Ett spektakulärt nybyggt modernt hem beläget strax norr om San Diego och La Jolla och strax söder om Del Mar.

Titta inte längre, du har hittat ett riktigt vackert hem att semester i. Fyllt med smakfull konst och intima utrymmen, kom koppla av i de många utomhusluckorna "hang outs" efter en utmärkt dag på stranden, en otrolig poäng på Torrey Pines Golf Course eller en handfull segrar på Del Mar Horse Racing Track.

Gästerna kommer att ha tillgång till hela 3 våningar utom garage och förråd. Fullt kök och utomhus BBQ ö.

Mitt grannskap är väldigt arkitektoniskt mångfaldigt. Det är boken slutade av State Park i norr och lagunen i söder. Naturlig skönhet finns i överflöd. Detta är en av de mest eftertraktade strandsamhällena i San Diego. Det finns fyra, och snart 5, utmärkta restauranger inom 2 minuters promenad.

Det finns en tågstation i norr och söder. Den offentliga busshållplatsen ligger precis vid kusten västerut, cirka 5 minuters promenad.
Du kommer att få en utmärkt upplevelse i mitt hem. Husdjur? - låt oss prata om det. Familjer är välkomna.

Huset ligger cirka 17 mil norr om San Diego flygplats. Det är cirka 2 mil väster om motorvägen Interstate 5. Den närmaste järnvägsstationen ligger cirka 5 mil norr om Solana Beach. Det finns vanligtvis många taxibilar på järnvägsstationen och flygplatsen.

I love this house!

This home is totally unique with a lot of beautiful and personal touches. There are balconies everywhere and the rooftop area is spectacular!It is actually much better than the photos.A really great place to stay.

Great Getaway

Del Mar diamond

Our family had a wonderful experience at this property. Everything was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We loved the rooftop deck overlooking the ocean, interesting architecture, and collection of original artwork throughout the house. A step up from your typical VRBO experience. The location is perfect for walks to the beach, around the corner for coffee, and easy access to the freeway. Check in/out was seamless. We hope to return. Thank you Cam!

Gorgeous House

The house was filled with beautiful pottery, paintings, and design objects. It was immaculate, comfortable and spacious. The house is much nicer than the pics show. I will definitely recommend to friends.

Great stay at a beautiful property! Our only complaint was the construction that started sometimes at 5:30-6 am. Other than that, it was fabulous and Cam is a super host!!!

Loved this property!

We were extremely happy with our stay here, and have already recommended to others! This is such a unique home, in a fabulous location. We had plenty of room for our family of 5 and loved all the outdoor spaces. The house is walking distance to one of the best beaches in the area, near a handful of great restaurants, and in a quiet neighborhood. Cam was so friendly and helpful, and we had everything we needed for a fabulous beach vacation. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Del Mar house with character and quiet

We arrived to a super clean house all set up for a week of relaxation. The house has lots of cool art and many wonderful places to enjoy being outside. Beautiful gardens/landscaping. Super cool neighborhood perfect for walks to beach. Cameron was quick to respond to requests and made sure we had everythin we needed for a relaxing week. Really wonderful VRBO experience!

Beautiful home and location

This is a very special place and Cameron is a wonderful host. We've been visiting Del Mar for 40 years but had never stayed in Torrey Pines. We loved it there. Cameron's home is beautiful and filled with art, yet very comfortable. The setting overlooking the lagoon is quiet and peaceful. It's a five minute walk to Torrey Pines State Beach. Our little grandson loved riding there in the wagon that Cameron provides. We loved the views from the upper deck, enjoying sunsets and dinners up there. We hope to return!

Absolutely Great Place to Stay!!

The house itself is very cool, interesting architectural design, cool layout etc. Adding the location on top of that, makes the place amazing - there are 4 restaurants, a convenience store and a great coffee shop within 3 blocks. The beach is about 1/4 to 1/2 mile walk and is one of the better beaches in the SD area - we had driven down to Coronado and after about 30 minutes realized we liked the beach next to this place more and just went back there for the day. My family stayed here for a week and didn't want to leave at all - hands down was in our top 3 family vacations of all time. I would highly recommend to anyone, if you are reading this and on the fence - don't hesitate to book it, you will not regret it.

We loved our stay at this beautiful perfectly located home

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation house and it's one of our favorite homes we have vacationed in. We were coming into San Diego to visit our student at UCSD and this is a great house for parents of UCSD students coming into town. It's conveniently located a few minutes drive from campus and it's just a short walk from a beautiful beach. The home was clean, and beautifully decorated. There was lots of space for all of us and our two teenagers travelling with us loved they could walk to coffee, pizza, tacos and the beach very easily. We are looking forward to our next visit and plan to make this our home base when traveling to San Diego with our teenage kids. This was a perfect vacation rental, with comfortable beds, everything we needed in the kitchen and a beautiful home.

