En timmerstuga handgjord med stort levande i åtanke. Undangömt i träden bredvid en babblande bäck känns stugan som en enklav för sig själv, men ändå dess närhet till Aspens gör det bekvämt inkarnat.

Upplevelsen utomhus med bottenvåningen uteplats med badtunna, gasgrill och sittplatser. Ett helt nytt övervåningsdäck har utsikt över bergen.

Magin fortsätter inuti: flodrock vänder mot foajén, och taxidermi fester toppar från det stora rummet. Bredvid ytterdörren ligger ett sovrum med två våningssängar, en stereo, garderob och inbyggda hyllor. Konstiga ljusarmaturer och fotografering dekorerar väggarna.

Fortsätt in i det stora rummet, där stora f��nster tratt i ljus. Den två våningar flodrockspisen, frontad av en invecklad eldstadsskärm, leder över det expansiva vardagsrummet. Två djupa lädersoffor och en matchande loveeat erbjuder gott om sittplatser framför storskärms plasma-TV och DVD-spelare. Montering av djur som är infödda i dalen, från en massiv tjurälg till en vågig jackalope, rader väggarna, liksom historisk fotografering och memorabilia. Franska dörrar öppnar sig mot nämnda uteplats. Ett elektriskt tangentbord inbjuder till underhållande, liksom cubbies av brädspel.

Det bifogade öppna köket har en vintage Frontier Gas-skylt (Rarin 'To Go, verkligen!) och sex verktygsbarstolar av läder. Samtidigt sätter ett stort matbord åtta. Köket är utrustat för gourmetmatlagning och har specialanpassade skåp och nya avancerade apparater inklusive en gasspis. Ett skafferi, tvättstuga och badrum avrundar bekvämligheterna i vardagsrummet.

Ett andra sovrum på bottenvåningen har en kungssäng av tallgulv och en bäddsoffa. En gasspis, plattskärms-TV och västerl��ndska sängkläder gör det till ett mysigt rum.

Klättra upp för trappan och hitta två enkelsängar undangömda under taket på loftet med utsikt över vardagsrummet. Bänkar och en bokhylla gör loftet till en härlig abborre för fler gäster.

Det första sovrummet på övervåningen har en drottning lodgepole tall säng och en vintage koboltblå spis. Det egna badrummet har plattor och en garderob. Spegelrummet ligger tvärs över hallen med en queen size-säng, ett teleskop sett på Tetons och ett eget badrum med en garderob och svartvita plattor.

En nyligen renoverad svärmorlägenhet har ett stort däck, studiokök, matbord och vardagsrum med en lädersvän, gasspis och TV. En tvättmaskin / torktumlare är instoppad i en garderob. Studionens lägenhet har en queen size-säng med tillgång till däck och ett helt nytt badrum med skiffergolv, en flodrockdusch och bänkskivor i tall.

Macker's Cabin ligger bekvämt beläget fyra miles från Teton Village, mittemot Aspens ingång, vilket gör att det ligger ett stenkast från Aspens-marknaden.

First Time in Jackson Hole

Location was great as it was close to everything! Log cabin gave us the rustic feel we wanted to help with the experience of going to the mountains. The view out back was great and felt like you were secluded and would have never guessed it was as close to the road as it was. My wife had a blast staying here and celebrating her 40th!

Perfect location, great house

Perfect spot near Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park. There is a grocery store across the street and down the road we saw moose everyday. We loved the creek in the backyard, the fire pit and the hot tub, and the inside of the house is both rustic and comfortable. It was perfect for 2 families to share for an unforgettable trip!

Great for a big family

My family stayed at Mackers Cabin for one week in July. We really liked how all of the bedrooms had their own dedicated bathroom. Upstairs there is a separate apartment that is so well insulated from noise from the rest of the house that I had no idea that the rest of my family had arrived! Unfortunately, we happened to be staying in the house during a brief period when the weather was in the 90s, so the lack of air conditioning was notable on the second floor during the day,. However, fans and humidifiers could be found in every room, which proved to be very helpful.The cabin is located just off of a main thoroughfare, so street noise was noticeable when the windows were open. There was a briskly flowing stream behind the house, which was so beautiful to look at and enjoy. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Macker's Cabin

Our family has been visiting Jackson Hole for the last 44 years, it was our summer vacation every year. This summer we returned as adults (with spouses and our children) to have a family reunion. Macker's Cabin was the perfect place to stay together while creating more family memories and showing our children the magic of Jackson/the Tetons. The property was lovely, house ideal with large bedrooms, each having their own on suite bathroom and property manager extremely helpful/responsive. We would highly recommend staying at Macker's Cabin!

