Great house and great location! Right across from beach access. Spacious seating inside and out. Large screened in porch is very inviting. Owners are accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be back!

House was GREAT for our family

House was very clean and the walk to the beach was very convenient! Having owned vacation rental property myself in the past, I tend to be pretty picky about where we stay. Everything at this house was GREAT! We would definitely stay here again.

Donna is a consummate host with great communication! The location is wonderful, second row from the beach and very close to a public beach access. The bedrooms were plentiful and spacious and the kitchen well stocked.

WEDDING WEEKEND

Our 60 year old groom and his young adult children stayed at this VRBO. It was just what they needed. It provided SUCH a great flavor of what off season Pawleys Island is all about. Thank you for the great memories!!!!

Perfect long weekend getaway

We loved this house for our long weekend with friends/family. The house was perfect for quick walks to the beach and just a short drive to restaurants and shops. The bedrooms are perfectly situated with very comfortable beds. The owners made the check in/check out process so easy we never had to contact them. We would definitely rent here again!

Weekend getaway with friends

We enjoyed the house and especially the location. The beach was just across the street with easy access. There were great restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Thank homeowners are great. Great communication and very friendly.

Easy beach access

Our family has been vacationing off and on in the North Litchfield Pawley's Island area for decades. We love the traditional feel of the "Shabby Chic" beach house. This house fit the bill perfectly. Additionally the house was very well stocked. We wanted for nothing.

Great Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful Christmas vacation in this house. The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. It was wonderful being a short walk from the beach. Our favorite was sitting on the front porch enjoying the warm weather. The host was very nice and helpful and she even had a Christmas tree set up! We hope to return for a Summer vacation.

Perfect family beach house

Our family loved staying here! Great location, easy to get everywhere in Pawleys. So close to the beach, very easy access, and you can hear the ocean from the house. We could have stayed on the relaxing screened in front porch all day, which easily accommodated all seven of us. Plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, which was a great extra. Well stocked kitchen: plenty of cups and mugs and we made a huge dinner for seven adults easily! Beds and pillows are very comfy, much better than most rentals. We were sad to leave!

The hosts were so kind and accommodating. The entire experience was pleasant with no problems .

The home was sweet and cozy. The home is not a 5 star home because it simply isn’t newly remodeled as expected. It’s an amazing old Pawleys home that reminds me of my childhood. Great rental but not comparable to a newer home. We had a great time though with no major problems:)

Nice little getaway

Donna was an excellent host! She was communicative and honest throughout the entire process. The check-in process was so simple. The property was just as it was described/pictured online. Everything was clean and we had a nice little welcome set-up (including cleaning essentials, coffee, drinks, snacks, etc.). We went in November, so we were unable to take full advantage of all the outdoor fun, but it worked well for our short trip with extended family.

Perfect Place

We were looking for a relaxing get away for several days and this home is just right. We loved the style of this old beach home. It truly was well appointed with everything we needed and more. The owner was so attentive. Anything we needed, it was provided. I loved our little welcome gift waiting on us. The weather was cooler than we excepted, so we did not get to use the outdoor area downstairs, but we did use the grill one evening for steaks and it worked great. There were plenty of beach chairs for all of us, so that was great not to have to haul them in the car. Perfect beach house for relaxing and enjoying time with family.

Donna Hollars är värd

My husband grew up in both Asheville, NC and Litchfield Beach and I grew up in Chattanooga, TN. We are 3rd generation owners and been a part of this area for more than 50 years. Together, we have (2) awesome children, 29 (hard to believe!) and 21. We love coming to the beach with our charcoal lab, Gray. The children and doggie have grown up coming to this house and love it as much as we do! Don't mention the word 'beach' to Gray as he will not let you leave without him!!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We call the Marejo 'home' as it's where we get away from it all ~ demands of work, community, school, and activities. This is where our family can exhale with great friends and family. When we do get to come, we look forward to a quick home cooked dinner on the first night so we can hit the beach, enjoy a gorgeous sunset and play Mexican train dominoes. We taught our children to play and it's a staple for our visits. Our days consist of lots of beach time, crabbing, fishing, porch sitting, reading and a bit of shopping.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our home is on 2nd row so we are approx. 80 steps to the ocean directly across the street. Just sitting on the rocking chair front porch and breathing the salt air will put the saltiest soul at ease.
