A great retreat in the middle of beautiful costal nature

The place is exactly what the pictures and descriptions. This said it is complicated to explain how special the view and nature that is available to you. It is outside of town and thus very quiet which we were looking for. For the rest, the hosts are super nice and helpful so that we could make the most of our stay.

Relaxing

This property is super clean and private. The view was gorgeous and the bed comfortable. We were travelling around Italy was it was perfect for some down time. Loved the loungers and the outdoor shower to cool off. Take a drive there was an amazing beach and fantastic restaurants with a view

The jaw-dropping view is just the beginning if this very dpecial property. Plenty of room for two people. Beautiful property and gardens. Lovely, accomodating hosts. Fascinating area to explore and not overrun with tourists. We wished we could have stayed longer.

An absolute delight!

We stayed a week at Anna's place and it was absolutely fantastic! The house has everything you need and the view over the sea is just stunning! You are just 5 mins away from S.M Leuca, a lovely town to visit. All in all, he has a wonderful time and will certainly come back!

Lovely villa in very relaxing environment

Very clean and nice small villa. Perfect place for two adults who don’t want to party all night long anymore. View to the seaside is wonderful. Hosts Anna and Alfio are exceptional frendly and warm. Ready to help at once if needed but don’t bother you if help is not needed. Strongly recommend this pöace.

What a beautiful place!

I'm so glad we chose this beautiful house to stay in Puglia. Our hosts were amazing, Anna and Alfio. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the place was really clean. The private garden is huge and the view of the Adriatic Sea is stunning. San Marco Di Leuca was a special little town and we loved the boat trip and the restaurants there. It is a long drive to anywhere else in Puglia, just to let you know.

May visit

Beautiful outside area/views/trees and plants. Definitely a place where you will want to spend most of your time outdoors! Appreciated this even more after seeing other properties where gardens were sparse. It felt very private (although there is a property next door - not sure whether this is in use). We spent a lot of time at the property and I found the outdoor chairs uncomfortable towards the end of the stay. Mid-may was cooler and much more windy than I expected.

A little bit of heaven


When I booked this property, I thought it looked pretty amazing in the photos but when we got there, my husband and I were absolutely wowed by the gorgeous location and the beauty of this place, inside and out. Our hosts, Anna and Alfio provided everything we needed for a fantastic vacation in southern Puglia and were so welcoming and gracious. I was able to cook in the kitchen and we loved eating outside where it was always blissfully quiet. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the AC. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and large enough for us with plenty of storage. Everything absolutely exceeded all our expectations and we certainly hope to come back again someday.

OK, so we loved this place - but then we love rustic places in quiet locations.The house itself is very traditionally furnished in an older Italian style - if you're looking for modern and boutique then this isn't it. For the amount of time we spent inside it, it was clean and had everything we needed. Comfy bed, great sleeps.The outside looks like it has been renovated in recent times. Comfy, private patio area and extensive grounds, nice place to just relax for a day if you don't fancy exploring. It would lovely if it had a pool, but on a hot day the outdoor shower works just as well. And the views are stunning.There's not much in the immediate vicinity, so a car is fairly essential to get around as any shops, restaurants etc would otherwise be a long walk along the fairly busy road at the top of the slope from the property (far enough away that there is no traffic noise).10 minutes or so one way you have Santa Maria which is a lovely, low-rise fishing village gotten touristy (but without selling it's soul). We particularly liked the restaurant Santa Maria along the near end of the promenade.10 minutes the other way is the Maria di Novaglie and the Lo Scolo restaurant which was the find of our holiday. Spend some time there - we went for dinner one night and then came back the next day to use the sunloungers, have a swim and do a long, late lunch. Amazing spot.Hope you have as much fun in this lovely part of Italy as we did.

Clean, cozy with many outdoor rooms and spaces to relax and explore

After weeks of researching places all over Puglia, I chose this property for the spaciousness outdoors with a closeup view of the sea. Maria and Alfie were dedicated hosts to make certain I had an enjoyable stay. I discovered about 15 species of birds on my Merlin app. I even spotted the Hoopoe bird long enough to identify it. I found flying into Bari totally doable for my flight in and out of Gagliano de Capo. There are many touristy things to do, yet I’d likely skip those things in favor of staying on the property and visiting the many incredibly gorgeous azure beaches. The color of the sea in this area is beyond my experience . The house is small yet comfortable, especially the bed and special pillows which made for great sleeping. I easily managed without a washing machine. I believe the outdoor area was even more expansive and beautiful than the photos portrayed. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to return.

Wonderful Pajari along the coast

We loved the charming stone house (pajari) that has been in Anna's family for four generations. A modern remodel makes the place a wonderful gem. The house covered all our basic needs with a well equipped kitchen, great bathroom and living area. The bedroom is a good size but the mattress was too firm for our liking. We loved the large terrace and were treated to the powerful Sirrocco winds as we relaxed and watched the ocean waves. The yard is massive with many dry stacked walls and if you were staying for a week I would have a dinner or two down in the yard protected by the wind. We liked the privacy and quietness of the property and the closed off highway was like having a private road that went for 15 km. Great for biking. We appreciated Anna's husband showing us the local supermarket that was well stocked and we enjoyed several meals cooked at the house. I would love to come back again in the future as the area is wonderful.

Sehr schönes Haus in Alleinlage mit absoluter PrivatsphĂ€re. SpektakulĂ€rer Ausblick, ruhige Lage und sehr netter Vermieter. Die Kommunikation mit Alfio lief unkompliziert und er war jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit. Sehr gute Tipps fĂŒr Restaurants. Wir waren 2 Wochen da und hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Einzig die KĂŒche ist etwas klein - aber sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Absolute Empfehlung!

Merveilleux !

Nous avons passez super sĂ©jour dans cette belle maison en pierre! Un havre de paix face Ă  la mer dans un grand jardin arborĂ© d'oliviers et de cĂąpriers. Nous avons pu admirer le levĂ© du soleil depuis la maison, et une lune en fĂȘte les soirs avec ses couleurs chatoyantes sur la mer. Magnifique!La maison est propre, confortable, et bien situĂ©e, Ă  trois minutes en voiture du port de Santa Maria di Leuca, et d'autres villes un peu plus loin (Gallipoli,Otranto...) que l'on peut faire dans la journĂ©e.Un grand merci Ă  Anna et Alfio pour leur accueil ! Ils sont trĂšs arrangeants et rĂ©actifs. Ils ont pris des nouvelles pendant le sĂ©jour, toujours avec un petit mot gentil.Je recommande vivement!!
