This cabin was absolutely one of the cleanest and nicest cabins we've stayed in. Management very accessible and owners very responsive. Our little dog had a wonderful time. Plenty of room for all of us. We had a great time and really enjoyed the cabin.

The cabin was really nice! Nice views from the porch. The cabin was clean and fully stocked with things you will need. We had plenty of room with 7 adults and a toddler. The pool was nice especially on the really hot days. Unfortunately we did not see any bears. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We just returned from an unforgettable week at this beautiful mountain cabin. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, especially the kitchen. The layout worked perfectly for a group—plenty of space to gather together for meals and games, but also room to spread out when people needed some quiet time.Communication with the hosts was smooth and easy. They clearly put a lot of care into the cabin, and it shows.Highly recommend this spot for any group looking to unplug, reconnect, and enjoy the peace of the mountains. We made some amazing memories here!

Perfect Cozy Cabin

This was a perfect cozy cabin, very close to Gatlinburg and only 15min from Pigeon Forge! Our favorite part was the king size beds in all bedrooms. Also the beds are so comfy which is rare in some cabins!! Gail was a great communicator and answered all my questions. The cabin was fully stocked which was so appreciated. The kitchen area is on the smaller size but works fine if you have only 1-2 people cooking or in the kitchen space. The entire group enjoyed our stay!

Christmas Vacation

We have used VRBO in the past and would rate The Summit Cabin as one of the nicest, with a great location and a real value. The place was clean, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was close to all the sites we wanted to see. There was also a grocery store nearby and we were only a few steps away from dozens of restaurants. Gail was extremely responsive anytime we needed anything. She communicated with me often to ensure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this cabin.

Outstanding Property

We had an amazing time at the Summit Cabin. The owner, Gail, was an outstanding host and the cabin had everything we needed. It was the best appointed rental property that we have ever stayed in. The location offered privacy, but was close to the local tourist attractions, hiking trails, etc.

Beautiful Cabin, lots a room, and a great porch with great scenery. Gail the owner was very attentive, checking in to make sure everything was OK with us, and the house. I would highly recommend the Summitt Cabin.

Wonderful cabin!

Had 8 adults, 2 children and this cabin accommodated us all perfectly. Location was great, cabin was clean, cozy and perfectly stocked with necessities. Mrs. Gail was so sweet and helpful with all my questions and requests for local places to eat. Thank you Mrs. Gail for making our short little family get together so memorable!

Beautiful cabin

Great getaway with friends

Wonderful Place to Stay

Great accommodations! Clean, super comfortable, close to everything. Kids enjoyed the lower level of the cabin thoroughly. The pool, the hot tub, the rocking chairs on the covered porch, the view, the relaxation, I could go on and on. We had a wonderful vacation and this home was a large part of it! Peaceful cabin with impressive view of the smokies

This cabin was perfect for our combined family trip. We had 4 adults, 3 teens, and a 9 year old. The pool table and TV room was perfect for the teens while us adults enjoyed the quiet upstairs and porch view of the mountains. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and working coffee pot. The location was convenient to downtown Gatlinburg, a really nice grocery store, and the national park. Everything was clean, and I liked the king beds in all rooms. Compared to other rentals, the bathrooms were small but perfect for our needs. Our host was very personable checking in on us and giving recommendations. I would definitely recommend this cabin to others.

The Summit

The Summit cabin was perfect for our family of 10 fall getaway! Our communication with the owners prior to our arrival was friendly and helpful in planning our week. Upon arrival, we discovered an inviting, clean space. The owners had provided everything to make the cabin feel like home! The beds were very comfortable and showers hot.We spent time on the deck, in the hot tub, shooting pool, playing games, and sharing meals. There was ample space for private time, as well. The location was perfect! We wanted to be away from the city but also close enough. A gas station, grocery store, shops, and local cuisine was close, so we didn’t have to go through town, unless we wanted to. Access to downtown Gatlinburg and GSMNP was also close. There are resident bears which were a daily highlight!! They were not aggressive but good to be aware. We are grateful for our time here and hope to come back!

Beautiful cabin with great attention to detail!

