Alec was so attentive and easy to communicate with, the house was perfect with amazing views and everything you could possibly need for a home away from home! Would 100% stay here again!

Amazing location/view

A group of 7 of us stayed at Alec’s property for skiing wolf creek. The location is amazing (super close to pagosa springs) and the view from the dining/living room is even better than the photos. Alec was very responsive and the check in/out process was easy and went smoothly. The property is stocked with anything you might need. We had a great time staying here!

cliffside rim beauty with canyon access

Beautiful house with great amenities in an awesome setting, close to town. Great owner, Alec, who is a wealth of info on the local and regional scene. Great tips on food, hiking and all other outside activity opportunities. Great location minutes from town, hiking trails, restaurants, shops. The house is supplied with everything you need to enjoy your time in the mountains. Hopefully we'll be back soon. We had a blast!

Super Comfy and well appointed

The home has been recently remodeled and feels like it’s new. Substantially better stocked than other homes we’ve rented over the past few years, and that made those extra little trips to the grocer unnecessary. When we did go to the store there are two nearby (City Market and a Walmart are both 5-10 minutes away). While it’s in a neighborhood it feels private as its strategically situated so you don’t notice neighbors to the sides , and from the back deck all you see is the small valley it overlooks. Located on the West side of Pagosa, it made most of our day trips shorter and more pleasant. HIGHLY recommend visiting Chimney Rock National Monument, it’s accessible without feeling too tamed. Also the drive up to Piedra Falls is breathtaking and highly recommended. Thanks again to our wonderful hosts!

Pagosa Springs Heaven

This property was everything we expected and more. It was a very nice home with great views and a really nice quiet location. It is a super easy drive up the mountain to ski Wolfe Creek. We would gladly stay here again and again!

This house on Caleta feels like home.

Always feels like we’re coming home when we get to Pagosa Springs and this wonderful house on Caleta. We want for nothing!!! Owner is wonderful to work with!!! This was our 3rd time and we will be back!!!

Cozy and Beautiful

The fireplace was awesome and warm! The house was lovely and had all we needed. The owner was very accessible and took care of questions we had. Even when we left he made sure we had information that would help us on our trip home! Great place to stay and the town of Pagosa Springs is quaint and charming! Hope we can return sometime in the future!

Aspen showcase

Beautiful house, beautiful view! The owner provided a large binder with useful info about the house, detailed descriptions and directions to prime scenic drives and hiking spots, dining and shopping suggestions, and various other fun things to do. This helped us plan our daily activities. The aspens had turned in all their golden glory, and the scenery as a whole was spectacular (wowing our two traveling companions who hadn't been to Colorado). The house itself offered every accommodation imaginable to make our stay there comfortable and carefree. Alec was available by email to answer any stupid question we had. All in all, a great trip, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we're still alive and kicking.

Didn't want to leave.

Our stay was fantastic! First time in Pagosa Springs and we loved it. House is fabulous, view is beautiful. My favorite part was sitting and watching wildlife right outside. Alec's binder of info was extremely helpful for us as first time visitors. Thanks for opening your house to us. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Words are not enough

Second time Pagosa Co, first time I was in a time share, will not be doing that again, this was the easiest place to check in, and check out. Communication with the Property Managers help make the stay great. Very helpful and the place was everything we expected

Alec is an amazing host, house will not disappoint!

This is by far the best home away experience we have ever had! Very clean home, outstanding views, lots of extras inside the house like bikes and ping pong table! An absolutely excellent host, Alec, went out of his way to proactively communicate area hikes and other information. Truly exceptional Alec! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Perfect place for a vacation!

This house was great to stay in for our vacation. The house was nice, the location was nice and couldn't ask for better views right outside the back windows. The house is also stocked with anything you could think of to need while away from home, even unexpected things. Alec was great to work with, he has a binder with tons of information about things to do etc which were quite helpful. We will definitely stay here again, it helped our vacation be great!!

Great house

We absolutely loved our time at the house! My biggest fear when renting is cleanliness, and thankfully the house was super clean. The layout of the house is nice, very roomy. This was a romantic getaway for my hubby & I so we spent a lot of time snuggling on the couch enjoying the beautiful views and watching the snow. The fireplace was nice and warm. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. Youll find spices, foil, flour, lots of little extras. The location was great, close to grocery stores & restaurants, but felt tucked away and private. Alec was awesome to communicate with, super responsive & obviously cares about you enjoying your trip. We will def be staying here again!!!!

Great home, spectacular views

A very comfortable home that includes every amenity needed to take maximum advantage of the many and varied activities available in the Pagosa Springs/Durango area. The owners have prepared the most detailed and informative guidebook that we have ever seen with a rental home and seem truly interested in maximizing the enjoyment of the renter. Adjacent to the San Juan National Forest (Gate 8 is approximately 200 yards from the front door) - many walking, hiking and biking trails. A great place to do it all or do nothing. Beautiful, quiet and private.

Amazing two week stay!!!

Allec/Christy has created the most homey feeling possible. The home is filled/equipped with every need a family might encounter. The neighborhood is quiet pleasant during the daytime as well as at night. One of my favorite features is the windows that run across the entire length of the living/dining area which gives you a great view--occasionally seeing the beautiful wildlife that roams freely throughout the canyon and yards of the home. Truly a wonderful stay!!

Spring Break 2018

This is our 3rd trip to Pagosa in 3 years and we always have a wonderful. The town is small and friendly, perfect for getting away from the fast pace of the big city. The home is amazing and very inviting. Everything that you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable is available. There are even gloves/boots/sleds to borrow for the snowy days. A ping pong table in the garage is an added bonus. The house offers great views of the canyon below and we were even surprised on our last day with 3-4 inches of fresh snowfall. The snow made the canyon view even more beautiful. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

Fantastic house! Peaceful, bright and secluded.

We had a great time staying here, it is a perfect place to stay in Pagosa Springs. It is close to town and we got to the Wolf Creek Ski Area in 30-40 minutes every day. The huge windows overlooking the canyon just puts you in a peaceful state of mind. Alec and Cristy have thought of everything to make your stay successful. There is a huge binder of ideas and descriptions of activities in the area, organized by season! They also let you know their opinion of all the local places to eat and hike. The house itself is a few houses down from a trailhead, so you don't need to travel far at all to start your vacation! The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from humidifiers to extra comforters to an expansive DVD collection. I'm ready to go back and I just got home!

Beautiful spacious accommodations with lovely private views over a box canyon.

My wife and I spent a few days there and did a number of drives into the high country. Alec was thoughtful Andy gracious. We would definitely stay there again.
