Une maison agréable avec une vue mer exceptionnelle

Une maison parfaite pour des vacances en bord de mer un peu Ă  l’écart de la foule de San Vito. Belle base pour dĂ©couvrir la rĂ©serve naturelle du Zingaro et faire quelques randonnĂ©es. Des croques secrĂštes Ă  dĂ©couvrir dans les environs. Une voiture est nĂ©cessaire.

A beautiful oasis in San Vito

This is a beautiful, loving rebuilt farmhouse in original style on a parcel of lushly planted land with breathtaking views of the ocean and local mountains. Our Sicilian friends were incredibly impressed :D From cacti to carob trees to rosemary and sage bushes the land and farmhouse provided a very relaxed and harmonious balance to the busy busy vibes from San Vito. We swam at the small beach/swimming area at Tonnara after giving up on San Vito proper with its crowds and prices. Amenities were good, but here and there needed a little fixing which Anna, the property manager, wanted to hear about. Anna was very helpful from first contact through the visit and to our check out. The property is really for people who want to connect with nature and take in spectacular views rather than high-end amenities or San Vito life, which is close by enough at around 3km from the farmhouse. Definitely recommended, and definitely a possibility for another visit outside of peak season.

Beautiful spot, but take ant traps

The house and location are stunning. I wish we had the same experience as others when they met Anna and had everything explained to them, however, Anna never met with us. She sent somebody else that met us and just gave us the keys. We figured out most things out for ourselves**if the gate doesn't open for you, flip the switch on the electric panel**. My only complaint about the property itself, were the ants, they are everywhere. We learned how many there were when the first morning our groceries left outside of the fridge were destroyed. The fridge is the only safe place. They are even in the microwave (tried hiding the bread in there - infested by morning). Anna was informed of the issue, but we did not get a response. Aside from the ants, that are likely coming in from outside, the house was very clean and comfortable. It is in a great location, close to beautiful Zingaro. There is a path to walk down to the water, we finally found it. As you are exiting the main gate, take the little road to your left (southeast), instead of turning right towards the main road. Take the road to the end, there is a small parking area and you will see a worn path, once you walk a short distance you will see some of the rocks marked with red paint, follow those down to the cove. Take water shoes, it is volcanic rock, a little tough on bare feet.

Fantastic place with an unbelievable view.

Very relaxing villa about 2.5 miles from San Vito. My daughter walked it one day. The place is surrounded by trees and shrubs and literally feels as you are on top of the sea. Lots of sitting areas outside, including a table where one can eat al fresco, and comfortable inside with one bdr/bath on the ground floor and two bdrs/ bath upstairs. The host, Anna is very helpful and ready to assist with any questions yoy may have. Would definitely return to the villa if the opportunity arises.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location!

We loved our stay at Anna and Osvaldo's house. The house itself was even better than the pictures showed, positioned with fabulous views of the sea and plenty of sunny spots to read a book or enjoy a glass of wine. We particularly loved the garden (full of fresh produce!) and the outdoor shower to cool down in on hot days. The house is located between Zingaro National Park and San Vito Lo Capo and, as such, a car is a must for getting there, as well as for ferrying goods back home to cook with. We were six people and I would say that is the ideal number (as the only other bed is a sofa bed with not much privacy!) Air conditioning in the rooms was much appreciated during the heat. Communication can be a little patchy with bad reception in the area, however Osvaldo met us in town and drove us to the house and showed us around, as well as giving us tips about the town. He was also available to answer any questions we had during our stay and replied promptly. Our favourite swimming spots nearby were Tonnara (less than 5 mins drive in the car), Zingaro National Park (go early to get a park and avoid the heat!) as well as the little rocky swimming cove off the road the house was located (about a 1km walk, pack water as the way back is steep.) Much nicer to swim in than the over-crowded San Vito Lo Capo beach. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway. We stayed for a week but were very sad to leave when our time was up!

An oasis in a great area of Sicily

We loved this house; the gardens, terraces, views and general ambiance were beautiful. San Vito lo Capo is nearby, and the amazing walks and beaches in the Zingaro National Park are just up the road. The house is impeccable, authentic and great to hang out in. Highly recommended.

Semplicemente il paradiso!

Ho trascorso,con famiglia ed amici,5 giorni nella splendida Villa Del Firriato a San Vito Lo Capo e posso affermare di aver vissuto la completa perfezione! La Villa,con il suo meraviglioso parco selvaggio e curatissimo allo stesso tempo,sembra fondersi con la natura circostante...la tranquillitĂ ,la comoditĂ ,la vista mozzafiato e la squisita cortesia del padrone di casa hanno reso il nostro soggiorno davvero indimenticabile!Consigliatissima!!!!!

Incantevole

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare nella villa per 12 giorni. Poco distante da San Vito Lo Capo, immersa nella macchia mediterranea, con una vista mozzafiato sul mare blu della riserva dello Zingaro. Ovunque tu sia, in cucina, nel salotto o nelle camere, il colore del mare ti accompagna e ti stupisce in ogni ora del giorno. Il magnifico giardino ci ha permesso di passeggiare nel silenzio interrotto solo dalle cicale e di godere dei profumi del rosmarino, della salvia, della lavanda che costeggiano i sentieri interni. E ancora nel giardino cactus, ulivi, agavi in fiore e un immenso carrubo che ha rinfrescato i sonnellini pomeridiani dei nostri bimbi. Il portico e la cucina esterna sono un'ottima alternativa alla cena downtown, il salottino outdoor perfetto per gli aperitivi e per osservare l'alba che ogni mattina ci ha offerto spettacoli unici. La bellezza della costa e delle spiagge, l'incanto dell'entroterra e delle cittĂ ' del trapanese ci hanno costretto lontani dalla villa durante gran parte del nostro soggiorno. Ci torneremo, questa volta per godere il lento trascorrere delle ore in questo magico angolo di mondo.

Splendida vacanza in antica villa

Soggiorno splendido..Immobile fedele alla descrizione, ben collocato sul promontorio in posizione strategica per raggiungere in pochi minuti San Vito lo Capo, riserva naturale dello Zingaro e graziose spiagge limitrofe. Villa antica in pietra, confortevole, locali spaziosi, camere disposte su due livelli con vista stupenda mare monti. Salone luminoso con cucina a vista ben accessoriata. ( Sarebbe gradita una lavastoviglie) Esterni ben accessoriati, sdrai e divanetti numerosi fanno godere in pieno relax la magnifica vista sul golfo. Grande terreno contorna la villa, ulivi, svariati arbusti profumati tipici della macchia mediterranea completano il magnifico contesto. Spettacolare l’albero secolare. Dal primo momento si percepisce di essere immersi in una splendida vacanza. Proprietario accogliente e professionale nel fornire informazioni utili per non perdere tempo. Rammaricati solo di avere soggiornato una settimana. Consiglio vivamente

"Villa magnifica perfettamente corrispondente alla descrizione, addirittura piĂč bella di come appare nelle foto. Contesto stupendo e di grande tranquillitĂ . Ottima per due famiglie perchĂš permette di avere comunque degli spazi propri ben distinti. Tutti i posti piĂč belli sono raggiungibili in pochi minuti.
