A week in February, its a really an easy to get to spot, perfect for travelling up and down the coast. Communication was swift and clear and a big thanks to Angel opening a supermarket late on a Sunday evening

Lovely property

A great week in a family oriented villa. Well equipped. Pool is too small for an adult to swim more than a couple of strokes but a good size for young children and for the whole family to cool off. It would be nice to have some information about the local area, such as good places to eat out etc. Previous reviews have mentioned the steep approach to the property but the owner supplies excellent suggestions and details on the best way to negotiate the bends and to enter the property. Well worth the effoirt for the spectacular views and all the facilities and entertainment options included. The owner was very helpful at all times and even provided some fresh fruit from the garden. We really enjoyed our stay.

Winter Getaway

This place was just what we needed to escape the cold Canadian winter for a month. Communication was swift and easy with Estibalez who spoke English. We communicated with her father through Google translate when we had questions. The house was charming and quaint with lots of Spanish charm. We only used one of the four bedrooms and thought the bedding and towels could be updated and refreshed. We really appreciated individual room heating especially at night for the few couple of weeks as the temperature dropped when the sun went down. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. By the middle of our trip we were taking our meals outdoors to the patio to take in the marvellous views of the sea which was one of the reasons we chose this place. However, the trip up the winding road to get to those views was a little nerve wracking especially when meeting an oncoming car with no place to pass or pull over. You will need a rental car to enjoy this place, just make sure it is a smaller vehicle. You will need it to get into Almunecar for groceries and for day trips to the beaches around. It is well located for day trips to Granada, Nerja, the Caminito del Rey, Ronda and Frigiliana. All in all, this place was most enjoyable and the weather was was perfect for mid February to mid March.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Wir haben neun wunderbare Tage in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. So ein gut ausgestattetes Haus hatten wir selten. Kommunikation war ebenfalls einwandfrei- sowohl im Vorfeld als auch bei Fragen vor Ort.

Toller Urlaub in ruhiger Lage

Das Haus war toll, viel Platz, alle möglichen Küchengeräte. Mit Terasse, Pool , Tischkicker und Billard waren unsere Kinder ständig draußen und beschäftigt. Die Aussicht war grandios, besonders abends.

Wunderbares Haus-perfekt ausgestattet

Wir genossen Anfang Oktober wunderbare Tage in diesem Haus. Es ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, es fehlte an nichts. Eine große Terrasse, wenn nötig überdacht, ein schöner Pool, Billard, Kicker usw. Eigentlich brauchte man gar nicht weg.

Ein toller Urlaub....

Die Finca hatte alles was das Herz begehrt und der Ausblick war wirklich jeden Morgen immer wieder fantastisch. Die Vermieter waren super nett und sehr bemüht uns alle Fragen zu beantworten und uns unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Alles in Allem ein sehr gelungener und schöner Urlaub.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit traumhafter Aussicht

Das Ferienhaus liegt etwas oberhalb mit traumhafter Aussicht auf die Bucht von Almunecar. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist abenteuerlich, sehr steil. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Lediglich das Badezimmer ist sehr klein (das obere Badezimmer haben wir zu zweit nicht genutzt) und die Duschabtrennung auf der Badewanne sollte geölt werden - sehr schwergängig. Der Kontakt zum Eigentümer war prima und die Abwicklung war reibungslos. Der Außenbereich mit Pool ist ein Traum. Wir haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen.

Geweldig

Wij verbleven met een ander koppel voor een weekje in het huis. Het was fijn dat er van te voren een duidelijk meeting point wordt afgesproken (onderaan de berg) zodat je de eigenaar kan achtervolgen naar boven (google maps is niet heel duidelijk mede door de verbinding). De weg was even wennen maar te doen! Ontzettend mooi uitzicht, wel een klein zwembad maar prima voor 4pers om even af te koelen. Wat ook fijn was, is dat er 2 opgangen zijn. Ideaal voor 2 koppels. Je hebt een bovenverdieping met een grote slaapkamer en badkamer. Beneden 2 woonkamers (kun je van elkaar afsluiten) voor als je meer privacy wilt en de keuken + andere slaapkamers en nog een badkamer. Er is plek voor max. 2 auto’s. Veel spullen zoals handdoeken, spelkaarten, keukengerei, pannen, kaasfondue, koffieapparaat en gourmetstel is aanwezig, eigenlijk alles wat je nodig hebt! Communicatie via whatsapp op locatie was prima. Kortom heerlijke vakantie gehad, bedankt!

