T's Beach House Vacker havsutsikt och direkt tillgång till stranden

Låt stranden bli din trädgård. Direkt tillgång till miles av naturliga sandstränder som knappt berörs av kommersialisering. Detta rymliga, familjhem har varit vår helg / semester bult hål sedan vi köpte det nybyggda för 25 år sedan. Det stora vardagsrummet på övervåningen med balkong erbjuder oavbruten utsikt över kanalen som ger en känsla av lugn och avkoppling. Utrustad med 60-tums LCD-TV, DVD plus netflix. Nedervåningen ger ett fantastiskt kök / frukostrum navet i hemmet där alla kan samlas för att laga de samlade cocklesna eller skapa bilder från myriaden av olika skal som finns på stranden. En liten trädgård på baksidan ger uteservering för de varmare dagarna men det är porten direkt till stranden som verkligen ger isläggningen på kakan. För golfare är du bara 10 minuters promenad eller 2 minuters bilresa från Littlestone Golf Club med dess länkar och 10 minuters bilresa från Lydd driving range. Dungeness ligger bara en 5 minuters bilresa där du kan utforska konstnärshytterna, klättra i den gamla fyren och njuta av fish and chips på Pilot-restaurangen. Lyssna på de små ångtågen när de plöjer sig igenom myrarna innan de anländer till Dungeness.

Lokala attraktioner: Den berömda Romney Hythe och Dymchurch, miniatyr ångtåg stannar mindre än 1 mil från huset. Tåg går hela året mellan Dungerness och Hythe med "speciella dagar" som går hela året. Dessa inkluderar Thomas the Tank motordagar och Santa Specials.
Lyssna på visselpipens toot när tåget ångar det igenom Romney Marsh.
Besök Dungerness och klättra upp till toppen av den gamla fyren. På vägstopp för att se husen på Dungerness byggda med tågvagnar som nav. Kolla in kaktusträdgården till den avledade Derek Jarmen (filmregissör).
Ta ångtåget till Dymchurch och besöka tivoli och arkad särskilt lämpad för yngre barn.
"Penny Falls" som nu sväljer 2p mynt ger fortfarande gott om spänning för unga och gamla.

Äta och dricka: Ett överflöd av pubar, restauranger och den berömda "Pilot" fisk- och chiprestaurangen ligger alla i närheten, närmast är den lokala puben Seahorse. För seriösa ale-drinkare kommer vi, med lite snabbt, avslöja namnet och platsen för en lokal pub som är oförändrad i nästan 100 år där orden "is" och alcopop inte finns ...

Squid house is an ideal base for a relaxing family break. Lovely to look out across the sea. Therese is a great host and always on hand if needed.

Great location for enjoying the beach

A great size property for family gatherings. It was very clean and tidy, and in a great location. The beach was a hit for everyone and so handy to be able to pop back to the house throughout the day. Handy having shops and takeaways nearby.

Lovely stay at Littlestone on Sea

Great stay! Lovely house! Highly recommend! Beautiful sea view from the upstairs living room, and a gate from the lovely patio garden going straight to the beach. Whole family loved it!

A great stay

A deceptively spacious accommodation which easily slept 9 adults. The kitchen was well stocked with the usual items and smoothly led onto the dining area and garden area. The living room and bedrooms were really tastefully decorated and again, spacious. Would I use this accommodation again? Yes, it met our needs, nicely located for a walking weekend and our host was very helpful in answering all our questions

We had a great time at this property. It was well equipped and you can't beat the location- right on the beach. All of the instructions on access, parking ,etc were sent in advance and were easy to understand and follow.

Fabulous house and location

Really lovely house with amazing views. There was plenty of room for three generations of our family and we all had a brilliant time. The shop across the road was very convenient for things we had forgotten too! The owner was very helpful and we would love to visit again.

Perfect spot to relax

We had a wonderful stay at T's Beach House. It really is the perfect spot to relax and is spacious enough for all. There was a lovely little selection of toys for our little one to play with too. The beach is literally on the doorstep and sandy shores a short walk or 2 minute drive a way. Therese kept in contact and quickly answered any questions we had. We'd love to return.

Great Location

The beach house is in a great location with the beach directly behind the house. The house itself is very spacious with plenty of room for our family group of 6 adults and 2 teenagers. There is a Spar and a Chinese takeaway directly opposite the front of the house and the Chinese did was delicious. Also be sure to check out Reynolds ice cream van on the green next to the house, you won’t be disappointed!

Great location, comfortable and welcoming house

We really enjoyed the Beach House. Very well equipped with a large frig and a well-equipped kitchen/conservatory. The upstairs sitting room has beautiful views of the sea and the most enormous TV. It was easy to get out and about by foot, car and bicycle and there is a well-stocked supermarket directly over the road. Our family party changed its composition every few days but everyone could do their own thing. A relaxed family break.

