of us to find our own space. Very near metro stations, a nice cultural feel to the neighbourhood and near one of the best patisserie's in Paris. Lovely communication from the owner and ease of check in and out with the cleaning lady. Highly recommend. Thank you for a fantastic family trip to Paris!

Logement typiquement parisien et confortable, situé dans un quartier très agréable. Métro et parkings proches, tous commerces aux alentours. Propriétaire disponible et réactif. A louer sans crainte !

Un charmant nid d 'artiste

Appartement très propre, très calme, spacieux, confortable, bien décoré, avec vue sur les toits de Paris. Ambiance d'artistes avec toutes les peintures du propriétaire. Des peintures de qualité, qui nous ont souvent emportés. On a adoré. Literie super confortable. Énergie très positive. Seuls défauts, s'il faut en trouver: pas d'ascenseur pour accéder au 4e étage, pas de rideau de douche et pas d'huile pour cuisiner...mais si on peut y revenir, on reviendra les yeux fermés.

"Appartement propre, conf...

"Appartement propre, confortable, très calme (oui, à Paris!), où on se sent bien. Déco sympa et bien équipé mais une petite réserve concernant la TV : un peu surannée et placée dans la chambre parentale...bof ! La situation de ce logement est excellente car centrale (près de République) et très bien desservie par le métro, en revanche, le quartier coté Château d''eau/Strasboug-St Denis nous a semblé plus "populeux" que populaire... Enfin, nous avons beaucoup apprécié l''amabilité et l''efficacité du propriétaire intervenu rapidement suite à un problème de wifi."

"E'' stata un''ottima vacanza. La casa è graziosa e dotata dei comfort necessari per chi vuole un punto d''appoggio. Il quarto piano senza ascensore per chi deve portare la spesa è un po'' pesante; ideale per chi vuole fare ginnastica. Il signor Bruno è una persona gentile e disponibile, non invadente. Consigliata!!"

"Appartement double en du...

"Appartement double en duplex, particulièrement agréable dans un quartier central très bien desservi par les transports en commun et doté de nombreux commerces. Le logement est très lumineux, très calme, bien équipé (y compris en cuisine) et très bien entretenu. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et tout est fait pour faciliter le séjour des hôtes. Il faut noter que cette location conviendra moins aux personnes à mobilité réduite (4e et 5e étage sans ascenseur)ou aux personnes accompagnées de petits enfants (une chambre est en duplex, deux autres chambres constituent un logement séparé de la location principale). Cette situation est néanmoins un atout s'il s'agit de loger plusieurs couples : chacun pouvant être "chez soi". A conseiller donc !"

"We have spent beautiful ...

"We have spent beautiful 2 weeks in this apartment during summer 2009. Being the primary residence of the renting family has its great advantages; lots of great music choices [hundreds of CD's], DVD's toys for the kids and endless literature. it feels like home and not like a rental apartment. I found the location amazing [and we know Paris extremely well], being the real Parisian neighborhood [but not one of the boring, posh ones - I guess it is a matter of personal taste]. 3-4 minutes walk from Faubourg Saint Denis street - one of the more interesting centers for ethnic restaurants. Excellent transportation, day and night, to all the tourist sights - though you can walk easily. 4th floor, walk-up with no elevator [good for getting rid of that extra croissant]. We will be back."