Great location, relaxing place to stay and had everything we needed.

We were a family of six and stayed here in July 2022 and I would consider staying at the property again. Great property 10-15 minutes’ drive to Almunecar (centre, supermarkets, beaches, and waterpark) with everything we needed and great views (take some binoculars). Excellent facilities including kitchen, bathrooms, washing areas (lots of hanging space near the kitchen and also further out into the garden), pool is a good size and bigger than what it looks in the pictures, and also lots of shaded areas to relax and eat. The outside games were a bonus (pool and table football), they were a great distraction if you needed to get out of the sun during the day – we also had a competition going on throughout the holiday. Great communication with friendly father and daughter - this was a trip planned that we had to delay due to the pandemic. We had a couple of problems during our stay and the Juan came the same day and sorted it out. If you are the driver you will have to get used to the road up to the villa, although after a couple of runs it starts to get a lot easier. It's up hill with a few sharp turns, but you get used to it. We had an 8-seater people-carrier so I imagine it would be much easier in a normal car. The only minor point is that we couldn’t walk to places as we had an older parent with us. It is possible to walk to places although you have to walk across some main roads at the bottom of the hill. We would have done this normally. There are no close shops/restaurants to nip to, so you will need a car to eat out or maybe a car plus a moped to nip to the shops. However, if you want to do a big shop and be locked away from people then this is an ideal place for you – it’s close to Almunecar but isolated, we only saw the owner and one neighbour and there is no through traffic. Overall great stay and would consider going again and would highly recommend.

Amunecar op zijn best

Wij logeerden in een prachtige villa, gelegen op een hoogte met een fantastisch uitzicht. De villa voldeed volledig aan onze verwachtingen en het contact met de eigenaar en de ontvangst ter plaatse was zeker dik in orde. Een adres om zeker te onthouden en eventueel terug te keren. Bernard

Wunderschöne Villa.

Tolle Villa oberhalb von Almunecar mit schönem Blick aufs Meer. Die Villa hat alles was man für einen perfekten Urlaub benötigt. Küche Tip Top ausgestattet. Grill, Pool, Waschmaschine, TV, alles in sehr guter Qualität vorhanden. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist zwar etwas steil, doch nach 2x Hochfahren hat man den Bogen raus.

Urlaub mit Meerblick

Das Haus hat fast alles, was für einen Urlaub mit der Familie oder mit Freunden erforderlich ist. Die Küche ist gut ausgerüstet, die vier Schlafzimmer haben gute Betten und auf der großen Terrasse mit Meerblick tritt man sich nicht auf die Füße. Der Billard-Tisch und das Tischfußball-Spiel wurden fleißig benutzt. Der Wasserboiler ist für die Anzahl Personen vielleicht etwas unterdimensioniert, aber im Sommer kann man auch mal kalt duschen und danach in den eigenen Pool springen. Leider war es in der zweiten Woche häufig sehr windig, sodass man die schöne Terrasse nicht immer nutzen konnte. Dann boten sich Ausflüge in die Umgebung an, in der es viel zu sehen gibt. Insgesamt war es ein gelungener und erholsamer Urlaub. Die Gastgeber sind unkompliziert und freundlich und gaben im Vorfeld bereitwillig Auskunft auf alle meine Fragen. Während des Aufenthalts sind sie jederzeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Ich kann das Ferienhaus nur empfehlen.

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit toller Aussicht auf das Meer

Es war ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub. Der Kontakt im Vorfeld und während des Aufenthalts mit Familie Castillo war sehr gut. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, komplett ausgestattet, bietet viel Platz und hat eine schöne große Terrasse mit sehr schöner Aussicht auf die Bucht und das Meer. Komme gerne wieder.

Vue imprenable

La maison était parfaitement propre et bien équipée (il y a même une cafetière filtre !). La climatisation est présente dans toutes les pièces de la maison. L’accès à la maison est un peu impressionnant les premières fois. La vue est hypnotisante, ce qui permet d’oublier le ronronnement de la circulation. Les plages aux alentours sont en mélange de cailloux et sable, le supermarché n’est pas loin. L’équipement de la maison est idéal avec des ados (piscine, fléchettes, babyfoot et billard). Idéal pour du farniente!