Ideal for large groups or families

Fun property that is well-equipped and well-supplied. Hot tub and fire pit a great respite after days hiking. Only downside is traffic noise to one side of the house, but that is offset by fact that a small market, with great wine selection is across the road, as well as a first-rate bakery/cafe, Persephone.

Exceptional home and location…ideal for a family and close friends!

Macker’s cabin was precisely what a family ski vacation is all about…quaint, cozy, clean, and comfortable. Ideally located five minutes from JH ski area and with all amenities across the street at Aspens Market…so convenient and accommodating. The cabin is what we all remember when we were younger and allows family and friends to decompress and enjoy your surroundings and the locale. The JHRL staff is very friendly and responsive …from the management (Michael) to the technicians (Zach & Travis) on any issues that crop up…they want to ensure your stay is enjoyable and carefree; same with owners. We’ve been skiing Breck, Vail, Beaver Creek for over 25 years and Jackson Hole and Macker’s cabin will see us coming back next year. Thanks for a great time and the opportunity to enjoy Jackson Hole, Wilson, and Macker’s cabin! Best regards… J.R.

Spacious, yet cozy cabin

Our family group of six adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin home. It offered all of the comforts of home, with a truly authentic Wyoming feel. Check-in was simple. beds were comfy, hot-tub was put to good use. Could hear some elk around the home in the wee hours of the morning. Location was convenient to downtown Jackson, the airport and the National Parks.

Definitely would stay again.

Overall we were very comfortable with the property, plenty of room for 10 adults and 2-children. (There are a few areas of minor concern-dusting of the antler chandelier, had cobwebs, the kitchen oven door was sprung, so could not turn the light off, also, it looked like something had leaked in the bottom kitchen drawer prior to our visit-needs cleaned, the one blind in the master suite does not go all the way down.) Would be nice to have a couple of bare shelves for groceries, in the pantry. The deck was very slick and snowy, we had to provide snow melt. The hot tub and fire pit were a big hit. We enjoyed the ambience of fire place, and chandelier, it was very cozy and comfortable. The puzzles and games were handy for spare time. Lots of chairs!!! Felt like home, great having washer and dryer on both levels.

Maybe a good crash pad

I would not recommend. Pictures on-line are very deceiving. Master bedroom w/ no closet, walk through bedrooms, dated bathrooms, junk car in the yard, no patio furniture, close to highway (noise & headlights), fireplace did not work, poor matresses, and mice scratching around in the ceiling all night.

Family Retreat

Our Wyoming family vacation was enhanced by the warmth and tranquility of this perfectly appointed home. Every amenity was available to us. Our days were spent hiking and discovering the natural beauty around us, while our evenings were spent reconnecting in the hot tub and around the fire pit. Father Son Trip

Great family vacation

Property exactly like pictures and was fully stocked. Kids enjoyed the jacuzzi and especially the stream that ran through back yard. We had a wonderful week with our family and would like to return. Owners were easy to communicate with and made sure our stay was comfortable.

Great Place and Location!

We had an awesome time at the cabin. Highly recommended! It's big and slept 12 of us comfortably. The hot tub, grill, and fire pit are great. You're maybe 7 mins from Teton Village, 15 from Jackson Hole, and maybe 30 until you're solidly into Teton National Park. Staff at Jackson Hole Resort is also very helpful.

Mackers cabin

We had a great time, loved the house ,yard, hot tub, fire pit. We even had a Moose walk thru the yard one morning. It was a great get away for us. One thing there was a bees nest at back door on deck and it was alive, some got stung.

'the' cabin home

Great location, well thought-out cabin home with a great layout and a size that accomodated all comfortably. Very much enjoyed the property and the backyard patio, grassy area for the kids.

Great cabin with ample space!

Pictures don't do it justice - great cabin and property! Plenty of space inside and out with perfect setting next to babbling creek. Hot tub was great on the cool nights and eating out on the deck after cooking steaks on the grill. Great place for a guys long weekend or family vacation.
