Detta är en lägenhet för en weekendresa som ligger bara ett kvarter från Lehigh River och femton minuters promenad till historiska centrum Jim Thorpe. Lägenheten är utrustad med en queen size-säng, en bäddsoffa, gas spis (endast kalla månader), grundläggande kabel-TV, en DVD-spelare, WIFI, nytt kök, rustikt vardagsrum och nytt badrum. Det finns en skuggad innergård på baksidan för att koppla av utanför. Lägenheten har också originella konstverk som hänger på väggarna målade av ägaren. Målereproduktioner är till salu i centrum på Bear Appetite Cafe och ägarnas ursprungliga tee shirts designar till salu på Mauch Chunk 5 & 10 ligger på Broadway och Horizon Gifts som ligger där Race Street och Broadway möts.

A beautiful hideaway for a few days. Jim Thorpe is surrounded by visitor friendly eateries and shops, historic locations, splendid scenery and outdoor activities to suit all ages. We enjoyed revisiting this delightful location, and equally enjoyed just chilling at home in the Weekender. It was comfortable, quiet and convenient.

Lovely quaint property

We really enjoyed this quaint little spot. It's close enough to the town to easily pop over but far enough away to be very quiet and calm. The hosts were so kind and welcoming- we would dediniteky go back.

Nice apartment

Very clean and in a nice neighborhood. It's more like a 20-30 minute walk into town. (The listing said 10 minutes). We would definitely stay there again though.

Birthday weekend

This is a cute and clean place to stay. It's close to Jim Thorpe and Steve the host is a pleasure to speak to. My friend and I enjoyed our stay. Will definately stay again in the future.

The property is located in a very nice spot. A 5 minutes drive from Main Street or a 15 minute walk. Very clean!

A nice location close to historic sites and venues. A nice cozy apartment with everything you need. We enjoyed our stay and would like to revisit again.

Excellent service and location

Unfortunately my partner and I had to end our trip a bit early due to unforeseen circumstances, but our time at the Weekender was fantastic. Place is nicely located, kept in immaculate shape, and was cozy and pleasantly decorated. Strongly recommend.

Cozy stay and short walk to downtown

Steve was wonderful and communicative with us throughout the whole stay! The apartment is an easy 15 walk to the historic downtown area with a bunch of shops and restaurants - such an awesome location at an affordable price!

I love this area! Stephen’s weekender getaway was perfect for us. We walked across the street for a delicious dinner at the Union Public House then saw Hunkajunk at Mauch Chunk Opera House. The next morning, we made coffee and breakfast, then hoped on our bikes and were in downtown Jim Thorpe in under 5 minutes. The shuttle took us to the start of an incredibly scenic bike ride along the Lehigh River. We got to meet Steve and are wearing his gifted Jim Thorpe T-shirts! Highly recommend this place—we will be back :)

First time in Jim Thorpe

Location was ideal for us! Close to local market and downtown. Size of apartment was great for 2 people and had everything we needed. Parking was never an issue, literally right at the front door. Can’t wait to return!
