On the green

Our first impression of the property came from the property manager, Dennis, who gave us the best into to this pristine, newly rennovated condo. He did the best job of anyone in the 30 years that we have been coming to the desert--none of this texting the door codes 15 minutes before check-in time. He met us and walked us through the unit explaining its features. We didn't have to read conflicting info in some outdated binder that was on the coffee table.

Excellent location with views of the 10th green at La Quinta. Unique decor in comfortable home Could use a bit more TLC but overall a very pleasant stay.

This is our 2nd time staying at the unit, the updated kitchen and floors were lovely. The location is convenient to the resort and golf club. Beautiful views, clean interior, a perfect grass space in front of the course for family football.

Nice spacious villa

This is a spacious 3 bedroom and 3.5 bath villa. (One is a casita). Great for golf getaway. Kitchen is well stocked as are towels, bathroom necessities. Bathrooms need updating as well as some of the beds.

A perfect place even tho the weather wasn't.

Casa Bonita has it all for the price: lovely location, good furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, an outdoor spa, nicely maintained condo and a great owner, Kathy , with whom you deal:she was so accommodating,even though was abroad at that time. Her manager, Dennis, was top-notch.We will return again! The weather was an issue; we were there during the Montecito mudslides ,but didn't get drenched as they did...it rarely pours in Palm Springs area, but it can happen.Besides, the condo also had many books, games and movies to watch while it drizzled. Not a problem. Another plus: wonderful, plush towels in the bathrooms.

Very Disappointment

After a month visit, there should be a standard supplies for the Villa: No toilet brushes in any of the 4 bathrooms – that’s totally ridiculous & inexcusable The toilet seat in guest bathroom is stained rusty, as it’s sooo old, - Replace it ! it’s totally disgusting !!! No bucket or mop or anything to properly wash the WHITE TILE floors Plumbing issues: Kitchen water Facet is broken; doesn’t fit in its socket, and so there not enough water pressure, thus the hot water takes a lot longer to get to kitchen Master shower facet is leaking Master Tub Cold tap is leaking – you can see the stain on the tub from years of leakiness… no cookie trays in kitchen – we didn’t think it was appropriate that the manager asked us to go & purchase the item(s) & then we could be reimbursed, (to have to do the shopping for the owners or management is not right) Part of the White Tile floor in the dinning room is heaving and you can feel the tiles moving, so this indicates a problem underneath the tile floor. We are aware the owners know the Kitchen is horribly outdated, but with crackled cabinetry & cracked tile on the counters (at sink area), as well as on the backside of the sink cabinet is discoloured near the floor, doesn’t show well for asking so much rent for a decerped kitchen. The pictures in the VRBO, as very deceiving and don’t show the real reflection & condition of the Villa. It would have been nice to have another set of King Bed sheets (as the brown top sheet is showing ripping) Maybe you could ask the owners if they wanted to spend 12K+ and come and stay here for a month and see if they could understand from our prospective. It really doesn’t take much to fix, replace or change these basic issues and it would show to the renters that the owners are respecting that people are staying at their Villa. Either the owners or the property manager should be checking on the condition of the Villa after EACH visit. And its so unfortunate that we have to write this note.

Great location & lovely unit

We’ve been staying in Santa Rosa Cove for years and this unit is tastefully decorated. Bathrooms are a bit dated but clean. Would definitely recommend for a family.

Great location and views

The golf course (the green to watch golfers putt or chip out of sand traps) is the view from the patio and living area. The mountains are the view from the hot tub/courtyard or front door. For my husband and me, and visiting adult children with an infant, the views, proximity to pool and walking to La Quinta Resort restaurants and amenities, was perfect. The property itself is dated, but in very good condition. Dennis, the property manager, was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely look at this property for future visits.

Delightful desert stay.

The owner and manager were very responsive. The property is very well equipped with dishes, supplies, serve ware, appliances, cookware, utensils, towels, blankets and pillows. Everything one needs in a home away from home. It is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Spacious with nice views. Comfortable beds. Nice amenities and appointments. A lovely place which my family greatly enjoyed and to which we would gladly return.

A great last minute unexpected get away

We reached out to Kathy with less than 24 hours notice and that we need to leave Lake Tahoe due to the fires. We needed it last minute for 6 or 7 nights. Thankfully we got a response back quick, and the next morning we were on the road. She was very accommodating and so very pleasant to work with. Even when we extended one more night with also very little notice. Dennis met us to walk us through all things Casa Bonita. Super informative about the area and his favourite courses and local restaurants. The house felt right at home especially for Palm Desert, and we were excited for the life size palms in the living room! Great AC for those 110 days, great pools at every corner. We loved playing the Dunes course and Mtn. Course. The 10th hole is truly steps from the back patio! Great for a home style beer cart stop! Clubhouse at the course was stunning, 5min walk from Casa Bonita! We would love to return, even in off season when Its very hot. Thank you Kathy!

Beautifully appointed property both regarding location and floor plan

We met our adult sons here. We all had our own space with en-suite. The outdoor space looked out to the golf course and neighborhood was great for walking. We loved being able to have our dog with us. Kitchen and baths were all well supplied . Loved the casita and courtyard.

GREAT LOCATION WALKING DISTANCE TO LA QUINTA RESORT

We loved staying in this property. While it's very hot during the summer months, we enjoyed waking up at the crack of dawn to watch the sunrise and walk over to the LaQuinta Resort for breakfast. We managed to play tennis and swim all before 10 a.m. Lovely property located on the golf course. Easy check-in and very accommodating owners/manager.

Great Place to Stay in the Pandemic

This house was perfect for our group which consisted of a parent and her partner and a younger family with a grandchild. It was on a golf course backed up to the mountains. We stayed a week and enjoyed hiking, biking, swimming, and the hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped for eating in. We did not want to leave!

Perfect Sunny Getaway

We spent a glorious week at Kathy’s property after extending our pandemic getaway to the desert! Kathy and Dennis were so flexible with our last minute stay request. The location can’t be beat and the home has everything you need. Our 16 year old loved the private casita. Will hope to stay here again one day!