Perfect beach property

Not on the beach so it’s quiet and not crowded Close to everything and the 5 freeway is 3 minutes away The upper deck has a very cool view and seating to enjoy coffee or cocktails before dinner It’s perfect to watch the sunset over the ocean Beds are very comfortable The only issue we had was the grill didn’t get hot enough to seat the tri tip we bought at Seaside Market. I had to moved the whole preparation inside to the oven The art all over the house is really cool and gives the house character. This is a great house and great location I recommend it highly

Amazing home near great family friendly beach

Loved the decor. This home features quite a bit of interesting art work. Enjoyed plugging in the iPhone and dancing on the upstairs lookout floor as well as lounging in the Tv room watching one of the many great flicks Owner has available. Great grill but make sure to turn on the rotisserie if you need to get it hot. Cooks chicken like a charm. Beach is a really close walk and the spot by the bridge is great for toddlers. Lots of kitchen amenities including a ton of spices but keep an eye out for out-of-date items. There is a train that runs nearby, and you can hear it run by with horn at night.

Thornburn property in Del Mar made for a wonderful vacation

The Thornburn property was wonderful for our beach vacation! It was well appointed and very clean. The short walk from the house to the Torrey Pines beach was easy and the beach is beautiful. The house is well located with views of the ocean and the estuary at Torrey Pines beach. There are several lovely private spots on the property for quiet reflection, outdoor dining and reading. The roof top deck with its ocean view was a favorite. There are several steps within the home to reach the different levels so someone that has trouble navigating stairs may find it a challenge. We however loved the different levels of the home and found it made for interesting architecture and the views from the bedroom level and the rooftop were excellent. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with which made our vacation at his home very stress free.

Serene, beautiful and residential

We spent one week with our family of four adults at Cameron's beautiful, Spanish-style home and it was one of our best Xmas vacations. It felt like home away from home as Cameron's house is very comfortable in part because of his apparent love for architecture, art and playful decor. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and state park and right across the street from a day-time roost of a family of night herons, perfect for us nature lovers. When we came back from watching the sunset on the beach, the herons left for their night shift feeding in the saltmarsh and during the day they were snoozing right across from us while we were lounging on the rooftop terrace. The latter was our preferred spot to relax when we were home during the day, and the views of the sunset, salt marsh and beach were beautiful. Thank you, Cameron.

LOCATION

The location to the beach is wonderful. If that is # one, then a great place to stay. Could it use a deep clean, absolutely. Day one, I bought a new coffee maker, toilet paper, laundry detergent and other basics. I do not think that is too much to ask, that those basics would be there. I unclogged two drains, emptied one of the vacuums (yuck). I stayed a month so I got a good idea of the area. Can it be a bit noisy, yup! It is near the beach and three small restaurants, so smells and noise are inevitable. He is nice and responsive.....but are there issues, yes

Loved it Two Times

Our recent stay at this Del Mar Heights property was the second for our family in the past few years. The decision to return reflects how much we enjoyed the property (and location) during our initial visit; and the return engagement did not disappoint. This wonderfully eclectic property again served as an ideal base for our family vacation. The well-equipped home has plenty of spaces to gather – or retreat – as desired, and a third-floor, ocean-view deck serves as a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening beverage. The home is located in walking distance from the Torrey Pines State Beach and a variety of eateries, and just a short drive from Del Mar Beach and the nearby shopping district. As was the case with our original stay, the property owner was terrific in terms of communication and responsiveness and was truly committed to ensuring we had an enjoyable experience. We look forward to our next visit to Del Mar and, we hope, this property!

This Delightfully Eclectic Del Mar Home is the Perfect Base for a San Diego-Area Escape

This wonderfully eclectic property served as an ideal base for our recent vacation in the San Diego area. Nestled in a Del Mar Heights neighborhood, the home’s three levels and multiple outdoor patios, balconies, and decks provided our family with plenty of space to gather together for meals and conversation, and to separate when we craved space to relax. The home is bright and quirky with a remarkable assortment of whimsical décor. Our favorite spot was the third-floor deck, which we affectionately termed the crow’s nest. The deck serves as a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book in the morning, offering scenic views of the hills and ocean in the distance. Speaking of the ocean, the home is conveniently located in walking distance from the Pacific Ocean (Torrey Pines State Park). And the Powerhouse Park and Beach, Solana Beach, and many other Del Mar dining and shopping amenities are located just a short drive away. Even closer is a trendy coffee shop (Bird Rock Coffee Roasters) and several dining options (we particularly enjoyed Roberto’s, a great little taco stand, and the West End Bar & Kitchen for lunch or dinner) – all just a short walk away. The owner was gracious in providing a thorough overview of the property at check-in and immediately responsive when we had a minor issue with the hot water (which we had unknowingly caused by accidentally tripping the switch to the hot water tank). The home has everything you need to enjoy your time at the property (grill, kitchen accessories, washer and dryer, etc.), and even some gear (boogie boards, footballs, etc.) for the beach. All told, our experience with this property and owner was outstanding, which contributed to a very enjoyable escape to one of our very favorite destinations.
