The Whaler ligger i hjärtat av Kaanapali Beach där butiker, restauranger, golfbanor och strandaktiviteter ligger precis runt hörnet! Ingen bil behövs för att njuta av din semester eftersom allt är gångavstånd från bostadsrätt.

Detta vackra ett sovrum och två badrum är rökfria OCEANFRONT villa (941 kvm) är en av de bästa platserna på orten! Det ligger precis på andra våningen vetter direkt mot stranden och havet! Med tanke på dess plats är poolen, stranden och andra bekvämligheter bara några steg bort! Lägenheten (enhet 251 i Tower II) har ett kök med bänkskivor i granit och apparater i rostfritt stål, och mycket mer! Enheten har en king size-säng samt en bäddsoffa och rymmer upp till fyra personer. Njut av den hisnande, fria havsutsikten direkt från din egen personliga lindning runt Lanai (ytterligare 408 kvadratmeter)!

OBS: Whalerpoolen kommer att stängas för reparationer i september 2019. Gästerna kommer att ha tillgång till Ka'anapali Beach Hotels vackra pool som ligger bredvid Whaler-anläggningen.

Our Favorite Hawaii Destination

This Whaler unit is the BEST location and the fresh total renovation is spectacular. We stay there every year, and we've already booked next year.

Our happy place

This is our second time staying in this room. The property owners are very friendly and so helpful. The room itself is absolutely wonderful. The view is breathtaking. You can’t beat the close walk to anything you may need. The beach is just steps away. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely return! Thank you!

Heaven on the ocean

Location, location, location on the beachfront was absolutely perfect and best view of 180 degrees of sunrises, sunsets, rainbows, full pink moon. Incredible! The condo is inviting, wonderful welcoming decor. Bathrooms are great. The two patios are such a bonus. I would not stay anywhere else when in this area of Lahaina/Kanapali. Whalers Village next door easy walking to restaurants. The view of the ocean and all its glory amazing. Thank you Susie and Michael. Jane and Tim

Terrific ocean front unit

Anniversary trip

Would absolutely stay here again! The location, the amenities, the VIEW!! While it was a little outdated and there were a few bulbs out, it was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the lanai was amazing, and being so close to shopping and dining at Whaler’s village was very convenient.

Wonderful!

This was our second time staying at this property. The condo is absolutely perfect. Very clean, it had everything we needed and the location is just spectacular . Michael and Susie were very responsive to every question we had and were very kind and helpful when we got delayed due to a cancelled flight. Looking forward to staying here each time we are in Maui.

Great property. Sure, not as updated as some, but best location with the best view. Kitchen has what is needed to cook most any meal including utensils for the BBQ grills. Spacious living area, bedroom and 2 baths. Amazing lanai. All shows some wear, but doesn't affect the view. Would be happy to come back again.

Lovely condo right in the heart of activity

Due to a flood farther south on the island, I was scrambling to find a new location for my vacation at the last minute. There just happened to be a recent opening and I grabbed it. Even though some furnishings have been well loved over time, the condo is clean and comfortable with an incredible view. Next to shopping, restaurants, and boating tours and a beach that is amazing to walk on. All staff I encountered at the complex were amazing and any questions I had from the on-island managers of the condo were quickly answered. Thank you for saving my vacation!

Ocean front-wonderful

If you're looking for an ocean front property this, is it. But that is all it is. This property is extremely dated, outdoor furniture is rusted, indoor furniture is 1970's old and not comfortable. This unit needs a complete overhaul. Please do not judge The Whaler by this unit, we have been coming to The Whaler for over 20 years and have never been disappointed until now.

Can't beat the location on Kaanapali Beach, and the view

Can't beat the location on Kaanapali Beach, and the view. Large wrap around oceanfront lanai was a joy. There are certainly options with more luxurious interiors, but not with a better view/location in the building (as close to the water as you can get). Beach was laterally out the door, down some steps. Note people will be walking past the unit on the beach boardwalk all day. Being on the second floor didn't impact privacy inside the unit but will somewhat on the lanai. Unit was also large and spacious. We came from a short stay in a hotel on another island and really appreciated being able to stretch out. Whalers Village is a few yards away next door for shopping and dining. Mostly not a noise concern. Communication with the owner was the best possible. Even reaching out during our stay with a question we got an almost immediate response.

