Detta härliga nya hem som ligger i Eastsound på Orcas Island är modernt, rent och fullt av ljus, det har huvudvåning med sovrummet (king size-säng) och bad i samma våning som vardagsrum, matsal och kök. Det är bara två steg upp till verandan från nivå uppfarten. På nedre våningen hittar du en TV-rum, med en queen-size bäddsoffa, ett andra sovrum med två enkelsängar en bekväm fönsterplats plus ett badrum. Det finns även två uppfällbart futon för mindre gäster som du kanske vill sova nära genom. Separationen från entréplan till den lägre nivån är mycket tillmötesgående för människor som vill ha lite privatliv från andra gäster. Eller bara en lugn stund för sig själva. Alla rum har utsikt över vattnet, inklusive badrummet om du lämnar dörren öppen. :-)

Scenic Eastsound Stay

Tina was an excellent host and our stay in Eastsound was amazing. We walked to town several times, and Eastsound is not a far drive from West Beach public access, Moran State Park, Turtleback Mountain Preserve, etc. The property has great views and it was nice to sit on the deck in the mornings and evenings when we got back.

Scenic View

The house looked just like the photos, complete with a water view from the upper level. Bed was comfortable. The road up to the house took a little getting use to. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

Perfect Stay on Orcas

Tina’s house had everything we needed for a perfect stay on Orcas. The kitchen was well-stocked and organized and everything was spotlessly clean. The three of us were so comfortable here. I especially appreciated having plenty of towel racks in the bathrooms, something that not all rentals offer. The view was spectacular, and we loved being able to enjoy it from the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Such a treat! Tina’s communication was excellent, with helpful emails ahead of time, such as her instructions about the ferry (you must have a reservation!). I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful house.

Amazing view and home

Absolutely loved our stay here. The view is stunning and the house is well-appointed. We appreciated how dog-friendly the home is and how close it is to Eastsound. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay!

Incredible location close to the best bars and restaurants in town. Stocked kitchen to cook a delicious meal for the 4 of us. Comfortable beds and very clean, would rent again.

Wonderful get away!

We booked The Lookout last minute for our Spring Break get away. Couldn't have been a better stay. Lovely property, quiet and tucked away but very close to the shops and restaurants in Eastsound. Would love to visit again during the summer months!

Great stay

Beautiful & Well-Appointed Orcas Home Base

We stayed at this property in February 2025 with an 8-month old baby and found it incredibly suited to our needs. It was easy to find from the ferry, very conveniently located near downtown Eastsound and all of the restaurants and shops, and extremely well outfitted. We had everything needed to cook, store and reheat food. The house had books for our little ones and puzzles for mom & dad. There were umbrellas, beach towels, and all of the cleaning supplies needed to keep up with a baby on the move. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable and the view each morning was stunning. This home is right on the flight path for incoming seaplanes, and we enjoyed tracking their arrivals from the kitchen windows. Excellent stay! Great for a family who will spend a decent amount of time at home in between exploring the island(s).

Perfect trip!

We loved our stay here! It was wonderfully close to town, and the view was spectacular! I loved the huge windows and watching the sunrises! They also had a great selection of dvds for those rainy days to warm up inside after a long hike!

My son Reed and I built this home in 2013/2014. It's a labor of love and a dream come true for me. A long time visitor to the island since 1998 when I was married at Rosario Resort. After visiting several times a year we got an opportunity to own a little place of our own here on this beautiful island.
I wanted it to feel like a getaway and be completely different from our home in Bellingham, hence the modern design and bright colors. It's fun and always puts a smile on my face. I also wanted to capture the amazing view and have a whole wall of windows facing south to the inlet of Eastsound. Having all the window focused on just one wall also provides an amazing amount of privacy. You can't help but stare out the window where you can see eagles soaring and the occasional small plane flying into town.