Morse and Gail were absolutely wonderful to book with. The Summit is lovely and very comfortable. The attention to detail was such a pleasant surprise. The cabin is supplied with everything a family could possibly need and then some! The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has every possible item you could ever need. The floor plan worked very well for our group. (2 families) The adults had the main floor with the master suites, living, dining and kitchen, while the teens had the lower level with the other 2 bedrooms and the game room. The location is very convenient and within a mile of a very nice grocery store and dollar store. My husband's birthday was during our visit along with our wedding anniversary. Gail was so kind to have a cake delivered for the occasions! This was our third trip to Gatlinburg but our first time staying at this property. We hope to make another trip next year and would not consider a cabin other than The Summit!

Very clean, organized and wonderful hosts

We had a great time with our family of 10. Children, husbands and grand babies. Everyone had enough room and something to do. Gail and Morse were wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We even saw a mamma bear and her cubs. The babies from the safety of the cabin. no worries, they won't hurt you if you leave them be and the boys made plenty of noise when mamma bear walked out in front of them. She just kept going on her way. So much to do in Gatlinburg area. We hiked and played in the steam at the nearby Smokey Mountain Trails. We had dinner at the Crystal Creek Rest right down the road. the staff and food both wonderful. It's a unique place with great atmosphere. We can't explain the joy and peace we felt sitting on the big broad porch each day. Most mornings this is where we had coffee and breakfast. The hot tub was used several times and like the rest of the house very clean and inviting. The kitchen is well stocked and very well laid out. The beds are very comfortable and we loved having King size beds. The only reason i didn't give this five stars is the pool is very small for this size of community. It didn't however stop us from enjoying it most days. If you need a place to gather, rest or relax, this is your place. We all would like to come back in the winter to experience it here.

Comfortable and home-like place in the mountains

Staying at The Summit was a great experience. The home is beautifully decorated but cozy and comfortable. It is located in a small community surrounded by mountains and lots of trees. Every amenity is there, including plenty of clean, soft towels, laundry soap, kitchen necessities and a large collection of games for the whole family. The beds are super comfortable memory foam, and everyone got a good night's sleep. Mr. and Mrs. Conyers are friendly and attentive hosts. If we had needed anything, which we didn't, they were only a text or call away. Thanks for everything! We rent a home every year for Thanksgiving week, and this is the first home where we had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare a complete holiday meal and a roomy table to share it at. The location is close to town and all its activities and near a nice grocery store. Because of the cool weather, we did not get to sit on the rockers on the large front porch or enjoy the hot tub, but they were definitely inviting. The community pool is right across the street for those visiting in warmer weather. We brought two dogs with us. It's so nice finding a pet friendly place to stay. There is a gate there to block off the stairs to the lower level and another gate to put across a doorway, plus bowls and a crate that would hold a small to medium size dog. Everything has been thought out and taken care of. If we ever travel to Gatlinburg again, we will definitely stay at the Summit. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Hello prospective guests! We are the owners/ managers of The Summit Cabin and we love sharing our 2nd home with our guests!
I am retired from banking and Morse is a cattle farmer on our middle Tennessee 3rd generation cattle farm. We honeymooned in the Smokies 39 years ago and fell in love with the area! Now we go back numerous times throughout the year because we just can't get enough of this beautiful area! We have a son, daughter in law and 3 grandchildren who we love spending time with in The Summit!
Hosting has been a joy! Each guest arrives a stranger and leaves as a friend. We've hosted many multi-generational families who've enjoyed every minute making memories in the cabin with their children/ grandchildren.

We bought The Summit in Oct 2014 after finding the perfect Gatlinburg cabin. It had everything we were looking for; near the strip ( 3 mi), a view, a welcoming front porch and a great layout.

We loved this property from the moment we saw it. It had everything we were looking for; a huge rocking chair porch, incredible views and a perfect layout of living space. It is only 3 miles from the Gatlinburg strip but feels " miles away" once you're at the cabin. We loved the massive windows that reveal the views while allowing natural sunlight to flood the cabin. Many cabins are dark with few windows and we were careful to avoid that feel.

The style of The Summit is unique. It is an A frame with high ceilings which makes it feel quite large. The L shaped porch is a big hit with guests with the rocking chairs and the views of Mt LeConte. The huge gas grill is read to go; no firewood needed. Our guests love the layout of the cabin with 2 bedrooms plus sitting areas on each floor. It has mountain decor and luxurious leather furniture. The Resort swimming pool is located just steps from the cabin.