Oceanfront Corner Unit Review

Stayed for the week of July 4th. Whaler: Attentive staff, easy check in, very pretty property, well maintained, ample parking in either the underground garage or out by the tennis courts. Has shopping carts in the garage to assist getting items to condo. Nice pool. Tennis & Pickleball courts. Beach front, so great location. Owner very responsive. Clean. Pretty run down (as noted in other reviews). Desperately in need of paint, new carpet and a whole list of "honey do" projects--faucets either stiff and hard to operate or flat out leak all over the place (kitchen). Towel racks and TP holders loose. Need to use caution in sitting in some of the chairs (one of the dining chairs may collapse at any moment and your butt might get pretty close to the ground in one living room chair). No stock of paper towels, dish soap, garbage bags, dish washer pods were really old and crusty. Overall, a bunch of stuff like this. However, the kitchen appliances are nice, the kitchen is well equipped, all the doors, windows and screens work fine and it's a nice sized place. As long as you don't get bothered by the general neglect of the place, it's a great location in a great property and is a good home base on Maui for a week.

Buyer Beware

This was my 7th trip to Maui and second stay at the Whaler. We visited The Whaler a few years back but stayed in a different unit. We visited February 25 through March 4, 2017. Based on the pictures that the owner provided on the vrbo my husband and I knew that the unit had not recently been updated but it seemed ok for the price we paid to rent the unit. We were wrong. There was a problem with an infestation of ghost ants. On the second day of our honeymoon we noticed white ants crawling all over the kitchen countertops and up and down the white walls. They were coming from the drop ceiling in the kitchen which is in dire need of updating. (There is also a drop ceiling in the bathroom that is pretty gross and in need of updating but no ants) We informed the owner who was very responsive, which we appreciated. The maintenance tech for the property came to our unit and informed us that it needed to be remediated with pest control who could not arrive until the following day. The owner sent out a woman to clean the unit while we were at dinner, which was appreciated but I think she sent her there to scope out the place more than anything. The owner sent us a $100 gift certificate to a restaurant in an attempt to accommodate us. While we appreciated the gesture we thought it was weak. We paid to stay in the unit for a week and felt the concession offered to us did not appropriately reflect the inconvenience. Luckily the pest control showed up the next day and the treatment worked. The ants disappeared for a few days. However, to our dismay we noticed they were back the day before we were scheduled to depart. At this point we were ready to get the heck out of there. On a positive note, I will admit that the view from the property is one of the best on Maui. It is truly amazing! The owners are very responsive. We just had a bad experience. There are many upgraded units at the Whaler, you might have to pay a bit more but it's worth it.

Furniture issues

If you're looking for a place with wonderful views and great location, this is it. But if you're looking for an updated, nicely furnished unit. This is not it. We were embarrassed that the other couple we invited were forced to sleep on a fold-out with springs popping through. We knew about the fold-out, but never expected the mattress would be impossible to sleep on. In addition, the club chair was broken and one side rested on the floor. The dining room chairs were rickety and wobbly. Badly in need of new furniture. We were disappointed about this and expected better, but still enjoyed our stay overall.

Excellent location, but….

Great location and amazing views but the condo itself is very dated and worn. Furniture, carpet and mattress are in need of replacement and the bathroom is much overdue for overhaul. Owners very nice and sunsets overlooking ocean are spectacular. Just be prepared for a very worn living unit.

Awesome view from every angle.

Great location. Large wrap around balcony with amazing views of the ocean. Large apartment, very comfortable. Furnishings a tad dated and has wall to wall carpet which I never like. But ….with all that said you are in such a great spot all of the negatives really don’t matter. Loved our stay!