Littlestone on sea review

Overall good with one caveat and a slight disappointment. The house was very comfortable to live in for a week, very well equipped, lovely lounge, comfortable kitchen, conservatory and outside space for all the family. The one issue for us were the quality of the mattresses. The upstairs main bedroom was way too soft,and the downstairs front bed also too soft. The other issue, not to do with the property was there was a warning on the beach not to go into the water because of poor water quality. That was disappointing.

Great stay at Beach House

Thank you Therese for a wonderful stay at Beach House. Clean, well-equipped and great position right on the beach with lovely views from upstairs lounge. Had takeaway from the Chinese opposite on our first evening - phoned order and service was very quick and a thing to note is that they don't take cards, only cash. Dined at Demetrios restaurant which had a good atmosphere and friendly service - food was typical Greek fare and tasty. Went on the stream railway from New Romney to Dungeness which was worth the trip. Thanks again for the use of Beach House. A great time was had by all three generations and the two dogs!

Home from Home

We have had a lovely time at the beach house,ideal centre for exploring the area...... Beach on your door step!!! House is very comfortable,pampering to all needs Grandparents ,Parents children, It is 100% for comfort!!! .....100% clean you could not get anything better in a 5* hotel......Grandchildren loved their bedrooms....they wanted to stay longer!! Fantastic Week

This is a very special property. We had a very comfortable week with plenty of space and great facilities. It was so handy to be able to access the beach from the rear of the property and the shop and chinese from the front! The house had some lovely festive touches and the welcome bag of goodies was the best we have ever had. The rain didn't stop us exploring, we had some lovely walks investigating the beaches as well as the local history. We also sampled local pubs and takeaways as everything was in walking distance. We hope to visit again as it was such a fabulous location and property. Many thanks

70th Birthday celebration week-end.

The house is in a perfect position for the beach. There is a grocery store just over the road. The house is very well equipped indeed, including toiletries. Just like being in a hotel. Parking for 3 cars, at a squeeze and extra overnight parking available at Sainsbury's in New Romney with Just park. The Dymchurch railway is a short distance away. Eat at Dimitri's for a first class Greek meal. Communication with the owner, Therese, was first class and helpful All in all a perfect weekend, enjoyed by everyone at the party. We will remember for a very long time

Just a perfect place to relax

What a wonderful place to relax! Beach House is just perfect, very well looked after, clean, and comfortable, but going so much further with every detail thought through! Curly Wurly’s on the pillows were just about the icing on a very well presented cake! The house was so welcoming, every detail catered for, and at no point during our time there did we think ..oh if only there was one of those…it was always there, whatever it was we needed! One thing I’d mention, those wine glasses are huge….I can’t believe how much we got through, and we still only had a couple of glasses each! Therese was just exceptionally helpful, and answered mail after questioning mail with great patience and humour, and very promptly too! There were 4 of us, and that gave us a bedroom each, and lots and lots of room! It was bliss. The views from the lounge are lovely, whatever time of day you enjoy them. The balcony was used too, to watch the tides, and the kite-boarders…. We had a lovely sunny weekend, but with all the space and comfort, we’ve already booked for a murky winter weekend as it will be just as comforting I think! We brought a lot of food (well ok, chocolate and drink) with us, but we won’t next time as the Spar over the road is so well stocked, and caters for everything, even have some hot produce too. We’ve already booked our return trip, and am sure we’ll be back after that too..I just can’t recommend it enough

Schönes Strandhause mit Blick auf's Meer

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub in T's Beach House verbracht. Das Haus bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf's Meer, ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin hat uns bereits vor Anreise viele nützliche Informationen über die Umgebung zur Verfügung gestellt und war während unseres Aufenthalts jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar.

Ferienhaus am Ärmelkanal

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Kurzer Weg zum Strand. Einkaufsmöglichkeit über die Straße. Sogar der Eiswagen war fast täglich mit seinem leckeren Eis vor Ort. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieter war sehr gut. Es wurde auch einmal die Bettwäsche soweit Handtücher getauscht.

An excellent visit

We had a great time here. The house is clean, well equipped and spacious. Three adults and a very happy dog stayed for three nights. Direct access to the beach is such a treat. Will recommend happily.

I puurchased the house after falling in love with it on a weekend visit to Greatstone. One toddler secured the deal and 2 more enjoyed so many weekends and holidays there. Late teens lost interest but now grandchildren have brought the house back to life! Become a dog owner also had a big influence! I don't think I could ever part with this house in my lifetime and live in hope that my children and grandchildren will feel the same in the future. Yes, we all love to travel abroad and to new places but the Beach House stays in our hearts and brings us back again and again. It is not just a house, it is our home. I sincerely hope you enjoy sharing it with us x
